‘…’
“…”
‘WHAT?!’
“…”
‘Are you… Are you serious?!’
“Pssh, of course I’m not! I told you it wasn’t going to give me anything except you missing your memories.”
‘Did… Do you know which memories were taken?’
“Why don’t you think and try to recall some things.”
‘…’
“Do you remember why you are talking to me?”
“Because you sent me here?” Shun answered as he thought about it.
“Why did I send you there?”
“…” Shun was starting to see blank spaces in his memories and his eyes shot opened. He was sent here to be with this man he was holding because… because…
“Who is that man?”
‘W… What?’
“Who is that man you are holding?” The witch questioned patiently and Shun… He didn’t know. He didn’t know! He should but… but!
“Ah Shun,” Jin turned off the stove and stopped cooking the tofu veggie stir fry. He turned to Shun, who was squeezing him tightly like a snake with its prey. He saw wide blue eyes, scared and angry, stared at him.
“What is wrong? Is it the potion?”
He cupped Shun’s face and saw the man flinched. His eyes widened and he held tighter, watching the way his lover looked like a scared cat ready to run away. He sang softly to the tune that tend to calm Shun. His lover told him it belonged to his mother in the past, so he hoped his boyfriend would be at ease.
It only frightened Shun even more.
“Let go!” Shun backed away against the island, “I… Why can’t I remember?!”
That was when Jin knew… He knew Shun, his lover, had forgotten about him. Those memories… they were gone because of the potion. It was a risk he took and… Jin probably would have done it again to save his lover. Swallowing the lump in his throat, he walked to Shun and stared at him.
“Is the witch still talking to you?” Jin whispered and Shun looked at him with big wet eyes.
“You know about her? H- How?”
“Shun Nottingale,” Jin offered a small smile, “Please.”
Shun was freaking out. How did this man know about the witch and his real name. It didn’t make sense. He… He knew he had some sort of relationship with the pink haired man. What kind, he wasn’t sure, but his heart felt as if it was reaching for the man. That scared him because it belonged to…
It belonged to…
‘Who?! Who did it belong too!’
Hands cupped is face and he was forced to stare up at emerald green contacts.
“Witch, I wish to make an offer,” Jin spoke gently, “Take some of my memories and returned Shun’s. If you can’t return his memories, then… take mine as well. I cannot live knowing my love for him, the memories we shared, he no longer remembers. Take it away and I will finish that mission of yours. Let Shun live a normal life. Please.”
All Shun could do was stare. He… This beautiful man loved him? Wait… they shared a lot of memories… were they lovers? A part of him said yes like the sound of harps playing as if he finally found the one. He was crying and when the pink haired man pulled away from his face, he clutched them for dear life.
“You…” Shun started and frowned, “No. Don’t forget me or what we had, okay? I might not remember you fully, but… I know… I can see you really love me… right?”
Shun questioned quietly and Jin smiled with a nod.
“Then don’t lose it. I will need you to remind me, okay? The witch will not do anything to you. I won’t let her!” Shun frowned and he heard the huff of the woman.
“Mm, then I will leave you alone. Remember your mission.”
With that said, the witch finally left his mind. Sun felt a presence nearing him, so he looked to see the pinkette leaning toward him. He shut his eyes unsure what was going to happen. It was quiet and he lifted a lid to see the pinkette just watching him with a look that said too much to his heart.
Jin leaned back and offered a smile.
“My name is Suu Jin. I am an idol here and you are my lover. Today, our friends are coming over to watch the reporter Allie premiering our interview to the world. It’s about our relationship, Shun. You go by Xiong Shun here and call Ping Ping, my cousin, your didi. There is a lot you still have to remember, right?”
“I… I remember Ping Ping, Wen Dong… and uh… Shinny Dolls and Symmony. I still remember my friends, but… It’s just… you that I don’t remember…”
“…”
“I… I am sorry.”
“It isn’t your fault,” Jin sighed and pulled away, “When our friends come, do you want to pretend or tell them you don’t remember me?”
“I don’t want to alarm them,” he missed the head in his hands and his cheeks, “We can pretend, at least until I really know you again.”
He saw the pinkette smile with a nod. They set the table and drinks on the table. Jin had mentioned they normally hold hands and kiss, but they could avoid it if he wasn’t comfortable.
“We… We… ca… We can…” he stuttered out red faced. It was going to be his first time kissing! Ah! It would be with a handsome man too!
Jin watched the red face, the nervousness, the way those blue eyes looked at him just a little longer than strangers. It made his heart raced thinking that even without his memories, Shun was still attracted to him. He was sure Shun would come to love him again. He was willing to wait, to help, to do everything to bring his lover back to him.
The door opened to reveal everyone there. Some brought their own meals to place on the table and Shun couldn’t help hugging Ping Ping tightly.
“Hm? You missed baby Ping that much, Ah Shun?” Wen Dong laughed going to grab a pizza at the table.
“Yes! So much,” Shun cried out and the little pinkette laughed hold his gege tighter.
Wen Dong rolled his eyes and winced as he moved a bit off. Jin stared at the purple eyed man for a moment before heading to him.
“What happened?”
“Eh? Ah, Jin. I am fine.”
“…”
“…”
“Alright, alright,” Wen Dong gave in with a sigh, “That cousin of yours bit a little too hard last night.”
