Chapter 144: Butterfly

Without looking back he already knew who it was

"You know Rosa its not great if you keep on clinging with me like that somebody is looking at me with killing intent" Shadowslash couldn't help but shake his head seeing Rosa cling to him again

After a week of going back and forth in the B and T association he became acquainted with some of the members

For instance he now knew that the short haired receptionist was called Rosa and she was one of the top geniuses of the association

"Its okay since he could not defeat you anyway" Hearing this Shadowslash headache only grew

Shadowslash then looks at the person who was glaring at him he was called Emil a viscount noble he was the person who brought the Purple Haze Lion from before

Seeing Shadowslash looking at him Emil harrumphed while his Purple Haze Lion started shivering in fear it was looking at Shadowslash like a frightened cat

Days before this Emil challenge Shadowslash to a fight because of his jealousy towards him the challenge in which ended in one sided beat down

Since he was a tamer so was Emil they fought as tamer would by ordering their monster

Emil's monster were the Purple Haze Lion and another monster called Iron Scaled Lizard in which was a Silver Rank Level 4 monster

The one who volunteered to fight was Triple C and Don Don

Shadowslash chose Don Don and after that the whole situation became very unfavorable to Emil

The Iron Scaled Lizard became a living punching bag for Don Don to practice on each punch and kick would destroy some of its scales causing it to continuously shriek in pain

After watching this the Purple Haze Lion dared not to fight with Don Don and circle around him while spewing purple flames

Maybe its attacks affected Don Don or he was just annoyed Don Don then kicked it throwing it towards Shadowslash

The Purple Haze Lion was caught by Shadowslash and have its head buried in the ground by a punch

After that Emil would only glare at him but could not do anything

Shadowslash then went towards and arrived at a place full of monsters the only strange thing is that they were chained

This place was the garden of the association this is where the monsters being sold were kept

"Oh? you have returned once again are you going to buy another monster?" Suddenly an old voice was heard

Shadowslash nodded everyday he would go here looking around searching for something that might interest him

All the fishes and other animals living in the pond in the mansion were bought here meaning that they were a monster or have a possibility of becoming a monster

Just as he was looking around he saw a beautiful looking butterfly just fluttering around in a cage

He then scans the thing and found out it was actually a monster

Bewildering Rainbow Butterfly (Level 1) (Very Rare) (Psychic Type)

"Hey old Fresackio what monster is this" He then called for the old man taking care of everything here

"Oh? this little thing this is one of the prized possession of the association I know you are interested in this but I apologised this thing here is already booked" When the old man saw the thing that Shadowslash was asking he couldn't help but shake his head

"Well at least I could you what this thing is this monster is called Psychic Butterfly a relative of the Bewildering Butterfly this little thing has a potential in evolving into a Bewildering one of the most rare butterfly type monster" Old Fresackio couldn't help but toot his own horn when speaking about the butterfly

Shadowslash couldn't help but stare as he found the old Fresackio quite silly

'How can this be a Psychic Butterfly this is a genuine Bewildering Butterfly?' Seeing him become silent and was staring at him old Fresackio couldn't help but ask "Are you okay?"

Shadowslash then snap out of his daze he asks "Who are you selling this with?"

Old Fresackio become a bit arrogant once again "We are not selling this but gifting this to duke Fredrick's youngest daughter Effemilia"

"Its her birthday next week and the duke wanted to celebrate her birthday as grand as possible since Effemilia was also considered a niece of King Dracos"

"Oh? the duke's daughter is having her birthday next week?" Shadowslash asked curiously

Old Fresackio finally remembers that Shadowslash was still a stranger to the place so he would definitely haven't heard anything regarding about the duke's and the other important things going about in the city

"Oh right you are new here since you are somewhat a part of the association I think I should tell you about the situation in the city"

"The ruler of the land around this city is Fredrick Es Archinviel his wife is called Trishia Emis Archinviel someone who has the blood of the royalties flowing within her the duke also have 2 concubines one was a daughter of a count family while the other was a commoner but she is the most beautiful among his wives"

"From his true wife he had 2 children one is his oldest son Chris Es Archinviel and his present youngest daughter Effemiilia Es Archinviel"

"From his second wife he had one son who is called Jayson Es Archinviel and unlike his big brother this guy is known for his mischief and was branded as the black sheep of the family"

"From his third wife he have sired a twin one was called Sapphire while the other was Ruby the two look exactly alike even though they have different genders but one striking different from the two is that Sapphire has blue colored eyes and was the girl she also have the affinity towards Water Element while Ruby on the hand has red colored eyes and was the boy he has the affinity towards Fire Element"

Shadowslash nodded before chatting with old Fresackio for a while and before he left he bought two rare kinds of frog monster and told him what the butterfly really was

Returning back home he released the frogs in the pond now there were a dozen different kind of aquatic animals or monsters living in the pond

Glass Jade Frogs, Silver Fish, Crystal Shelled Turtle, Moon Fish, Yin Snakes, Colorful Pebble Crab, Dragon Head Fish, Bubble Blowing Fish, Shining Scaled Fish, Pink Glowing Newts, Red Blast Shrimp and finally Shocking Catfish

Shadowslash then put a plant in the water this plant would either hasten the Glass Jade Frogs process of giving birth or increase the number of eggs laid

Looking at Lilia who was giving it her all to train and increase control and affinity towards the Water Element Shadowslash smiled before approaching her and pats her head

This action woke up Lilia she then looks at Shadowslash curiously

Shadowslash chuckled before telling her "I know that you really wanted to grow much stronger and I appreciate your dedication but you still need to relax lets go Lunch is now being prepared by Shena"

Hearing this Lilia nodded before going out of the pond and hurriedly return back to the mansion since she still needed to change clothes

After a couple of minutes the others also return back to the mansion

The slaves that was working out with Don Don would have their lunch outside and would be delivered by other servants so is Triple C's lunch

After arriving in the place Shadowslash was always vigilant since they are slowly catching up more attention so he had Triple C become the guardian of the gate

As usual Shadowslash and the rest of the gang do not have any graceful etiquette and would just eat like beast

Other than Sans, Lilia and Herish nearly everyone was a huge glutton

Sans do not really need to eat but since Shadowslash forced him to always eat with everyone as a family he would always attend with the rest of the group

The two elf archer and Al were voraciously eating their meal unlike Herish and Lilia they would have an intense work out causing their appetite to increase

Even though the table was long and wide and was full of food in just a matter of minutes all the food was devoured

The ones who ate the most food was in the third place Don Don, second place Banjo and the first place Shadowslash

After eating everyone would take time and chat up as this was considered a type of bonding moment

Herish suddenly approached Shadowslash "Shadowslash-san can you buy some animals and released them in the garden I wanted to create a place that was like a forest in the backyard"

Shadowslash laughs and said "Even if you didn't asked me to I would do it after all other than the fact we needed to continue our supply of food I wanted to increase the number of our subordinates"
