42 Love rival

Henrietta was in a good mood,she rarely ate chocolates,she was riveted in the chocolate when suddenly she heard. "bang" the door was slammed open and it ripped right against the wall.She instinctively raised her chin up and was awestruck seeing Jeremy standing before her with his jaws clenched.He spoke sarcastically. "Is this the reason you wanted to move out of forest villa in the name of you wanted space? You only left A country four days ago and you have already started receiving presents from men,you did not wait even for a second after receiving the gift and you already bounced on the chocolate and started bolting it down." Henrietta was deeply hurt with Jeremy's words,she controlled her temper and spoke softly. "Jeremy kindly leave my office."

He narrowed his eyes and grinned while saying. "I'm the CEO of this company and every thing in it belongs to make." Henrietta was infuriated she responded. "You are only an assistant ,stop bragging, it does not suit you and what I do with my life is none of your business,you said a while ago you were busy,how come you are now idle, you are behaving like a security guard monitering who comes and goes out of the premise and yes I could not wait to lay my hands on whoever showed interest in me,stop being possessive." Jeremy inserted his little finger in the ear to try and unblock it,what he heard from Henrietta's mouth was unbelievable,he thought to himself. "This brat does not fear losing her job,where does all her courage come from?" of course no one was to answer that question.

Jeremy left the office and went to find out ,who had sent the gift to Henrietta.Fred was able to meet the president and all the assignments he was given he completed them,he had two more extra days before he returned to A country.He kept thinking about Henrietta,his father was always on his neck forcing him to get married,ever since he met Henrietta he was infatuated Immediately,he made up his mind to go after her.When he called Henrietta he was received by the cold shoulder so he had to wait for her until evening inoder to see her again.He knew he had higher chances of being accepted,the gift he had sent in the morning was well received by her which was a good sign.

Jeremy was shocked when he realized Fred was after Henrietta,to make matters worse she accepted the gift from him,his chances of winning her were growing slimmer each day,he was very poor with love matters,his love rival was prince Fred,who had a upper hand in winning her in terms of wealth ,no wonder he had asked someone to investigate Henrietta.He wanted to ask his childhood friend on love matters but he changed his mind the last minute.He scrolled and searched in the internet and the results were about spoiling her with gifts,he contemplated for a while and decided not to give her anything because he feared his gift being rejected.He wondered what his ancestors had done to deserve that kind of treatment,since he was young , he recalled not to have offended anyone.

"Why did my creator allow me to become impotent at this very young age?" He asked himself multiple times, recently he had been diagnosed with hypertension due to so much stress .No one was aware apart from his personal assistant,he decided to keep the secret from everyone.Henrietta was indirectly worsening the situation,Jeremy wished he had not met her,she drove him crazy,he had developed the habit of gulping down alcohol every night to minimize the stress he was undergoing, he even began smoking.
