Chapter 52 - Beg Me

Baby returns with his brothers and trusted right-hand men John, Simon, Justin, and Benson

"Who is beta Macgregor?" Leo asked Baby who was approaching the hut.

"Beta Macgregor? Um, he is an old member of the moon pack but I was told he left and recruits newbies as his pack members. What about him? Have you guys find anything about Nancy's whereabouts" He resorted.

"No they are still on it," Leo said as he points at Roland, Norinika, and Deminika, who are still in the position they were in 30 minutes ago.

"Beta Macgregor has Nancy". Leo inform.

"What? How and why?" Baby howls.

"You should know why" Leo shrugs.

Norinika was bleeding from the nose, she has used too much of her inner powers in a day. She has reached her limit. Next, it was Deminika who starts to bleed. Roland still had his eyes closed and chanting.

"Baby, this must be a trap, beta Macgregor is looking for a way to bring you out of the pack. He's just looking for a way to become an alpha. Don't offer it to him on a silver platter" Simon opine.

"Stay behind we will bring Nancy back to you unharmed" John suggested

"You guys mean I should hide because if I go he will kill me? Is that what you think of your alpha?" Baby howls.

"If he wants war then he's going to have one. I'm going myself" Baby hollers.

"I'm coming along to" Leo offered.

Roland cough out blood which made everyone concerned but he didn't stop chanting.

"Stop him Nika, he's going to hurt himself" Deminika muttered.

"He's almost done just a few more minutes," Norinika said

Roland cough blood again.

"That's enough stop!" Betty cried. Just then Roland open his eyes.

"Follow me, I know where she is being held," he said as he stood up from the mat, everyone was relieved he was fine they are set off to rescue Nancy with Roland leading them.

"Hello, my slave eat something" a deep voice echoed in the darkroom awaking me.

I opened my eyes to see fresh meat tights placed on leaves with blood still oozing out of it.

I felt disgusted almost throwing up.

"My bad, I forgot you are human," he said as he grabs the meat and he starts to eat it as if he was eating fried chicken.

"I will have it for you then," he said as he exit the room. I could hear the sound of him locking the door. I tried to look for a way to escape but there was no way.

There was a very small window at the top which helps the moonlight shine in the room.

I swiftly pushed the leaves with the blood-stained away and folded myself at the corner. I was crying for help inside just hoping someone will come to rescue me.

"Oh no! What do we do? Nancy's mum is calling". Betty said freaking out.

"Answer it," Baby said.

"And tell her what? That her sick daughter is kidnapped by some crazy-ass wolf because of you?" Roland roars.

They couldn't decide on what to do till the phone stopped ringing.

"Hey Nancy, I will be doing a night shift. Will you be okay being alone for tonight?" Her mother texted her. Tipping her fingers on the phone.

She was relieved when she got a text back.

"No problem mum, I will just sleep over at Betty's place, love you". She found the message strange. Nancy will never want to sleep anywhere else other than her own bed.

"She must be scared now that Travis is gone" Cindy whispered as she puts the phone back into her pocket and resume her duties.

"Thank goodness she didn't suspect anything" Betty let out a whim.

As they continue traveling in the deep dark woods with the moonlight their only source of light.

"Alf…." There was a loud noise as Baby and the rest fall to the ground feeling dizzy.

"What is happening to them?" Betty muttered.

Norinika checks and realized they have been poisoned with wolfsbane.

"It wolfsbane…" she muttered.

"It's a kind of poison for werewolves but there will be fine after some time. It is in need of a trap. We are almost close, I guess we will have to save Nancy by ourselves" Roland announced as he triples over Baby on the ground.

"H-help witch" Baby yells.

"You are still arrogant even when you need my help" Roland scoffs.

"You can't save Nancy all by yourself, so think of her only and help us" Baby resorted.

"Beg me then" Roland demanded.

"What!"
