Chapter 171 - A Sliver Of Jealousy

Shun’s cheeks warmed and he quickly looked away to nuzzle against Angel. Jin always made him feel like the only person there was that mattered. Kissing Angel’s forehead, he did worry the girl wasn’t drinking as much as her brother. She was born first by five whole minutes before Peter was, so he assumed it would be the opposite: Angel being more fit than Peter.

“Ah Jin,” Shun turned to look at Jin who was already staring at him with soft green eyes.

Lost in his boyfriend’s stare, Shun felt breathless, floating on the clouds, and being hugged by soft furs. Suu Jin was really too much for his heart, but Shun couldn’t get enough. Sometimes he woke before the pinkette and just stared at the man lying beside him. He still felt this was a dream because how could someone like him get so lucky?

He found the man that he had loved for years here in this new world, who loved him unconditionally, and was willing to do almost anything he wanted. Shun really can’t thank the Gods enough for a gift so pure and beautiful.

“Hm?” Jin sounded after Shun blinked, “Baby, stare at me like that any longer, I will eat you again.”

“Yes,” Shun whispered before he caught himself. Clearing his throat, he smiled when Jin placed a kiss to his lips.

“Ah Jin,” Shun tried again, “Angel… Do you think it is healthy for her to not eat as much as Peter? Maybe we should get her checked again.”

“Auntie said it is normal for some newborns to not eat as much, but she also said that if it continued for another month, we should see someone,” Jin provided and tapped Angel’s nose. The little girl reacted and scrunched her nose for a second, then she relaxed again.

Truth was, Suu Jin also worried about the baby girl. She was smaller than Peter, yet the first to arrive into their world. Her reactions were slow at times if there were any to begin with. They had looked at videos and bought books on parenting to help them. Lisa from Shinny Dolls wanted to come over with the girls, but Jin read that it was important for newborns to not be exposed to too many things at once.

He couldn’t remember where, but Shun and he agreed to care for the babies until they were at least 2 months before letting others visit. Their promotion for their album was on pause, but their music video dropped into the interweb already. Shun saw some were disgusted, some were commenting on the visual, some were gushing over them, and some were writing comments and articles on removing their video.

As far as what Shun was able to gather, a lot of hate went to those who helped with the project: Ms. Poppy, Mr. Boon, and Mr. Keith. Their small companies were being looked into and even their personal lives! That just pissed the silver haired protagonist because they didn’t deserve the loss of privacy! No one deserved that!

When he told Jin, his boyfriend encouraged that they go live and talk to their real fans. They also showed both Angel and Peter to the world, as well as speaking about Gina. Although the hate was still prevalent for those who supported them, they did their best to sway the hate to them.

“It will die off eventually,” Jin held him close, “Let’s just focus on us.”

Suu Jin, the perfect boyfriend had calmed him with words and kisses. His lover was right. He only needed to focus on his family right now. Smiling at Angel who was staring at the ceiling, Shun bent down and kissed her small head. The sound of their single entered his ears and he looked up to see their MV playing on the television.

“Ah Jin,” Shun turned to the pinkette who placed the remote back on the coffee table, “I love you.”

Jin grinned and kissed his lips.

“I love you too.”

They enjoyed the music video and even replayed it multiple times. Shun just loved how the shot made them look so lovely and perfect. It was exactly how he envisioned and felt when he was with the idol prince. Mr. Keith knew exactly how he felt.

A stinky smell slowly filled their noses, and both Shun and Jin looked at Peter who had his face scrunched up. Sighing, Jin waited for Peter to finish before taking him to change his diaper. Shun smiled watching them leave, before looking back at Angel.

“Angel, are you just a quiet baby?” He questioned rubbing the soft small hand.

Angel blinks and made bubbles with her mouth, causing Shun’s blue eyes to widen. Angel had barely reacted to anything besides scrunching her face when they touched her nose. So, to see their baby girl acting normally, it made him so excited, he picked her up and ran to Jin. The pink haired idol was already rocking Peter to sleep against his chest.

“Babe,” Shun whispered holding Angel out to him, “Look! She reacted.”

Jin leaned closer to see the baby’s lips were wet and eyes blinking at him innocently. Smiling, he nodded and Shun beamed brightly. Jin reached out to place Angel against his chest as well, since Shun said he needed to run to the restroom. When the silver haired protagonist returned, he couldn’t help filming his lover singing his mother’s lullaby.

Jin with his eyes closed holding the twins closely, Shun felt a sliver of jealousy. His lover looked so relax, so at home, that he felt as if he was not part of that family. His thoughts just went back to Gina and Jin raising the twins together as a true family. Suu Jin wouldn’t be ruining his career, lose face, or his business.

‘I know he will just say he loves me and I know he does but sometimes…’ Shun quietly set his phone to still record his lover before leaving the room.

He headed to the music room took out one of the many notebooks in the desk. Turning to an empty page, he grabbed the pen and began writing. He wrote all his thoughts and feelings. He wrote his insecurities and worries down each line filling the pages of the notebook quickly. With the knowledge of writing a decent song, thanks to the witch, he filled more pages of the notebook.

When he finally finished, he already filled half the book.
