Chapter 12：I’m Here, He’s There

Inside his jet, Aslan touch his lips. He start to remember back what actually happen last night.

When he return back to his hotel room this morning, he went to take a bath. While he was under the rain shower, he could see a little trace on his hand like he was fighting with someone before.

After his dizziness dissipate, his hazy mind starting to show the memory that has been erased by her.

He still don't understand why she is being the target. She is an aloof girl. She doesn't have any occupation, she lives in a medium size house. Not huge like her father mansion.

Her skill..when did she learn all of that? Why she have a complete equipment hidden in her house? Why is she taking some strange pill though? Who is she? Who are they? Why the house so clean when he woke up? Where the dead body goes? Why there is no single news about it? These question keep hunting him and make him want to know more.

But he can't act reckless. He know he need to pretend like his memory is still erased by her. He need to return back to Arendell and find all the details about it later.

Jye Yin glancing him.

"Hey..are you okay?" she ask feeling a bit concern about him being silent ever since they check out from the hotel.

He turn his eyes to her, he smile. "Yeah.."

"Uh, hey Jye Yin, do you know if Athena has gone training with grandpa Ang or not after I move out?" he ask.

"Huh? Athena? Training? Pfftt.." she want to laugh but then she hold her laugh.

"Erm..No. She was so fragile. How can a fragile and soft person like her go to training. You do know how she is, right? Her father really dote on her like she was some kind of fairy princess. And the only friend she had also call her princess too. And you know who that person is."

"But, don't you noticed that she ride a Superbike when we hang out yesterday. Her dress up and her composure also a bit different than when she was teenager."

"Hey, don't tell me you like her? Don't you remember how she reject you and how heart broken are you back then? She already had Zoro, you should move on. Open your heart to other girls than her. Don't waste your time. You don't even know if she may be already done it with Zoro or not right?" Jye Yin start to feel annoyed whenever she heard Athena's name coming out from Aslan's mouth.

Aslan startle a bit. He went silent as he remember yesterday night when she suddenly kiss him. It was so good as he could lowered his guard down because of her kiss. Is it because she always done it with Zoro? How far their relationship has gone? Is she also done it while she still his wife?

The next day,

Aslan went to his company and only return back to his mansion after midnight. He sure is busy once he back from his short vacation. It's been two days now.

Jye Yin issue is still hot in the media until his father text him reminding that he should keep a distance to any woman that will lead a misunderstanding to the Lee family.

He sigh. Rub his face, he return home.

Laying on the bed, he stare the ceiling blankly. He scroll his phone and suddenly he stop at one account, requesting his approval. The picture is a white cat with a big round green eyes. That cat somehow look like certain someone that he know. Fragile, cute and soft from the outside look. But it also fierce and do not forget, that they also had a claws that can hurt people. Even though they look so cute, they also had a fierce side.

That person only post one status in her page. "Funny on how fate and destiny made us to meet again."

The date of her status is the day of his marriage with Athena. Her information is limited. He hesitate for a moment before he finally accept her request.

Just after he accept her, one notification pop out from his screen. He swipe open it.

A waving hand emoji from the person with a name of Nike, as a goddess of Victory and it also the name of the mysterious painter. The person he just accept in his media social.

He reply with the same emoji. Not long after, she reply with a text.

'Still awake?'

'Kind of..'

'Can't sleep?'

'Seems like that..'

'Try with the counting sheep. It might help. Good luck.'

'Thanks for the idea.'

She didn't reply anything after that. Put down his phone, he tried to sleep.

Her exhibition date is around the corner, thus she need finish her masterpiece by next week. All her painting already done and have been keep by Zoro in his private vault before the exhibition start.

While she was absorb into her own world with creating the human body figure, Zoro sneaking into her gallery and surprising her from the back.

He touch her back a little, and Athena was immediately turn around want to throw her carver. She thought it was an intruder like last time.

"Whoa! Easy..girl." he grab her hand and lowered it.

"Z!! if I accidentally kill you, don't blame me!" she puff her cheek and went down from the stair stool.

"I just want to surprise you. I did not expect you to react like that." he smile and poke her puffing cheek.

"Come on. I make you some dinner. I know you didn't eat anything yet right?" he led her to the main house.

She put her carve tools and follow Zoro to the kitchen.

"When did you arrive?" she ask.

"50 minutes ago."

"Why didn't you call me?"

"I know you were busy finishing your work. So instead of calling you, it's better if I prepared you a dinner." Athena take the plate and cutlery to the table setting for two people, while Zoro put the dish he make into the plate and scoop the soup to the bowl before he bring it to the table.

Sit down to their seat, both of them enjoyed their little dinner.

"So, how your progress with your husband?" he ask, he put the slice meat to her bowl before he took his portion for himself.

"There's no progress. I'm here, he's there. So there is no way we have a progress." she munch her carrot.

"Hmm.. too bad. Why don't you just sign the paper and married me instead? I'm here, you here. So there is a lot of potential to lead a happy marriage right?" he chuckles.

Athena stop munching. She look at him "Do you…still have a hope for me to get divorce?"

Caress her cheek for a bit, he retract back and continue to eat.

"I do. But I never force you to do it. It's your own choice."

Athena suddenly feel full. She eat slowly and Zoro change the subject.

After dinner, both of them watch a movie in the living room and after the movie end, Zoro return back to his home. They live not far from each other. Zoro house only two house after Athena's house. So, basically said that they actually a neighbor.

She went to bathroom and took a quick shower before she went to bed. This is her daily routine. Every morning after breakfast she will start to do her work until lunch and only eat something leftover from the dinner or sometimes, Zoro will prepared her lunch and put into the fridge. After lunch she will continue to work until it dusk and in the night time, Zoro will accompany her after he return back from his company before she went to sleep.

It's been a week since last he saw her.

Aslan now really reach at the dead end. He couldn't find the reason why Athena is being attack. The attacker's identity also can't be trace. Athena's profile is like she never exist. Zoro? His company security is the thickest wall that no one can pass it or even make a tiny hole. He really is master of hackers.

Asking this to his father?? Erm very unlikely. If possible, he doesn't want to involved their parents in their matter. So, by hook or by crook, he really need to find the answer by making her talk.

These last two days he has been sleeping in his office settling his work because he will return back to Imperial City for a week or two. So all the work and meeting need to be done before he take off.

Jye Yin also a quite busy with the tour around the world. Her schedule is full for the next three months. With the shooting for the music video, launching a new album and the tour, she also didn't have time to hang out with Aslan.

He didn't tell her about he will be going back to Imperial City today.
