Chapter 128 - Princesses War

The expression on princess Shelly and princess Molina's faces look suspicious, and I was right they plan this but why? 

"Before I tell you my suspicion let's get this right, both of you tell me what you did and who you met or spoke to before you took that piece of cake?" asked looking at them, shelly looks at Molina before speaking.

"I was in my chamber the whole day, my maid left to run some errands so I was alone, I came out to see the table set and I just ate it since it was my favorite cake it was the only thing I took," she stammered.

"Was it your favorite cake too?" I asked looking at Molina.

"No, but when you are pregnant you crave sweet things, I was also in my chamber all day and when I came out I didn't see her," Molina whispers looking at Shelly before looking at me.

"Both your maids who were to be taking care of you were nowhere to be found and apparently the only people that can tell where the cake came from?" I mumble, what am I missing? 

"Nancy where is this leading to?" Zenab asked.

"Let's test this empirical hypothesis, shall we, you realized the prince is paying special attention to princess Sharon, you decided to get her out of your way by making princess Molina take the cake with poison," I pause to think,

"I suppose you told her it will only make her sick or something, why else will she agree to it kill her own baby and the chance of being the queen? then because she didn't trust you, she mixed some of the poisonous cake with yours,"

"you Shelly took the cake because you couldn't resist the temptation of tasting your favorite cake your maid brought back from your mother, now tell me is this false or do I need to gather evidence?" 

"Mind you, it's just a theory I'm not accusing anyone here," I said with a smile as Zenab's mouth dropped in shock.

"My princess," they sob as they go on their knees. 

"What!" Zenab exclaimed in absolute shock, she couldn't believe his ears.

Princess Shelly was going to kill two birds with one stone, unfortunately, it backfired and she lost her unborn child as well. 

"You went to this length, for nothing I'm so disappointed in you two," Zenab scowls as he looks disgusted by them.

"There is a lot going on and you will receive your appropriate punishment at the right time, for now, this will be kept a secret, you may leave now," I mumble walking closer to Zenab.

"Thank you my princess for sparing our life," Shelly whispered as they angrily stare at each other as they walk out of the hall.

"You should go to princess Sharon now," I whispered to Zenab, he still look upset and in shock.

"How could you let them stay in the palace after this? they killed my unborn babies that's a traitorous act and deserve to be put to death," Zenab scoffed at me angrily.

"Relax will you? looking at how things are going on in the kingdom, you want to put the princesses of the most powerful tribes to death are you evening using your head right now?" I yelled trying to calm him down.

"Let me handle this, go to princess Sharon, she must be upset," I mumbled.

"Why will she upset? she should rather feel relief she wasn't found guilty," Zenab complain.

"Zenab if you choose to love you should know how to trust, she loved you and trusted you, she expected the same thing from you but what did you do? when she needed you to defend her you didn't even look at her," I complain giving him a serious look, yet he still didn't get it.

"What was I supposed to do? this was a serious matter, I know how was she can play around sometimes, maybe she didn't think it would be this great of a consequence." He mumble running his hands through his hair, I could feel how tense he was.

"You still don't get it, do you? she's upset and there is a chance that she is pregnant, I saw how faint she looked, you better treat her well this might be your only chance to actually have an heir," I grumble as I place my hand on his shoulders,

"you think she is pregnant?" Zenab let out a murmur clenching my hands laid on his shoulders

"I don't know Zenab, I just guessed, but you should let the royal midwife check on her later until then you have to keep a very close eye on her," I let out a whisper as Zenab's face enlightens,

"Nothing can happen to her now that princess Shelly and princess Molina lost their babies, they will do whatever it takes to get back at her and if they know she's pregnant, she'll be in danger, and of course our uncle, he could also be a threat you know," I muttered as Zenab roll his eyes.

"Come on what has my unborn baby got to do with our uncle? he only wants to take the throne," he hissed in disbelief.

I can't believe he still thinks like a child well maybe he sees him as his uncle.

"Alright fine I'm not going to argue with you on this just go to her and make sure she's doing ok that's all," I said pushing him away right when the door open someone was standing there with a huge bouquet of flowers covering his face and almost the entries.

"Oh wow that's a lot of flowers, did you pluck the entire garden?" Zenab jokes, my heart skipped a beat, Baby is finally back I have waited for so long.

"What took you so long?" I cried.

"I'm right on time," the voice behind the bouquet whispered.

What? it is not Baby's voice. He slowly takes the bouquet off his face.

"It's you," I let out a whimper out of frustration and sadness at the same time angry.

"Go on now Zenab I will take care of this one," I murmur as Zenab holds back his smiles and left us.

"Why don't you like the flowers?" Leo asked, wearing a multi-color shirt whose buttons are barely done showing off his chest, he has a burly chest by the way.

"Huh," I said absentmindedly, "the flowers are nice and huge well very huge I must say," I mumbled not even looking at the flowers in his hands.

He quickly puts them away, "it seems I'm not the one you were expecting to see," Leo whispered sadly turning his face to the wall.

"Oh no I admit, I thought it was Baby but it's good to see you, come here give me a hug, you missed me huh?" I let out a soft smile pulling him for a hug.

"Very much," he whispers hugging me tightly.

"But well Baby asked me to check on you before you start asking many questions he is fine, just a small problem he is handling, is everything fine here? the last time I was here I was turned into a little pup," Leo said breaking from the hug as he holds my hands and smiles.

"Yeah everything is fine here, tell Baby to come back soon else I will break his face," I whimper, "I will help you with that," he jokes.

"Let's go meet the others," I mumbled dragging him out of the hall.

"Geez you mean your two annoying friends and the hybrid," he scoffs.

"Yes now hurry before my grandmother sees you, who knows what she will turn you into this time around?" I joke as he increases his pace.

"Oh no," he said in fright almost running away. Roland and Betty fake a smile when they saw him he gladly return a fake one.

Even though Princess Shelly and Molina plotted this whole scheme together, I don't know why I feel there is someone else behind it. I have been thinking about it for days.

It was confirmed Princess Sharon is indeed pregnant, Zenab moves her to his chamber temporarily for her safety, I believe my brother is working hard to earn her forgiveness knowing Sharon must be giving him a tough time.

Leo and I spend most of our afternoon together he follows me around almost everywhere.

"Will you stop following me around?" I whimpered.

"I'm sorry I can't, I was told to watch over you, and that's what I'm doing, I send a message to Baby," Leo replied me with a cute smile.

"And?"

The last time he said similar words to me Baby complaint about why his smell was everywhere in our house. I can't understand the two of them.

"I told him everything is fine here so he should stay longer," he smirks.

"You what?" I yelled angrily as my eyes dilated and my voice exacerbates.

"What I told him the truth, I have been here for 3 days and 3 nights, everything is fine here and besides I want to be the one to protect you," Leo said and wink his eyes at me.

Before I could answer her Pana was walking towards us, the last time I saw her was with Barbara and Barbie.

"My lady," she whispers as she got closer.

"Who is the twin with!" I mumble.

"Oh Prince Nico wanted to spend some time with them so I let him," she said with a smile, if it was some other maid I would have strangled her right there.

"You what!"
