Chapter 6：Together, They Look Perfect

After she was calm a bit, Zoro release her from his embrace and he rummaging his backpack after that.

"Ermm, Athena. Here. I want you to look at this." he give her a see-through tablet.

"Inside is the file that I already compile. Its everything about him for the past 11 years since last you see him. Every information is in there. Do read it when you have time."

"Huh? But why?" Athena tilt her head a bit.

Zoro smile and caress her cheek softly.

"If you want to protect your marriages, start learning about your husband. He did the same to you. Since I always cover up your trace and identity he never get an info about you. Then, he did try to peeking at mine. Luckily he's not that good with the IT skill. So hmm. I do give him a little surprise though." he grinning.

Athena was surprise when she heard that Aslan try to find about her true identity. She then ask him, "So did he find anything?"

"No. But he did find our picture at the tower seeing the sunrise. But you facing your back to the camera. So I don't think he knew it was you."

"Oh.."

Zip up his bag, he stood up and wear his backpack again.

"So princess, I will be not available for a few weeks. If you need anything, just leave me a message. I will read it when I free."

"Where do you want to go?" Athena also stood up and facing him. Her eyes still a bit swollen from the crying earlier.

"I need to find my old self. Or maybe the new me. When I return back. I will turn to be your friend again. And not your lover anymore." he hugged her and kiss her forehead for awhile before he release her and went to the door.

Athena stare the floor for quite some time. She keep asking herself. 'Am I doing the right thing? Is this what I really want?'

Three months has passed.

Not a single call he get from Athena. He also didn't ask her number back then.

He start to regret that he didn't take her number. Now he totally in lost whether she already sign the papers or not. His in-law family also didn't give him a call nor his family.

While he was lost in thought, Jye Yin suddenly call him and making him startle for a bit.

He take the call and listen to her.

"Hey, in the next two days I will go to Imperial City. Do you wanna come with me?"

Aslan's heart skip a beat. Just heard a word of Imperial City will make him suddenly remember Athena's face.

"For how long?"

"Not long. Maybe two or three days. I had a concert over there and my fans based is there. So of course my agency want to make a meeting with a hundred or two fans maybe."

"Mhm?"

"Come on, tag along. It's been a while since last we going to trip together."

"I'll think about it."

"Okay..but don't take too long."

"Yeah..I got it." he ended the call.

He hesitate at first, but then he thought it'll be an opportunity for him to ask Athena about the divorce matter. So maybe they can find a solution and they will revert back to their old life?

The news about Jye Yin will returning to Imperial City for a concert make a huge headlines on the entertainment world. Most of her fans is based in Great Empire because she was originally from the Great Empire country but then she move out to Arendell and make a great names to the international by winning so many awards.

Her news about returning to the city got into Athena's attention. She knew who Jye Yin is. She is Aslan's lover and of course, one of her childhood friends too. The file that Zoro give her three months ago consist a lot of picture between her and Aslan.

All the picture looks like they were in the relationship. But none of them went to public about their relationship. Athena didn't expect for Aslan to coming to the Great Empire too.

She start her day like always. She went to her gallery outside of the house. It's a glass room looks like a garden room.

She do her work in there. Open the cloth that cover her canvas, she start to sort out her water color, paint and brushes.

Her finger start to dance on the canvas following her design in her mind. She was so absorb with the work until the it was dusk, only she stop and went to find something to eat in the kitchen

"You'll die of hunger if you keep your lifestyle like this."

Athena flinch a bit when she heard the voice. She turn to look at the person after she closed the fridge door.

"Z! You scared me." Athena throw him an apple.

Catch the apple, he bite on it.

"Hungry? Let's go eat outside."

"Emm. Wait, I need to change and take a bath first." she said and turn to look at her shirt which is already had a paint stain on it.

'Ahh..I need to buy a lot of baggy shirt again.'

"Okay. I'll wait here." Zoro went to the living room. He turn on the television and watch some soap drama which is on air right now.

Athena run to her room upstairs and took a bath.

She wear jeans jacket and black tank top inside. She just cut her hair last month with a bob shoulder-length hair style.

She look so cute with a new hair style. She take out her sneakers to put on, and then she turn to look at Zoro who still on the couch.

"Hey Z, let's go. I'm hungry." she called him.

"Ah..Okay.." he turn off the television and went to the door where she already waiting for him.

"Relax princess, don't make that hungry expression to me." he smile when seeing Athena already pouted because he was carried away with the soap drama earlier.

Both of them walk to his car parked outside her house.

In a few minutes, they arrive at the grand and fancy restaurant.

"Hmm.. I thought we will eat at the roadside stall." she said again making Zoro smile.

"Hey, you always wanna eat at that stall. Come on, we have money, so we should spend it more on expensive dish okay. We should try to change our taste once in a while too."

Sighing, she take off the seat belt.

"Okay okay.."

"So, let's go princess." he smile contently seeing she being obedient.

Walk into the grand entrance, the waitress peek at Athena's attire secretly. She didn't wear any fancy dress at all, but her face, her aura give her a majestic and noble looks. But Zoro beside her looks sturdy and handsome with his black suit and white shirt inside. Even though he just wear something formal (his work attire) he still gave a charm vibes to all girls.

Together they look perfect side by side.

"This way, sir," the waitress show them their table at the corner of the hall.

Open the menu, Zoro was the one who ordering the dinner and appetizer for both of them.

"How was your work?" Athena ask him as it's the usual conversation they had every time they hang out together.

"Busy as ever." He replied and turn his eyes to the outside glass window. Seeing the city view at night.

"Hmm."

"Hey, are you free this Saturday?" he ask her when suddenly he remember something.

"Why?"

"Let's go to the shooting center. It's been so long since last we go there right?"

Athena tilt her head a little. Thinking about his invitation.

"Hmm..Okay.." Well, she also doesn't have anything to do either on that day.

"When was your exhibition?" Zoro ask her again. He look at her works before and he immediately know that she was in the process to complete her exhibition task.

"In October."

Zoro scrunch his eyebrow. "That's only a few weeks left. Can you complete it before the due date?"

"Yeah. Don't worry. I will complete it if I have no disturbance until that day." she assuring him.

"Okay..if you need anything about your work, please do not find me. Because I have zero knowledge about it. However, if you want anything that related to IT things, you are more than welcome to come and find me." he smile.

"Hmm..thanks for the offer though."

Just after she finish said that, the waitress serve them their dinner at their table.
