Chapter 22：What Is This Feeling?

They both had a light conversation toward each other. But, none of them asking for what exactly happens 11 years ago. About why Athena rejecting him, why did he never mention anything about his relationship with Jye Yin.

After finishing their noodles soup, Aslan pay for the food and they walk to Aslan car. Aslan had to park a little bit further from the stall since the parking space is limited around there.

Walking passing by the small alley, Athena's eyes caught an injured cat, meowing asking for the help. The cat seem like it's been splash by the hot water.

She turn to the deserted alley and walk to the cat. Seeing the cat's condition, she almost crying.

"Who did this to you?" she said with a sad voice.

When Aslan turn around, he look at Athena who already walked to the dark alley. He follow her from behind.

Athena take out a small knife from her bag, she want to use her blood on the cat, but before she prick her finger, Aslan snatch the knife and grab her hand.

"What are you doing?" he ask furiously.

"The cat..he's injured. I can help him." she said try to get the knife from him.

"No! Your life span will be shorten. There is veterinary clinic, we can bring him there." he put back the knife inside his coat pocket and when he want to bent his body to carry the cat, suddenly there is an arrow pierce the cat's body. The cat die immediately.

Athena was so shocked by the sudden arrow. Aslan grit his teeth and clench his fist. The arrow are intended for him. There is someone around them. He stand up and guarding Athena.

"There is four. No..six of them." Aslan said. Athena take out her katana handle that design by Zoro to be compact and easy to bring. Push the button, the blade came out long, sharp and shinny.

She then give Aslan her gun. "Use this."

Aslan frowned a bit, but he still take it.

Looked at the alley entrance, she can spot a barrier wave blocking the way for outsider can't see what's going on in there.

"There's barrier."

"I saw it. You take two man from the right. The rest let me take care of it." he said and as a group of man with a full-body suit jump down from the rooftop of the building.

"Huh..kill them and don't let them go. Let's count who can outnumbered them." she smile and her eyes retina change to golden glittering color.

"Hey, we have law…"

Athena start to dash to the two of the guys in front of her before Aslan could finish his sentence.

Raise up her katana using both of her hand to the right side, she swing the katana to the man with a force. One of them block her attack using a compatible shield that seem come out from their armor. While another one dodge her attack and sneaking behind her.

'High tech equip? They seem professional.' Athena duck her body when the man want to punch her from the back and kick the other one at his manhood area when he did not able to dodge.

That man block her attack and grab her legs instead. He turn to the side and he smack Athena on the stomach before he release her leg make her holding her stomach enduring the pain and she bent her body after that.

"Dammit! I just ate, you dog!" she cursed that man as both of them getting closer to her. Looking at both of their shoes, Athena swing her sword to one of man's legs as she immediately turn to the other one and slice that man's body to half.

Zasss!

Blood spurt out from both of his legs and his body start to shaking on the ground for awhile, while the other one's body already thudding on the ground, lifeless. She stood up and raise her sword high.

"You know what, you should not mess with a person who just ate their dinner!" she swing her sword and cut his head.

Her face had a splatter of blood from them. Her eyes retina did not change her color.

Once Athena start to attack the man, he had no choice. Aslan also start to dash to the four of them.

He slip the gun on his back as he intent to use his hand to knock them out.

The first punch make one man with a bow collapse down. The next two of them start to use their equipment.

Once they start firing him with a gun, Aslan took a garbage cover to be his shield. Took out the knife from the pocket earlier, he throw to their direction.

Thud!

One person bent down when the knife stuck on his hand which holding the gun.

Other one keep firing at him.

He move forward while that man take a step back.

Ting! Ting! Ting!

Athena from behind him cut through all the bullet with her katana.

"I'll cover, you go and kill him." she said.

Aslan see that her eyes turn into the gold glittering color just like that night.

Whoosh!

An arrow wounded Athena's arm a bit as she dodge and cut the bullet using her katana.

"Ahh!" Athena looked at her arm which is bleed a little.

"Athena!" Aslan want to run to her, but she shouted, halt his pace.

"Go! Don't mind me!"

She take out her other katana's handle on her thigh pocket, and use both of her hand blocking the arrow and the bullet simultaneously.

He didn't waste his time. While Athena cut all the bullet and the arrow, he run to the wall direction and flip his body so that he can block the man from behind.

Once Aslan seize the fire, she turn around and throw her katana slashing the bow and the hand of the attacker before she drag that man to kneel down along with the one who already injured because of the knife that Aslan throw to his hand earlier.

Aslan always bring his gun whenever he was out. That is why he didn't need any bodyguard when he was out. Because he surely can protect himself.

Immediately the three of the attacker's life is at their hand.

Aslan push them using the tip of the gun to move forward.

Athena raise up her sword ready to slash off their head. When she want to swing her katana, Aslan call out her name.

"Athena."

Athena flinch a bit. She blink her eyes and her eyes retina turn into normal color. Again, Aslan was a bit curious about her eyes color that can change.

"Who send you out?" Aslan ask.

The three of them refused to say anything.

"They're not from blood hunter." Athena said after she scan their whole attire. It's different from the blood hunter costume. Her eyes start to change color again.

"Who are you?!" Athena screeching with a bit loud. Making the four of them flinching.

'Wait! Did I just.. flinch?' Aslan try to keep cool.

"We..we're..not telling you." one of the man stammered a bit.

"Okay..fine by me."

Zaaasssss!

Athena slash the head of two of them with a slow and smooth swing. Aslan's jaw almost drop from it's place seeing her slashing the head.

"Athena!" he was so shocked that Athena was can be really cruel. No guilty feeling at all.

Athena ignoring him, she went to the other guy and raise her sword high. Ready to stab him on the chest.

"I'll give you a little bit special treatment before I kill you. Your last word is?"

Aslan tighten his grip on the gun. He grit his teeth. Not agreeing with the way she deal the things here.

The man who kneeling on the ground shivering strongly than before.

"It..it's Vendetta." he closed his eyes.

Athena smirk and then she change her katana's point before she stab at the man's hand and pierce his leg until the tip of her katana touch the ground and slicing the it forward.

"This should make you disable for the rest of your life." she then open up his mouth and pull out his tongue before she cut it.

The man then collapse to the ground with a blood smearing the ground.

Aslan was totally froze. He feel disgust and he feels like he hate her right now. He hate this side of her.

After she cut the tongue and the man also collapse on the ground, she release both of her katana. Her retina turn to normal color.

Clang!

She slouch on the ground, shivering as she look at her hand which is full of blood. She start to cry and trembling. She manage to find her phone and call for the Lee's agent to clean up the mess.

Aslan also slouched to the ground silently. He feel heavy. His head, his heart and everything seem to be hazy.

'What is this feeling?'
