Li Bingbing glared at the men that were approaching her. If it was only one man, she would have able to take care of them in no time but they were two. If she attacked one, the other would have held her down.

She tightened her hold on her mother's hand, she was not willing to leave her mother but she needed to think of something to deceive her father. "Wait."

The men stopped when Li Hua motioned them to do so.

"I won't be coming with you without anything in return." Li Bingbing stated.

"Bingbing..." Mu Xijiu looked at her in worry.

"This house will be yours." Li Hua said as he rested his back against his seat.

Li Bingbing rolled her eyes and scoffed, "Ha! Are you trying to make me laugh? This house is nothing, you can buy this and we can just move to somewhere else."

"How much do you want?"

Just before Li Bingbing can answer, they heard the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it." Li Bingbing let go of her mother's hand and was about to walk toward the door but she was stopped by Li Hua's men.

She snickered at them, "Do you think I will run away and leave my mother here?"

"Let her go."

Hearing Li Hua's orders, the men moved aside and gave her way.

As Li Bingbing approached the door, she was trying to think of ways to deal with her father. When she opened the door and saw Xia Sinian, her eyes lit up as if she thought of something wonderful.

"You left this..." Xia Sinian said while carrying the small teddy bear they bought earlier.

"Oh, thank you, Sisi." Li Bingbing smiled as she took the stuffed toy before she gave him a hug.

Xia Sinian was surprised by the sudden hug she gave him but he snapped back to reality when he heard what Li Bingbing whispered in her ears.

She leaned back and smiled, "See you tomorrow, Sisi."

After that, Li Bingbing closed the door and placed the stuffed toy on top of the paper bag.

The smile on her face disappeared as she went back to the living room. "You were asking how much it'll cost for me to go with you. Give my mother two million, aside from that you are never to show yourself in front of my mother, ever again."

"Li Bingbing!" Mu Xijiu was about to rush to Li Bingbing's side but she has been blocked by Li Hua's men.

Li Hua chuckled, "That's easy." He took out his checkbook and wrote two million on it before he signed it. He tore it from the checkbook and placed it on the coffee table.

" I don't want your money! Li Hua, don't take my daughter!"

The men tried holding Mu Xijiu down since she was starting to resist their hold.

"Mom, it's alright." Li Bingbing gave her a reassuring smile.

Mu Xijiu's lips were stretched into a thin line as she watched her daughter sacrifice herself.

Li Hua stood up and walked toward Li Bingbing, "Well then, we should get going. We still have dinner to catch up."

"Let me say a proper goodbye to my mother one last time." Li Bingbing said without looking away from her mother.

"Make it fast."

Li Bingbing went to her mother and gave her a hug.

Mu Xijiu burst out in tears as she hugged her daughter tight, "Bingbing, please don't do this... don't leave me..."

Li Bingbing patted her back gently, "I'll be back soon, don't worry." She whispered gently in her ears before she pulled away. She reached out and wiped her mother's tears away as she smiled gently at her, "Mom, this is not the end, okay? We will see each other soon."

"Bingbing..."

Li Bingbing turned away and followed Li Hua out of their place.

"You shouldn't make empty promises to her." Li Hua commented.

Li Bingbing didn't say anything, instead, she went in the car with him.

"Stop acting immature, you should act more like a proper lady."

Li Bingbing snickered inwardly. Oh? So she's acting immature? She'll show him how immature she is then... later.

Hearing no response from his daughter, Li Hua continued, "You'll be meeting your fiance tonight, if you don't want your mother to be ruined then you better behave yourself."

Fiance? Li Bingbing furrowed her brows together when she heard this from him.

She turned to him and raised a brow, "Oh and now you're deciding who I should be marrying?"

"He's the son of my business partner. Don't worry, he's a young and good man, you'll have an easy life with him, you won't have a problem when it comes to money either. You'll like him."

"You think I'll like him?" Li Bingbing raised a brow.

Now she understood why her father wanted to take her. He was planning to use her for his advantage.

This arranged marriage was to strengthen the bond between the two companies and since Li Bingbing was Li Hua's daughter, she was the perfect candidate for this arranged marriage since his child with his new wife was still too young.
