Three years later, rhenium has never been found except for a few derived minerals.

In the thermal cycle test of traditional superalloy, when the room temperature increases rapidly to 2200 ℃, the nozzle has to be scrapped after repeated several times.
However, the high temperature resistant alloy containing rhenium can withstand the quintic thermal fatigue of 10 in similar tests without failure.
Draw a key point. It's not 10 times, it's the fifth power of 10.
It can be seen from this that rhenium's high temperature resistance, continuous stability, and its own strength and tolerance are strong. Precisely because of this, this kind of rare metal is regarded as an important strategic material by the Americans. The refining method, smelting and purification, and the final alloy ratio are completely confidential. As for technology transfer, the export of finished products is even more difficult.
Therefore, for many years, there has been no research on Rhenium in China, so that many people do not know what they can do except know that there is such a thing in the periodic table.
It was not until the collapse of the Soviet Union and some Soviet experts were employed in China that the aviation industry knew that rhenium, which was added to nickel base alloys and other superalloys, would increase the thermal endurance temperature of these superalloys by 300 to 500 degrees Celsius, and at the same time, the strength and service life would be doubled.
This is what attracts the attention of our country.
It's not that the relevant domestic institutions are slacking off. The main reason is that the Soviet Union did not do much research in this field. As soon as it started, the Soviet Union collapsed. As a result, a lot of smelting, proportioning and manufacturing were just beginning to show some concern, and the whole research and development process was interrupted because of the decline of the country.
That is to say, there is still a long way to go before the superalloy containing rhenium can be produced.
If so, at least not from scratch, save a lot of energy, if willing to spend money, it's not difficult to take out. The problem is that there is a dilemma that can't be avoided, so that domestic spending will be wasted.
But this is nothing else, that is, there is no rhenium deposit to be mined in China.
More precisely, the domestic precision smelting technology is not up to standard, and it is unable to extract metal rhenium from the derived rhenium ore, and there is no such kind of aggregate associated rhenium ore, which makes the domestic aviation industry fall into an embarrassing situation that it is difficult for a skillful woman to make a meal without rice.
Otherwise, Tengfei group would not have paid a high price of $150000 for 20 kg of rhenium.
However, it is worth the money, because after more than one year's research and test by the Institute of Aeronautical Materials of Tengfei group, adding 9.7% rhenium to the nickel base alloy with 6 MW core, the maximum temperature of the alloy will be increased from 1020 ℃ to 1382 ℃, if combined with film cooling technology, heat-resistant ceramic coating technology and other composite high temperature resistant materials After treatment, the high temperature resistance will be further increased to 1547 ℃.
This is not the most critical. Tengfei group is preparing to apply the aluminum titanium alloy to the third generation of 15 MW core aircraft and the fourth generation of 27 MW core aircraft, because the addition of rhenium has finally broken through the technical bottleneck for many years and made substantial progress.
According to the latest experimental results of the Institute of aeronautical materials, for example, the strength of Al Ti alloy with 16.7% rhenium is increased by 320%, the heat resistance temperature is increased from 1100 ℃ to 1563 ℃, and the service life is 2.6 times that of the nickel based alloy commonly used today.
Moreover, it is lighter and more efficient, that is to say, in the future, the fuel economy of the aeroengine with Al Ti alloy will be higher.
Such a good thing, Tengfei group is eager to use it in its own aeroengine immediately.
However, the smelting process of rhenium fusion is very high, and the laboratory is OK, but the industrialization is far from meeting the mature requirements. Moreover, the addition of 6.7% is really large, and the cost is not good.
Of course, the most important thing is that the domestic rhenium metal ore can not meet the demand of large-scale production, so in recent years, Tengfei group has been putting rhenium containing heat-resistant alloy in the laboratory to do all kinds of forward-looking experimental research, and has not been put into production urgently.This also made Lin Guanghua's 5000 km extended range version of the trj-500 unable to land for a long time. There was no way. The turbofan engine with a thrust of 6.5 could not be taken out for a long time, and the trj-500nb could only be wiped out on the drawing.
Now, two trj-500s and eight trj-500s of the same type have been leased for 10 years in exchange for the associated rhenium ore which is easy to smelt. Lin Guanghua only thinks that this business is too valuable.
Let alone these, even if it is quadrupled, Lin Guanghua feels that he has made a lot of money.
As long as the rhenium in this mine is mastered by Tengfei group, within two years, the second generation nickel base superalloy, which has been studied by the Institute of Aeronautical Materials for several years, will be put into mass production, and then the second generation 6 MW core machine will land, and the 6.5 ton thrust turbofan engine will be put into operation in the cotton aviation power plant immediately.
With the engine, let alone the 5000 km trj-500nb, or the 10000 km trj-500zb, it's a matter for pediatrics, because the second generation core aircraft landing, 6.5 tons of thrust is only for pediatrics, and the 7.5 tons or even 8.5 tons of large bypass ratio turbofan engine comes down from the production line of aviation power plant just like xiajiaozi.
At that time, trj-500nb and trj-500zb can only be considered as brothers, and trj-700 and trj-900 of 80 to 120 seats are the best works of Tengfei group!
How can Lin Guanghua not beat his heart, how can he not be excited when he gets the metal elements that are so important to Tengfei group that they almost decide the fate and future!
But Lin Guanghua's hard to hide excitement is envious in the eyes of outsiders. They don't know the content of the agreement, let alone the rhenium mine involved. However, they see that the staff of embassies and consulates from six countries are crowing with stars, and they usually put their contracts into Lin Guanghua's hands.
