All eyes were on Su Han as silence filled the room. The middle-aged man looked to be kneeling towards Su Han.

“Su Han, what are you doing!”

All of a sudden, Director Liu screamed out like a mad man. Flustered and exasperated, he vented his displeasure on Su Han. “Cut the crap!”

It was a fact that the elder could not be saved. With the family accepting this fate, the hospital would not be held liable. However, Su Han’s statement had put the hospital at risk.

Director Liu was delirious. Where did this knucklehead come from? This naive guy was already stirring trouble for the hospital on his first day!

“I can save him.” Su Han lifted his head to look at Director Liu. He already took a few glances at the elder when the latter was pushed into the emergency room. The old general’s decline in vital energy and blood was not because of his old age but rather the buildup of his old wounds, weakening the bodily functions. These were telltale signs to Su Han.

“Shut up!” Director Liu coldly snorted. Itching to kick Su Han out, he clenched his teeth and said, “What do you know? You’re just a guy who hasn’t graduated from university! Stop causing trouble here!”

The two senior professors were taken by surprise for a moment but soon shook their heads at the sight of Su Han’s tender face.

“Youngsters nowadays are really naive.” One of the senior professors shook his head with disdain. “You don’t even know the patient’s illness, how could you brag about saving him?”

The other senior professor was offended. They, as senior professors were unable to save him yet this young man boldly claimed otherwise, implying that their skills are inferior to his.

“Young man, you talk big, don’t you know that it’ll be more than you bargained for!”

Before Su Han had a say, Director Liu walked over and pushed him. Director Liu furiously chided, “Get lost, don’t stir any more trouble. Who are you trying to cause harm to?”

“So you’re going to sit by and watch the old general die?” Su Han broke away from Director Liu and shook his head. He was only trying to help seeing that the old general dedicated his life for the country in his younger days but these people were out to stop him.

“Shut up!” Director Liu grew enraged out of embarrassment.

“You should be the one to hold your tongue!” The prominent figure stood up, threatening Director Liu to silence.

Director Liu had a grudge on Su Han. All was well and done until this b*stard… oh boy, he was bringing the entire hospital down with him!

“You can save my father?” The middle-aged man solemnly stared at Su Han. He saw no other way out at this point. What choice did he have when it was out of the hands of the two senior professors.

This Su Han was too young for him to trust. Was this guy better than the two senior professors?

“The reaper wouldn’t dare take away the lives that I want to save.” Narrowing his eyes, Su Han’s face lit up with confidence!

“You sure talk big!” Professor Old Xu snorted and swung his arm. He fixed his gaze on Su Han. “You said you’re able to treat him, why don’t you show us old folks how it’s done?”

He was also feeling bitter. Old Xu had never been looked down upon by a junior after having lived his life for a long time.

Ignoring the two senior professors, the middle-aged man took a deep breath in before staring at Su Han with blood-shot eyes. “You have to be responsible for your words.”

Su Han stared back at him without uttering another word. He turned and pointed at the pretty little nurse. “I need an assistant.”

Pointed out, the pretty little nurse immediately walked over in a timid and anxious manner. Why was she involved in this?

She recognized this prominent figure. He was not someone she could court trouble with.

If Su Han were to fail, then she…

The surrounding little nurses had nothing but pity for her. That brat went overboard by stirring up trouble and dragging others into it.

With a calm face, Su Han lifted his head to look at the two senior professors before throwing a remark. “Seniors, you can come along and watch if you don’t believe me.”

Su Han moved in with the little nurse following behind. The two senior professors were left coldly snorting. They were not convinced at this point.

The middle-aged man could not be bothered with anyone else. He arranged men to be on guard on the outside, banning anyone from entering while he made his way in.

The old general lay on his sickbed with a pale face. The pathological monitors around were showing signs of stability. It was obvious that the old general was at death’s door by his weakened breathing.

“Vital energy and blood are declining and his internal organs are failing. The old general had sustained many internal wounds during his youth. It’s not easy to save him.” Professor Old Zhang shook his head with a face of regret.

“Silence!”

Old Zhang’s face turned flushed red at the sudden cry. Was he just told off by Su Han?

“I’m about to begin. Don’t disturb me!” Su Han seemed to have taken another persona as he adopted an airy bearing.

After instructing the little nurse to strip the old general’s clothes, Su Han gently lifted his hands…

Old Zhang was about to run his mouth when he felt a sharp pain on his arm. Old Xu who was standing beside him grabbed onto Professor Old Zhang’s arm like a puffed-up cat. “The Mystical Qi Finger!”

Old Zhang was experiencing shortness in breath from the excitement and emotions as though he had seen some sort of treasure!

He cast a steely glance at Su Han, gulping and widening his eyes without blinking.

“Old Xu? What’s the Mystical Qi Finger?” Surprised by Old Xu’s reaction, Old Zhang asked.

Old Xu continued to stare as Su Han extended two fingers with faint Qi circulating at the fingertips. He was on an adrenaline rush!

“The Mystical Qi Finger is a divine medical skill in ancient medicine. It’s said that those who mastered it to the extreme are capable of resuscitating the dead. It really is the Mystical Qi Finger! It really exists!”

Su Han turned to throw a glance at Old Xu before commenting. “You know your stuff.”

He imagined Old Xu to flip out after the comment. It never crossed his mind that Old Xu would become extremely proud like a child that was complimented.

Old Zhang wanted to continue the conversation but everyone stopped talking as Su Han began the rescue.

The middle-aged man stood quietly at the side, overwhelmed with nervousness. However, Old Xu’s words and reaction gave him confidence that perhaps this young man was capable of saving his father.

Stretching out a finger with a faint Qi circulating at the tip, Su Han gently sketched over the old general’s body. Visible to the naked eye, the old general’s muscles began to jolt following the movement of Su Han’s finger.

Sounds of cracking could be heard at each joint!

The mysterious yet miraculous sight left everyone on-site in a state of shock, especially Old Xu whose facial hair curled up.

Mystical Qi Finger! The Mystical Qi Finger!

Su Han remained a relaxed demeanor as though he was performing an ordinary task. It was long before he retrieved his finger. He then instructed the little nurse to fasten the old general’s clothes and announced in a soft voice, “It’s done.”

With that, the flatlined ECG came on with a beep and regained pulsation.

“Thump!”

“Thump!”
