13 Supper

Mr.Thomson ruminated of what he just heard and it appeared to be a dream,if for sure the girl turned out to be from the royal family,leave a lone the possession of the mark,they would be the most powerful business family in the world."I need to do my own investigations I can't just put all my eggs in one basket,who knows whether this boy has illusions ,after being frustrated by Betty."Thought Mr Thomson.

They arrived at the villa and as usual all the servants lined up to welcome him,Ritah introduced Henrietta ,in order not to arouse any suspicion,he didn't pay much attention.He received a glass of passion juice from Henrietta,of which he drank and headed to his bedroom.

Soon supper was ready and the family of three was all seated.Ritah and Mr Thomson served them selves,but as usual Jeremy waited for Henrietta to serve him,Henrietta was confused,how could she serve him a lone ,the parents had already scooped their own share,from what she had learnt from other servants,Jeremy always served himself,the change of habit was so sudden.She just stood there and pretended all was well.

"I'm I excluded from tonight's supper ?"Jeremy asked.

"Who said so son,the food is plenty ."Ritah answered.Ritah knew ,Jeremy wanted to be served by Henrietta,he had seen him in many occasions staring at Henrietta and at that particular moment was the time to test if indeed he was infatuated or not.She took the serving plate and before putting food in it ,Jeremy grabbed it from her hand." Mother, it's Henrietta's duty to serve me." Before even completing the sentence,Thomson gave him a quick warning glare but Jeremy ignored it."Henrietta are you going to starve me today?"

"No...no...Young master,I'm sorry I was absent minded,I will serve you right away.What appetizer do you prefer?"

"You."Jeremy answered.

"Hrrrrrk.....Hrrrrrk." Thomson chocked continuously and Henrietta was very fast enough to offer him a glass of water.

"Jeremy is a complete fool,his going to scare this girl away,I hope the girl didn't understand the hidden meaning,christ,this boy is into this girl more than I imagined,hope he will not go overboard,I have to council him."Thomson thought while eating.

"Jeremy is in love with this servant with no class,I need to talk to him.The girl will bring no benefits to our family instead she will reap from our family.No wonder he instructed Sarah to arrange for a bedroom here for her.I have to talk to my husband to stop the upcoming calamity."Ritah thought.

"What did Jeremy say? I hope I misunderstood the meaning,of late my mind is full of him."Henrietta thought while serving Jeremy .

"My goodness,why did I say that,since when did I start losing control of my speech,how I'm I going to face her know?Dad will scold me for sure,how will I explain what I just said, got out itself without my control?"Jeremy asked him self numerous questions with no answers.That night supper was eaten in silence,Thomson and the wife were the first ones to finish and they excused themselves.
