Chapter 361: qranobes-netuinn vs. luminous

Unlike her blinking ability Quinn was pure speed her blink or flash is convenient but it took a large amount of Mana to use not only that she needs to leave one of her things to blink.

Knowing that her opponent have became too strong for her she also used her trump card as light started bursting out from her body and her man disguise disappears and she became an angel.

Both beauty and physically as she grew wings in her body and she has a halo on top of her she was wielding a long staff this was her dagger but transformed.

She then waves it and numerous daggers appeared in the air the dagger images were made up of light energy they then flew towards Quinn.

Quinn flaps her wings as she flew towards Luminous her figure was extremely fast as she left afterimages behind her.

Luminous expression became extremely solemn seeing Quinn's speed she knew she would not able to manage to harm even touching her is an impossible cause right now.

She then raised her wand and shouted "Luminous Kingdom!"

A sphere started coming out of her and expanding Quinn upon entering the Luminous Kingdom she felt restricted as if something was binding her.

She harrumphed as she stomps hard and the lighting in her legs became more active as she zooms in towards Luminous.

Shadowslash eyes narrowed as her speed was actually nearly as equal to his but something made him confuse as traveling at this speed would definitely destroy Quinn and yet she decided to use it.

He then put up a energy shield in front of Luminous as he knew she wouldn't be able to block the attack.

Bam! After Quinn appeared in the opposite direction all her armors were destroyed and she was lying on the floor without Shadowslash energy covering her she would be butt naked.

Shadowslash then told Reias to announce Quinn as the winner as now realised why she had used such drastic double edged trump card in such an early fight.

It is to take her opponent by surprised the first two battle both fighters fought in a great manner before they both used their trump card to best one another.

Her situation is different as she managed to outsmart her opponent but this caused a great burden to her body but with the arena's rule she was deemed as the winner.

Shadowslash deemed her choice as wise he knocked Luminous unconscious this would definitely piss her off when she wake up later.

After all she haven't use all she got yet but to think she would lose the quickest in their group.

With Reias announcement the Heavenly Sword Sect was proclaimed the winner causing much hub hub in the arena.

The members of the Dark Triad looks depressed as they thought Luminous was going to win but the result was opposite to what they had thought.

From the condition of the two fighters Luminous was considered still healthy while Quinn's body was in a total wreck.

But those that were from the Heavenly Sword Sect and Shadowslash knew that Luminous would have been sliced into halves if it weren't for the energy barrier that Shadowslash created using his spiritual sense.

With the two groups leaving the audience also started leaving.

This was the last match of the day and it was the talk of the audience of course there were those that stress upon what Shadowslash have promised earlier.

Tomorrow would definitely much more exciting of course most of the audience thought the champion would either be from the Heavenly Sword Sect, Dark Triad or Peerless Sword Warriors.

Shadowslash then returned to the mansion thinking that the battle would be much more harder from tomorrow on.

This would definitely a great challenge for Haze's group but as long as they managed to gain the championship their overall strength would improve to a whole new level.

The next day the atmosphere in the whole city is quite boiling while also quite tense at the same time.

Shadowslash was the reason for this as each group that is participating in the tournament have undergo a change.

Those that were considered too weak for the competition were swallowed by another group or was subdued by the nobles as their fighters were replaced.

All of them were aiming for the championship they knew that the strength that the Heavenly Sword Sect and the Dark Triad have shown yesterday was a great deterrent but the rewards were just too tempting.

While the weaker groups were replaced those that were considered strong have also replaced some of their members.

Like the Tank Masters, Golden Spear Warriors and the Archinviel Adventure Group.

The Tank Masters were still being lead by Steven but there were only 3 tanks left in the group including him.

Now there were a warrior, an assassin and of course the same two archers but the mage and the assassin were quite famous warriors.

They were the second place winner Mad Woman Angela and Scarlet Assassin Cassandra both of them actually wanted to join the Archinviel Adventure Group but they were denied.

The Archinviel Adventure Group was now being lead by it's true leader.

Since yesterday the rule that the Adventurers set to their community that only younger Adventurers were allowed to fight was broken.

Now the older and experienced fighters of the group started joining the Archinviel Adventure Group had an overall makeover as except for Leon all of the other members were replaced by veterans.

The Golden Spear Warriors on the other hand seek help to their more experienced warrior they also seek help from their close friends as their team competition is now consist were two archers, a mage and four spearmen.

The two archers were a close friend of Zielong and his older brother even though the two archers weren't considered one of the strongest they still could put up a fight to those of the top and with Zielong and the other two elite spearmen tanking they could attack with ease.

Not only that the mage in their party is considered one of the top known mage in the city with the power to compete with one of the top ten Adventurers in the city.

The first battle would be raffled and if the two teams chosen have already fight then they would have to be reshuffled.

With Reias as the announcer everyone looks at her in anticipation while those that were participating were looking at her in nervousness.

The tension is quite high but this is understandable as even Zielong knew that most of the groups that have participated today is much more stronger than the past competition.

With the shuffle being started the tension rise and with the stop of the shuffle Reias took two papers she then read them out loud.

"Days By Gone!"

"Dragon Fighters!"

When the two group heard their group name announced they heaved a sigh of relief as neither of them were famous and both of them have even chance.

The two groups then went forward into the stage as the two group looks at each other and those that saw the members of the group in the previous round they were startled by the fact that the two group doesn't have the same members before.

Those that were knowledgeable immediately realised what happened to the former members they were either coerced or forced to retire from the competition as the members of both group came from two noble house.

Since the competition have undergone the name and the number of Adventure Groups that participated cannot be changed so the only method to join is to replace any existing group in the competition.

Both groups immediately started fighting with Reias's signal they fought with vigor the audience were happy to watch but not as excited as yesterday as they saw the fight is only above average at least.

Also both groups wouldn't use their trump cards as long as they weren't pushed to a corner or any drastic event like the championship fight.

After a couple of minutes the group Days By Good lost but judging from their reaction they still haven't used their all.

With the first battle finished Reias once again spin the wheel as she shuffles the cards once again tension rised.

And with the shuffle stopping Reias calmly picked two papers once again.

She then announced the name of the group and this caused a gasp to the audience as they pitied one of the group.

"The Silent Night!"

"Peerless Sword Warriors!"

This was a sure lose and even the group that was chosen knew this but they refused to accept defeat that easily.

They were one of the group that managed to keep their position but they agreed to work for a certain noble family and the power of the group was enhanced because of the upgrade of their equipment and with the support of potions and pills.
