For the next couple of days, Shun was finally able to make dinner for the lawyers that had been helping them with the case. Bringing the teapot, he refilled everyone’s cup and sat beside Jin. His fingers were interlocked with the pinkette’s and Shun… really don’t know what to do with himself.
He undyingly loves Suu Jin.
“Thank you for the meal again, Shun. Everything was delicious,’ the female lawyer smiled.
“No, really it was nothing. You two were the ones who worked tirelessly on everything. Thank you for taking this on,” Shun bowed.
“Yes. Thank you,” Gina smiled and Manager Oil also thanked them.
“Ah… so many thanks,” the male lawyer laughed before letting out a sigh, “Truth is, the results are not… what we had wanted.”
Shun’s eyes widened and he squeezed Jin’s hands tighter. What did that mean? Was Hosh going to escape?!
“A deal was made,” the female lawyer frowned, “Now, mind you, we fought against it, but the judge was the one to accept the deal.”
“What is the deal?” Suu Jin questioned leaning into the conversation.
“You aren’t going to like it,” the male lawyer sighed, “CEO Hosh is free to go, but may never returned back here again.”
“…”
“…”
“That… Is it?” Shun could not believe it. He wanted that bastard to rot in hell, but the rich man was being let go. He just… Why?!
“I know it isn’t what any of us want, but at least he won’t be around us,” the female lawyer sighed.
“It is alright,” Jin smiled and looked at his lawyers, “Thank you for working hard. You did what you could. Eat your fill. Shun worked hard on it.”
“It certainly is delicious!” The male lawyer grinned as he ate more.
Shun didn’t like the result of all their hard work, but…
He looked over at his lover and his heart softened. Ah, just looking at Suu Jin made him feel better. Green eyes turned to him and his cheeks warmed from being caught, but he was proud of it. Suu Jin already knew how much he loved him. Why would he hide it?
Hands grabbed his and he let out a soft laugh, staring as their fingers hugged.
“I apologize,” Jin said quietly and looked at his lawyers as they finished their meal, “You will have trouble again.”
“Oh no… what is it?” The female lawyer frowned, “Don’t tell me it is another big case.”
“I will be going public with Xiong Shun.”
“…”
“…”
“Oh.”
“Shit.”
“I told Manager Yaotzu already. He will be speaking with Miss Allie and we would go public through her. He isn’t happy. I get it. A lot will change and I would most likely lose money, but…” Suu Jin looked at his dear Shun and smiled, “I won’t hide any longer. Shun deserves it and I deserve it.”
“Ah Jin,” Shun squeezed his lover’s hand and he really just wanted to melt right onto the pinkette.
“Alright,” the male lawyer smile, “We’ll be prepared. Oh, while we are at it…” the smile fell, “A lot of NDAs have expired. There will be a lot of bad things coming your way too. Are you ready for them?”
Jin nodded. There wasn’t anything he could do about it.
“You know what would be said, right?” The female lawyer wanted to make sure, “Mm, as long as you are ready.”
Once dinner was finished, the lawyers returned home and Manager Oil helped Gina to bed. He took the guest room and Shun welcomed him. Cleaning up the dishes and getting ready for a shower, Shun looked over to see Jin was taking off his clothes methodically.
“Ah Jin?”
Shun went to wrap his arms around his idol prince. His face was cupped and lips kissed his worries away.
“Before we go public, Ah Shun, I have to tell you everything.”
“Okay,” he nodded and went to sit at the side couch in the room.
Jin cupped his hands and leaned forward. Knees on his thigh, he dropped his head for a moment as he thought of how to start. His blue eyed lover was leaning against him and arms wrapped around him. Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes and began.
“I killed Genu.”
“…”
“…”
“Tell me… There is more to that,” Shun whispered and tightened his hold on the pinkette.
The idol prince looked at him and it was the same look Jin gave when he told his lover he hated him. Such despair and heartbreak, Shun never wanted to see that on the pinkette’s face ever again. He grabbed Jin’s face and kissed and kissed and kissed.
Jin pushed him back.
“Shun,” his lover sighed, “I love him.”
“… I… Okay.”
“He was 13 and I was 14. We had been hanging out a lot and before I knew it, we were kissing. Then, he told me he loves me and I… ran away,” he sighed, “I left the group the next day and signed with Manager Yaotzu. I ignored all his calls, all his text, I even ignored Pengu and Yanny.”
Green eyes searched his face.
“I went on as if nothing happened and made it big alone. I avoided anyone asking about 1Luv. Then on his birthday…” Jin cupped Shun’s face, “He called me over and over. I ended up blocking his number. I though ignoring him would make me forget what happened. After my album showcase, I got a call from my mother that Genu died.
I thought she was just trying to get me to make up with him, but she was crying. When I got home, the cops came to speak with me. They told me the last person Genu called was me and they saw that he had tried calling me 46 times before a car hit him. They told me Genu left me a letter and I... I couldn’t accept it. I felt guilty and my heart was squeezing so hard, I thought Genu was gripping it.”
Suu Jin closed his eyes and Shun pulled him closer. He sighed and nuzzled his lover’s neck.
“Pengu yelled at me, blamed me, and I blamed myself. Everyone was upset and called me cold, evil, and a horrible person. It took me a long time to change people’s mind about me. My lawyers did a lot of the work. Lots of NDAs given,” Jin spoke quietly and Shun rubbed his back.
“My reputation will fall, Ah Shun. Are you willing to fall with me?”
