Chapter 130 - I Know

Nancy's POV

"Nancy, what is wrong?" Grandma asked concerned when she realized I seem lost.

"Ah, nothing grandma I just missed you," I lie hugging her.

"Silly girl always acting like a big baby," grandma jokes, "you don't need anyone's permission to come to see me," she added with a smile turning to look at Zenab and back on me.

"Zenab was just telling about what happened with the princesses and I'm very excited how you handle the whole situation now I have no doubt even when I'm not here you will protect each other," grandma hissed she walks to sit on her bed.

"There you go again grandma, you are not going anywhere we won't allow you," Zenab mutters turning to face me as I nod.

"Yes grandma, you know we don't like it when you talk like that," I sob as we both squat beside her bed.

"Get some rest grandma, we will head back now," Zenab whispers kissing grandma's hand and walking away.

I was behind him, still wondering how I was going to tell grandma.

"Nancy," grandma called as my heart skipped a beat, I felt sweat forming on my forehead and under my armpit.

"Yes," grandma I whispered as I turn slowly to face her with my hands clenching on the other.

"Are you are okay?" Grandma asked. This is your chance Nancy it's now or never I wobble to myself finding the courage to speak up.

I could only shake my head as grandma nodded and feels relief.

I walk to the door and stood still unable to take another step forward.

"No grandma there is something I need to tell you," I said sharply turning to face her.

"Grandma it's about grandpa's alleged son," I mumbled gathering courage to speak.

"What about him? Has he done something to you?" grandma asked with concern.

"No grandma, the thing is I have known him for a while now, he appeared out of nowhere in the palace one evening and said he was here to train me on how to use my powers," I said all in one breath before I hold back looking at grandma who still had the same expression she had before all calm and understanding.

"Grandma something?" I muff after telling grandma the whole truth.

"Come here," grandma mumbles walking over to me as she held my hand and made me sit beside her on the bed.

"I knew all about it," grandma confessed.

"But why didn't you say anything?" I asked as my eyes shoot out.

"Because he training you, I thought before he will try to put his plans to action you would have been ready," grandma explains yet I couldn't understand what she was trying to say.

"What grandma he killed Leo and threaten to kill anyone dear to me?" I hissed looking at grandma's face.

She let out a deep breath as if there was more to the story than she was ready to tell.

"I know," grandma said softly in a comforting manner.

"Who is this Nicobolmo anyway?" I asked.

"He mentioned his real name to you?" Grandma asked surprised.

"Yes the first time he appeared in front of me with his huge wings," I replied sharply waiting to hear where grandma was taking this.

Was his name some kind of forbidden name I wasn't supposed to know or mention?

"How come?" Grandma said in a daze.

"Grandma!" 

"Even on the moon no one calls him by his real name but Nico, he committed a traitorous act and was banned from the kingdom for centuries he was then pardoned. Each time someone dares takes his name there came an earthquake or something bad happens so I'm surprised you know that name," grandma narrated now I have a clear understanding of this but what does he want from me?

"What did he teach you while you were training?" Grandma asks suddenly.

"Nothing much I started with physical training and he thought me how to concentrate and make fireballs," I said as grandma gets lost in her thoughts.

"How do I defeat him?"

"Nancy he is a very dangerous man and your powers are not yet...." Grandma tries to convince me to stay put, all this while she said nothing because she didn't want me to act witty, I know what he is capable of doing, and since he thought me everything I know I can't use that against him.

"I know grandma, he said something like everyone on the moon had a few of their powers in me," I asked grandma.

"Yes, when I had left they already chose you to be the one to lead them, that could be true," grandma mumbles.

"We don't know when he will strick again now stay away from him no matter how he makes you angry," grandma cautions holding my both hands as she sounds serious.

"From now on you only need to get hold of your mind for it is the gate to all your powers once you can do that then you are ready," grandma instructed.

As I walk back to my room grandma's words echoed in my ears most especially why Nico to me his real name? Did he plan it? Or he just wanted me to trust him at the time.

Whichever way I look at it his real name has something to do with his weakness and that is one step in defeating him.

"Nancy where have you been?" a voice came through from the hall, I turn to face Baby staring at me lovely, he knows how hard it is on me to accept that Leo is gone.

"I went to see grandma Baby," I whispered as he pulls me into his arms as we walk back to my chamber, it was already very late the twin and everyone else had fallen asleep.

we both lay on the bed staring into the ceiling, "Is the pack doing okay? do you need to go back to them?" I asked tilting my head to look at him as he turns to look at my face with a smile pulling closer to him and wrapping his arms around me.

"The pack is fine, I'm worried about you," he let out a murmur holding me tight I sniff in his body smell, "What about me?" I whispered burying my head in his neck.

"Knowing you I'm afraid you will do something silly, I need to go back to the pack but I can't, the full moon is approaching and I don't know if those bracelets will be able to keep the twin from turning," Baby mumbles planting soft small kisses on my shoulders.

I raise my head to look at him, "I got this, the pack is important and if you need to go I will understand but just come soon, for the twins I can take care of them we have survived many full moon nights we will survive this one too," I hissed plant a kiss on his lips.

"You know you are the only person that has the most powerful alpha wrapped around fingers," Baby teased as his face turned shade red.

"Is that so?" I joke, 

"Yes, you doubt that?" he mumbles,

"No, I don't," I grin as we both went silent again finding comfort in each other's arms, Baby hasn't said much but I know how affected he is by the sudden death of Leo.

"Do you want to do something crazy?" Baby asked finally tossing me over as he lays o top of me.

"Crazy is my middle name, what do you have in mind?" I said with a smile, I need to do something before the rage I'm feeling consumes me, this time I need to be tactical about how I deal with Nico I can't afford to lose another loved one.

"First change into something you will be comfortable in," he said getting off me without telling me what he was planning I simply obeyed I need the distraction.

"Okay," I mumble as I change into a simple dress and hold my golden hair up, "Let's go," he whispered holding my hands as we run fast in the hand way, fast enough for the guards on duty to spot us, he asked me to wait while he runs back fast and came back with the Barbara and Barbie in his arms.

what was he planning?

"there were still up," Baby defend himself when I stare at him strangely if someone was to see us they will think we were escaping. 

"What are you planning Baby?" I mumble, hoping he was not planning to do what I was thinking.

"Girls, I'm going to take this off for a while okay?" Baby whimpers as he kneels beside them to take off their bracelet.

"Now it is done," he grins as the twins smile at him. "You keep this," he said giving the kids a bracelet for me to keep.

"Kids, how about we make mummy run," Baby grins as the kids nod their heads with a smile. "Yes papa," Barbara said as she clocks her little hands in mine as Barbie holds my other hand.

before I could utter a word we were in the middle of the forest, I almost freaked out, we were far away from the palace and Zamuniland, forgetting the twin were like fugitives that needs to hide from the rest of the world, they were pries the world wants to hunt down.

"Baby what are you thinking we could be in danger?" I pout as my eyes scowl at him in the dark forest, 

"Relax Nancy we are here to protect them," he whispers as he turns to the kids.

"Kid daddy is going to show you how to hunt for food," he said as the twin nodded, he cant be serious right now why do they need to learn how to hunt.

"They are werewolves Nancy and at some point, they will need to hunt for their own food," Baby said as if he could read what was on my mind.

as we were talking Barbara and Barbie takes off their clothes and shift almost immediately, "Wow that is my babes," Baby said proudly as the twin starts to run fast.

I couldn't stand still when Baby also shift into his wolf form and run after them, standing alone in the dark forest worrying about them.

I shut my eyes while meditating as if I was teleported to where there were, I could envision them, watching their every move as Baby slowly tries to bounce on an antelope while the twin follows his lead, just when he was about to bounce on him I heard movement around my surrounding and quickly opens my eyes.

"Who is there?" I ask nervously.
