I mustered all the strength left in my trembling arms and carried the woman inside the guard post and gently put her in. There was enough space for two people but I did not want to sleep with her. Who knows what she would do to me if I was still asleep.

I don't even know why I thought of coming here. After all there were certainly more places where there is more space and less dangerous.

What does the ??? mean. Does that mean like its a hidden objective. This is probably a chain quest. Though I don't understand what it means by initial stage of byakugan. I will probably understand more if I just check the byakugan from my skills tab or will it have its own specific tab.

I thought skills tab and put it in order of the latest additions. I found the byakugan right behind

Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu. I will check that after checking the byakugan.

Byakugan (Initial Stage) (Active) Lvl: 1

Description: This dōjutsu usually is manifested as very distinctive eyes, characterised by their enlarged and featureless white irides with no pupils. In Mukai Hizashi's case, his diluted bloodline makes it so that only when the byakugan are activated will the white irides manifest but the prolong use can cause the eye to permanently look that of the hyuga.

- Prolonged use of the Byakugan causes severe but temporary eye-strain

- The Byakugan gives a near 360º diameter field of vision, with one blind spot at the back of the neck above the first thoracic vertebra.

- Its vision can penetrate through any solid objects or obstructions and likewise remains unaffected by blinding interferences

That was very descriptive but that does not explain what the initial stage thing is about. Well since the system is not explaining itself and since I do not have the answers to this, I will just leave it for now.

Now then let me see Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu.

- The user kneads chakra in their body and turns it into fire, which they then expel from their mouth

- The more chakra they use, the more flames that are produced

- Against living targets, the fireball can cause extensive burns

- They lack specific shape and chakra comes out as a stream of fire

This is pretty cool but I still don't want to learn this jutsu and have a death match with birdbrains.

Why did birdbrains even target me? I did nothing high profile for them to even attack me and even if I did the people behind birdbrains would have tried to recruit me instead of killing me. Kill... It wasn't me they were after.

No they were after my parents. An earthquake after my parents was murdered, and the only place that got destroyed was my place?. Now the question is why and who. This most likely related to when my parents were still ninja. This organisation is probably a secretive o... I am dumb. Of course it would be secretive.

I mean what organisation would clearly try and murder three people and destroy their house and get away with it would be public. This is not some scapegoat thing and that we were randomly chosen because my father, he may not be strong. He was fairly famous not because of his strength but because he is a hyuga descendent with no byakugan.

This organisation is so secretive in fact that the hokage does not know about them. For know I should forget about the organisation until I am strong enough to fight them and focus on getting stronger while at the same time gather clues on what did my parents do on getting the attention of this organisation, the investigation has to be done secretively or else I will be killed before I get my revenge.

I did notice as I fell asleep lost in my thoughts that the woman was awake and watching him.

This is quite nice if he put he here knowing that it was my shift especially after I tried mugging him while drunk. Though the thing that is more surprising was that he knew it was my shift and that he had enough strength to carry me.

Why is the kid sleeping there. Doesn't he have a home. Even if he was tired he would have still gone to his house. Which begs the question why is he here, in training ground 44. Even kids know not to go here and that is if they know how to get it here.

I will have to ask Hokage sama about this kid but first lets get him into my apartment. He clearly can't sleep here.

"Ugh, damn gaki, so troublesome" I accidentally said out loud before picking the kid up by his collar.
