152 Chapter 152:

Name:The Ace Author:_Insidious_
Ace went back home at about 2 in the morning. The others were still doing their own thing, but Ace was beginning to get bored, so he decided to go back to the hotel, and get a little bit of sleep, in order to recharge his batteries.

***

After a short three hour nap, Ace was out of the hotel, dressed in some sportswear. He was going out for a run. He ran quite fast. He was attempting to truly tire himself out, since it had been a while since he had done so. He ran for about two hours, keeping a constant yet demanding pace, using the chance to observe the different people that were out and about at this time.

Some were still partying, while others were healing to work. He also saw about three people passed out on the street, and Ace even had to call an ambulance for one. It was a guy that was stranded in an alley, and he had foam coming out of his mouth. He turned out to be ok, but the paramedics still thanked him for calling, since someone alone in an alley, knocked out, was a gateway for crime.

After the two hour run, Ace was absolutely destroyed, and even felt like puking. Through it all, however, he was happy, he realised how much he had improved over the months, and this test was a clear proof of that.

He had a shower, contracting his muscles and loosening them individually, in order to exercise his control, as well as boost the gains from one session of exercise. Then, after drying up and changing his clothes, he felt great, and headed downstairs for an early breakfast.

The attendant was already there, and smiled when she saw Ace, "How can I help you this morning?", Ace grinned, and said, "I want to have some breakfast, is it ready? If you want, I can come later…"

"No!", she exclaimed, "Do not worry, let's go get you a nice table, hmm?", Ace nodded, and followed the caring woman to a table for one, that faced the window, and had amazing views of the city. "Here?", she asked, and Ace nodded, thanking her once more, "So, dear, what do you wish to eat?", Ace thought over, and told her, "Some fried eggs, and some pan-fried fries, a glass of water with ice, and a natural orange juice."

She nodded, "How many eggs?", Ace thought for a second and said, "Three, please.", "Coming right up.", she smiled, and walked away.

Ace took out his tablet, and began to read the news, then got on social media, and browsed the happenings until his food got there. Once it did, he set up a video on sleight of hands, to watch while he ate, and enjoyed his food.

"Wow, what time did you wake up?", Noelle said, still in her pyjamas, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. It was eleven in the morning, and she probably did not expect anyone to be awake yet.

"At about 5, I went for a run, and had breakfast some time ago.", she widened her eyes, probably surprised at his response, considering they had been partying for a long time.

"Well, don't worry, your secret is safe with me.", Ace smiled softly, and Noelle widened her eyes, as he realised what he was talking about, "I-I am sorry for y-yesterday."

Ace shook his hand, waving the statement away, "Nothing to apologise for, no one remembers right?", he said, and winked at her.

Noelle smiled, relieved, even if she was still slightly blushing. "You should get some breakfast and change your clothes and have some breakfast, then, we can prank the others, tell them they slept for two whole days or something.", she giggled at that, and nodded, running up to the elevator. It was only once she saw herself in the mirror, that she realised she was still in her pyjamas, and blushed as she looked at Ace, who just laughed out loud, finding her reactions hilarious.

It was at about three in the afternoon, that Ace began to get calls from everyone who was not in the hotel - which meant everyone apart from Noelle. They were all fine, but seemingly had terrible hangovers. Even Igor. It seemed that he had ended up doing shots of Vodka with random people in a bar, and drank them all to the ground, but soon dropped himself. This seemed to be a normal occurrence, as the bar manager let them 'sleep' there. Supposedly, the etiquette was to then tip him generously, as he ensured that nothing was stolen, and that everyone was safe. Ace was surprised, but then figured out that it was a wonderful business model.

When people were planning to get absolutely sh*tfaced, they would go there, and spend a large amount of money on alcohol, since they knew that they would be safe if they passed out.

Furthermore, the bar opened late in the night, which meant the owner still had time to get a good sleep in, since by 4 in the evening, everyone was already gone.

Ace congratulated the man in his head, he had built a reliable customer base, along with a wonderful reputation, due to a simple service he was able to offer.

At first, most people would be worried about the safety of the whole thing, but the truth was that this man had taken care of countless famous and influential people, who came to Vegas in their young age, knowing what they were looking for. This meant that no one who knew anything dared to mess with him, since if he called a few favours, the whole might of countless influential people would drop among you.

The others were in random houses, probably of people they had ended up with at the end of the night. Once he knew they were all woken up, he told them that there would be parties the whole week, which made a few of them quite happy.

They were ready for more fun, and would probably come back to the hotel before, in order to change clothes.

Hmmm, so, what should I do today? Skating? Casino? Arcade? Parkour? Or a mix of everything…', Ace thought over what the different options for his activities for the day were, and then decided to stream for a while in the arcade, and then maybe go to one of the various skateparks that were dotted around the city.

With his plans decided, he changed his clothes, and then grabbed his skateboard. Taking the already tried and tested route down to the arcade. He had all his gear in his backpack, and was ready to rumble.

It was an uneventful day at the arcade, the viewers enjoyed the streams very much, and he won everything he tried, farming enough credits to get another of the things that caught his eye. A poker chip, that was actually fully metallic, in an onyx black colour, with an Ace symbol in the middle. It also had a small hole for a thin chain to slide through, and he put it on immediately.

He packed up all his gear neatly, in a surgical and orderly fashion, then put on his backpack, and walked out of the door. Skating to one of the parks that looked promising but he had not been at yet.

'Let's see what I can find here.'
