Chapter 180 - What A Mess

“Pssh,” Wen Dong rolled his eyes, “You were in love with the most famous idol in the world, had to keep your relationship a secret, watch Jin date Lisa, pretended to date Gina, and then attempt career suicide. Anything I am missing?” He smirked and Shun pushed his good friend.

“Ugh, I forgot about all that,” he rubbed his face and eyed his friend, “I cried a lot, you know.”

“Of course I know,” Wen Dong sighed, “But it isn’t complicated anymore cause now you both can do whatever you want. For me, soon Ah Ping and I will be where you are.”

Shun smiled and nodded.

“But seriously, how is our relationship less complicated than theirs?” Wen Dong whispered shaking his head, “I though straight relationship was pretty straightforward.”

Honestly, Shun had no idea. Kaiden and Taemeng did say they were going to visit later so hopefully it wouldn’t end in some sort of fight. Maybe he’d lock them in a room to work out whatever was happening between them. He looked over to see Jenell was looking at her phone and he sighed. Grabbing his phone, he snapped a quick picture and sent it to Kaiden with the caption, ‘She’s waiting.’

He received a reply that made him rub his temple.

‘Will miss today. Sorry, Ah Shun. Next time.’

Shun sighed and looked over at the blue-eyed princess. Did he have to tell her the news? Arms wrapped around him from behind and lips were pressed to the back of his ear. Smiling, Shun touched his lover’s hands and felt Jin nuzzling against him. Ah~ Jin and his loving ways…

“You look upset,” Jin commented and kissed his cheek, “What is wrong?”

“Mm,” Shun turned to Jin, “You know Kaiden and Jenell…”

“Mm.”

“Well… I think they are fighting or something. Kaiden said he wouldn’t come today,” he explained.

“Ah,” Jin glanced and the raven haired female before looking over at Lisa playing with Angel, “Lisa told me Jenell thinks Kaiden is dating someone.”

“No, he isn’t,” Shun confessed and Jin smiled.

“I know, but the paparazzi says otherwise. Kaiden will have to come clean about that female or Jenell would continue to be like this. Lisa told me Jenell dated someone before and was cheated on. This is probably what she is feeling with Kaiden, even though they aren’t dating,” Jin explained and Shun groaned wrapping his arms around his lover.

“What a mess,” he mumbled and Jin bent down to kiss his lips.

“No relationship is perfect, babe.”

He nodded and sighed. Well, hopefully Jenell doesn’t take it personally that Kaiden wasn’t able to join them. Wait, did that mean Taemeng also would not come? Just as he wondered that, the doorbell rang. The owner of Peony Studio was standing there alone with a bag of 100% cotton baby clothes and diapers for them. Shun smiled and welcomed him, but his friend’s golden contacted eyes glanced at the blue eyed princess.

“Don’t tell me you are going to do something,” Shun frowned and the dancer looked at him.

“Kaiden said he would come by tomorrow,” Taemeng decided to say instead and headed inside, nodding in greeting to Suu Jin. He headed to Star who was smiling brightly at him. Smiling back, he settled beside her to see big brown eyes staring at him.

“This is uncle Tae,” Lisa explained softly to the Angel who was sitting in between her legs, while Peter was in between Kola’s, both facing the dancer.

“He looks scary, but he is a teddy bear,” Kola smirked and the male dancer deadpanned at the babies.

“Boo.”

“…”

“Whaaaa!” Angel began crying and Taemeng was startled. He quickly tried to make funny faces hoping to calm the girl, but Angel was too busy blurring her eyes with tears. However, Peter enjoyed his face. Shun glanced over and couldn’t help the exasperated sigh. Walking over to the crying baby, he didn’t pick her up, but laid on the floor and wiped the big teardrops down her face.

“Sweetie, they are friends, family even. No need to cry,” Shun held the tiny hand, “Papa loves you,” he sang in a baby voice. He continued repeating it and Angel slowed her cries and stared at him with big watery eyes. Smiling, he moved closer to peck the baby’s nose and wiped the rest of the tears off her face.

“Ah Shun,” Suu Jin called out and Shun leaned to his left to find his lover quirking a brow at him. Confused, he wasn’t sure why Jin was looking at him with a lifted brow as if he had done something. Glancing down at Angel, he realized his predicament looked… bad. From Jin’s angle, it looked as though he was kissing Lisa’s stomach!

“It isn’t what you think!” He jumped up quickly and backed away from the female.

“What was I thinking?” Jin questioned bringing the plates with the meal he cooked on the table.

“Uh…” Shun really didn’t want to say it out loud, so he shut his mouth and offered an apologetic smile.

Jin looked amused and went to warm up the milk bottles for their babies. Shun went to finish up setting the table. Once everything was done, Jenell was feeding Angel and Lisa was feeding Peter. After burping the babies, the girls rocked the babies to sleep while the rest of them sat at the dining table. Jin and Shun were holding hands, while Ping Ping was showing off something on his phone.

“What is that?” Kola asked looking closely at the image.

“Ah Dong’s nose,” The little pinkette giggled and Kola pulled back looking disgusted.

“I never want to see Wen Dong’s nose that close ever again.”

Once Lisa and Jenell tucked the babies to bed, they ate and conversated easily.

However, Shun couldn’t help glancing at the raven haired princess every now and then. A few times, their eyes met and Shun forced himself to smile. He really hated that his friends weren’t happy and avoiding one another.. When Kaiden came by tomorrow, he would find out what the heck was going on with the two of them.
