Chapter 123 - Freeze Time

Nancy's POV

I swap my hand as I tried to catch every single drop of rain that was frozen up in the air, it's felt so good to be the only thing moving when everything else was frozen.

Just then I heard a voice that startled me,  "amazing Nancy, you did great if you keep up with this rate, you will discover amazing things you can do, now you can freeze time," the voice said.

"Nico is that you, is this possible? how was I able to do this?" I asked looking for him.

"You have no idea the things you can do,  there is so much more for you to discover and you're on the right track, keep it up," he said as he walked away.

I swap my hands and it started raining heavily again, I was wet, I decided to go back to my room, I happily change myself into new clothes.

I couldn't wait to discover all the powers I have and what I can do with them. I slip into bed and covered myself with the blanket.

Zenab's POV

I woke up early before Sharon, she was soundly asleep when I left the room to my study.

Before I could settle down behind my desk there was a knock on the door, the guards then announce the presence of Princess Shelly. I hope she is not here to make another complaint.

"What brings you here?" I asked without looking at her.

"My prince, I have good news for you," she grins happily.

Is she fed up and wants to leave the palace? I thought with my eyes fix on the monitor.

"What is it?" I asked still not looking up to her.

"The royal midwife just confirmed it, I have taken seed, my prince, finally," she said happily trying to control herself from throwing herself at me.

"That's good princess Shelly, well done I'll have the royal treasury reward you," I mumble now looking at her forcing a smile.

"Thank you, my prince," she said as she excuse herself, finally I can get rid of the rest and grandma will let me breathe as if it was a plan there came another knock on the door, I frowned when Princess Molina walks in.

"What brings you here Molina?"

"I have good news, my prince," she giggled.

"Good news? don't tell me you have also conceived?" I asked her with my eyes widened up.

"Yes my prince, how did you know? I'm so happy finally we are going to have a child, the next crown prince of Zamuniland," she said with a smile.

"That's great Molina, you have done well, I'll have them reward you awesomely," I said as she happily walks away.

Oh no, this can't be happening how is it possible both got pregnant at the same time?

Lost in my thought a knock on the door interrupted me, without waiting to be announced Sharon trekked in.

No, please don't tell me Sharon is also pregnant I cry.

Sharon walks closer to me as she stares at me completely in a daze.

"can I come in?" she giggled waving her hands in front of me.

"Yes, you are already in," I mumble getting up from my seat.

"what? you should be happy I just heard Shelly and Molina are both pregnant," Sharon said happily with a charming innocent smile on her face.

"Aren't you sad you haven't conceived yet?" I asked concerned standing in front of her.

"Why should I? Have you seen a baby giving birth to a baby before?" she jokes walking about in the study.

"Really, you mean that?"

"yes I'm happy actually, finally we can have some joy in the palace," she mumbles.

I was surprised she was indeed happy and not troubled she wasn't pregnant like the others.

I became suspicious she's from the tribe that deals in herbal medicine, is she's taking medicine not to get pregnant?

"Sharon!"

"Yes,"

"look at me," I ordered.

"Okay I'm looking at you," she replies still looking away.

"Hey, are you on any kind of drug?" I pout.

"What kind of drugs?" She rumbles.

"Don't play around Sharon? I'm serious are you taken any medicine in order not to get pregnant?" I said looking at her anxiously.

She looked confused, "No I'm not," she whispers.

"Don't lie to me Sharon, I know your mother is one of the best herbal medicine practitioners in the land, I'm sure you have learned a few skills from her so tell me the truth now else I won't be able to protect you, if you are been find out your entire family will be put to death," I said reminding her of the obvious.

"No my prince, I wouldn't dare," she answers sharply.

"Besides God knows I can't be a mother so she didn't bless me with a child," she grins, "I want to go horse riding," she added.

"seriously go back to your chamber, I have a lot of work to do," I snap.

"Come on at least promise me you will take me when you have the time," she sobs.

"I can't promise you anything Sharon just go back to your chamber and be a good girl, I don't want to hear any complaints about you now that the princesses are pregnant," I hissed going back to my desk.

"Yes yes yes I wouldn't get into trouble," she mumbles.

"go now I have work to do,"

"Alright fine I'm going, will I see you tonight?" she asked with a smile on her face.

"yes," I reply without thinking about it. Did I just say yes to her?

"Hurray!!" She grins running away.

Now I can finally breathe, let's hope at least one of them gives birth to a male child so that Grandma can relax and stop giving me the pressure of having an heir.

I couldn't concentrate looking at all that happen since I got out of bed, I decided to go for a walk to clear my head.

A big weight has been lifted off my shoulders and the people of the land will feel the throne is secured.

"Wow, congratulations! brother," Nancy and we run into each other at the door, she pushes the door open entering the room.

She shoves a chunk of chocolate into my mouth, 

"I heard princess Shelly and princess Molina are both pregnant, I always knew you were capable," she teased relaxing on the couch.

"Are you making fun of me right now?"

"I wish I was but I'm not, unfortunately, you will have to keep the two of them and a little bird has whispered in my ears that lately, you are very closed to princess Sharon even though she's not pregnant are you thinking of keeping her as your wife?" Nancy asked, I haven't thought of it yet but I don't know if I can send her back.

"Actually the three of them are still my wife and my responsibility, as you said I have accepted my duties long ago," I stammered.

"It's so good to know you're taking your responsibility very serious, well then I'm happy for you and I wish you lots of happiness but let me warn you don't make those princesses fights among themselves else you are going to invite a bigger trouble, you wouldn't want everyday quarrel among themselves, trust me, brother, you don't want to be there," Nancy warns as she wobbles her hair back and walks away.

She has a point, I have forgotten the part where I'm supposed to treat all of them equally, if I ever make them feel one is important then the other rivalry will strive among them, which is going to cost me more trouble.

I'm going to be dealing with this for the rest of my life. I chuckled looking above the piled-up files on the table which I haven't worked on any of them since I came to the office.

"Hello my prince," the guard said as he entered.

"What now?"

"The Queen mother is looking for you," he said lowering his gaze.

oh, I suppose she has already heard about it, "Let's go," muttered jumping off the chair as we head out of the room.

How fast news spreads in the palace as we enter the hallway everyone bows to congratulate me.

"Congratulations crown prince!!!!" The maid and guard greeted me as they see me.

As soon as I enter the three princesses, Shelly, Molina, and Sharon lined up in that order, Nancy and grandma were waiting for me in the hall.

"My dear grandson, I always knew you could do it, I'm so happy, you made me proud, now you can ascend the throne once your son is born and nothing or no one is going to stand in your way," Grandma said happily kissing me on my forehead like she always does when I was a boy.

"Yes grandma," I reply with a fake smile.

"There's going to be a big celebration this is the best birthday present you could ever receive Zenab," Grandma said.

oh no now she has a reason to throw a bigger birthday party, something both Nancy and I didn't want.

"Yes grandma anything you say," I reply as Nancy tries to laugh but holds it in.

"Not so fast Queen mother, before we thought the crown prince is the only capable person to ascend the throne but..." One of the tribe leaders objects, he has always been against me since day one now he speaks with so much confidence he must have some kind of solid reason.

But what did he find out?

"Why so? In your opinion who do you think is more capable than the crown prince?" Nancy scowls as grandma tries to stop her.

Besides she doesn't know him and what he is capable of.

"All of you go back to your Chambers," grandma mumbles.

"You too Nancy," grandma said looking at Nancy as the other princesses leave immediately.

Knowing Nancy she is not going, I only hope she doesn't make it worse.

"Please tell us what your reason is old man," Nancy grumble as the tribe leaders look at her angrily.
