Chapter 217: Barrier

While the knights were investigating for any clue Sans and Lisa arrives at the base of the robbers

There were no suspense whatsoever Sans destroyed the door before storming in

Lisa's job was only persuading Scar the leader of the robbers to surrender under Shadowslash's rule

To increase the temptation or more accurately to increase their fear Sans took out Rampage corpse

Seeing Rampage large corpse every robbers inside of the base paled

Scar then agrees to their condition then both of them brought Scar back to the Great Wolf Gang hideout

When they arrived at the Great Wolf Gang's hideout Scar was greatly surprised to see numerous members of different gang hanging around inside the base now the whole base was extremely cramped

Sans then lead Scar to the boss room while Lisa went to find Reggie and the wold demi-human siblings

After entering the room Scar was taken aback once more not because the leaders of nearly all the gangs inside the Slum was in the room but because of Shadowslash's horrifying presence

His presence was so great that he couldn't even breath

Suddenly the horrifying presence disappears and Shadowslash started speaking "Now that all of you are here let us start the meeting"

Everyone immediately nodded after all except for Scar everyone in the room was beaten by Shadowslash to assert his dominance

"First I would be building an underground city underneath the Slum and all of you would keep this a secret"

"Sans my subordinate here knows how to reanimate corpse with the former or no soul"

"So don't think that any of you would escape nor lie to me"

His voice might be calm but everyone inside the room except for Sans immediately felt a chill running down their spines

Shadowslash then snap his finger and Sans released his Death Qi causing everyone to become extremely pale

Shadowslash then continues "Don't be worried as long as you are loyal to me I won't do you harm"

"On the contrary I would give you a life much more better than this"

"Food, shelter, wealth and strength any of you would receive this as long as you contribute enough to my group"

All of the person inside immediately nodded they do not immediately believe the promises that Shadowslash offered to them since as long as they weren't sure a promise was only an empty talk

They accepted Shadowslash as the leader because of his strength everyone in the room including Scar knew even if they work together they do not stand a chance

Suddenly one of the small time gang leader raised his hand and asks "Boss what about the leader of the Red Dragon Gang and the Slithering Snake Gang"

"With these two gang we could not rule the entire Slum nor could we keep the project of building the underground city a secret"

Shadowslash lets out a chuckle before nodding at Sans

Sans nods as he took two things from his storage ring they were the bodies of Rampage and Poison the leader of the two great gangs in the Slum

Seeing this everyone except for Scar was stunned in silence they then look at the smiling Shadowslash then shivered in fear

Shadowslash then told everyone to warn their subordinates not to come near the pit in this following days

Of course everyone agreed immediately for them Shadowslash's words were the golden rule in the Slum

After seeing how subservient they are to him Shadowslash then had everyone leave as Sans and him went to deal their next problem

Manpower with the amount of corpse they gained they would definitely received a decent amount of workforce

Besides that Sans also told him that he would be creating two high quality undead by using Rampage and Poison's body

The place that he would be conducting his necromancy is in the pit

Not only the Pit was filled with dead bodies it was also contain numerous Death Qi and vengeful aura

Sans then left and went to deal with the undeads while Shadowslash immediately went out of the city returning back to the camp

The whole city would definitely be on an uproar in the morning so he needed to return back to the B and T association and have Gloria give him the deeds so that he could hasten his work

After arriving back to the camp he woken all the foxes up

He then told them that they needed to create a permanent illusion around the camp including the unfinished pond

Seeing the hurried look on his face all the girls immediately went to action

Shadowslash also went into the pond and told Hentai to start working

His and the foxes job were to supply an amount of their energy to create an illusion while Hentai would started strengthening it causing it to become permanent

Even though this would decrease the rate of speed of how Hentai stores energy but as long as they could create an environment that could sustain life he could use their energy to sustain the illusion

Morning came Shadowslash and all the foxes looks very haggard after a whole night of expending energy

Shadowslash then went to sleep together with the girls but he had Hentai set him an alarm an hour after he went to sleep

All of them sleep peacefully knowing that their illusion would keep people at bay

An hour later annoying buzzing sounds started sounding out of Shadowslash's head

After waking up he stretched for a bit and was about to cook breakfast for himself he smelled a delicious smell coming nearby

He looks at where it is and saw that it was Shena cooking breakfast

Shadowslash then ate for a bit before leaving of course he told Shena to leave some for him

After dashing towards the city gate he immediately went into the B and T association

The whole city's atmosphere was a bit joyful while also tensed at the same time

Shadowslash smirks and thought 'It seems that the news about the destruction of the two great gangs in the Slum is now out huh'

The commoners were happy from the disappearance of the two evil gang while some of the nobles were furious about this while some were happy

Shadowslash then arrives inside the B and T association just like outside the atmosphere inside the building varies from happiness and anger

Shadowslash shakes his head listening to some of the whispers coming from the members of the association he then walks towards Todd who as usual playing with his monster

He then immediately asks "Hey Todd is Miss Gloria inside of her office"

Hearing Shadowslash's voice Todd immediately brightens up it seems that he still don't have that many friends inside the association

Todd nodded as he lead Shadowslash towards the guildmaster's room

After that hd left since he knows that he was still not fit to join the conversation between the two

As if knowing Shadowslash was outside Gloria's voice could be heard outside of the room "Come inside"

Shadowslash then opens the door and saw Gloria playing with her monster that looks exactly like a Barrier Jewel Cat

He immediately scans the cat and was quite surprised of how powerful it is compared to other monster the same rank as it

"Two to three months top you could see the fruit of our work just by looking on the wall of the city" Shadowslash confidently said

Gloria nodded she then asks once again but this time the question made Shadowslash's heart skip a beat

"My next question do you have any relation between what happens to the two gang in the Slum"

Shadowslash immediately puts out a confused look and asks "What do you mean?"

Gloria immediately started scrutinizing Shadowslash but wherever she looks she could not find something out of place from Shadowslash's expression

She then shook her head and said "Nevermind"
