34 The Overall Improvements 2 .

He could finally get some basics about this world, as villagers didn't know much. The book was in electronic form, thanks to the system, reading was possible anywhere. The contents were written in another language, probably the author's native language.

'If I contribute something, in what language is it added?'

[It's the Adean Language. You created Destia's Branch, and it uses your current language.]

'Check any information connected to planet Earth or Milky Way.'

[There are books written by aliens. You have access to a few of them. Library locked as your knowledge level is low. It won't give you knowledge above your permissions to not disrupt the world's balance.]

'I already have some knowledge. We can go around these rules anyway. I can recreate some modern level skills and upgrade the knowledge level.'

[It won't be easy. Yet it's possible. You should work harder, or you will die once again like a rat.]

The book described races of this world in a really interesting way. There was information about many things that you wouldn't really expect from the book. It described four mayor races and eight rarer races.

The most common was an ordinary human, and most of this world is full of humans. The weakest race, basically humankind only dominated the continents through dirty tricks and benefiting from wars of other races. The author made many different quite experiments on humans and described them as a good labor force. The only positive thing about humans of this world was actually a possibility to crossbreeding with other races.

The second race in his book were actually elves, a race of nature-loving human hunters. If an elf didn't kill a human on sight, it meant that he or she was blind. The author didn't state the reason for this hatred, probably some kind grudge for burning some world-tree or something. Elves could communicate with nature, their ability to blend with surrounding was on a different level. He performed a series of tests to check this particular ability and the only injury of level ripping off the arm could make them clearly visible. Their lifespan was three to four times longer than human's lifespan.

The third main race was actually orcs, and these ugly motherfuckers were everywhere. They only purpose was to dominate, **** and plunder. This race didn't care about anything, besides honor of the warrior. The author tried many times to force them to use dirty tricks to kill. They preferred to die than becoming damned by dirtying the warrior's honor. They had many variations, with many different abilities related to their variations.

The fourth most important race were giants, as none wanted to have war with them. There were not many of them in this world, still, they could stop wars by shouting. They could live for ages, and offending them was equally stupid as trying to court elf as human. Their height was like rings inside a tree, the bigger giant was meant that he was there when your ancestor wasn't even born. Experiments showed high resistance to pain and high healing factor.

The rarer races were angels, demons, shiran, goblins, fairies, elementals, beast-kind, and dwarfs.

Angels were funny, they wielded the light element. This was the last thing common with Earth's vision of an angel. These creatures weren't anyone servant and their favorite hobby was collecting eyeballs. The writer saw multiple times, angel blinding his opponent and gauging his eyes. Although their magic had healing spells and many other different kinds of buffs. The real angels rarely used them on different races. The experiment proved high sadistic tendencies of multiple specimens. There was a case of an angel healing his victim to ensure survival for more tortures.

Demons were a race of warriors, the author portrayed them as an idiotic race of muscle heads. They loved food more than everything. There were stories of specimen stoping middle of battle because of finding cooking ingrednent. Nothing could stop them from gettting their hands tasty food, there are rumors about demons stealing fruits from tree of life before its destruction. Demon specialize in dark arts as their element is darkness.

Shiran race was weird race, and they were good at martial arts and weapons. They had a lot of interesting techniques and other races attacked them only because of greed. There weren't much of them left during his expeditions, so the author didn't make any trials on them. As there was a rule about protecting endangered races in dimensional traveler's codex.

Dwarfs were hard to meet as they lived deep underground, and they were focused on blacksmithing and other crafts. They had slaves called goblins, however, there was some weird civil war and goblins escaped.

The fairies are rare and most hunted as fairy dust was the greatest narcotic of all this world.

The beast-kind was actually common as humans. Some of them looked like a result of forbidden love between humans and beasts. He described the most common variations and most interesting variations.

The author didn't describe his meeting with elementals, yet has written a few kinds and their main trait. Elementals loved power and it was like they were scared of something and searched for more and more power. There were many moderately them and even mix-bloods.

After describing some races, he mentioned some of his observations and cataloged some bloodlines in the respective race.

'Please, no beast-kind!'

[Race: Human/Shiran]

[Bloodline: Human(Drevon Clan 15% - Not Awakened), Shiran(White blood 13% - Not Awakened)]

'What means of this % next to the name of bloodline?'

[It displays the purity of bloodline. For example, your human bloodline purity is 23%. There is a chance of awakening this bloodline, though the lower purity of bloodline the lower chance of awakening.]

'Shiran. Interesting, I wonder if I meet anyone from this race.'

He was pondering about why his bloodlines sucked so hard. The 13% was enough to manifest, white hair and red eyes. However, not enough for any talent or anything useful.

'Can I improve the purity of my bloodline?'

[Yes. The system can purify your bloodline with world energy.]

'Price?'

[From 1% to 5%. 1K for 1%]

[From 5% to 10% 5K for 1%]

[From 10% to 20% 10K for 1%]

[From 20% to 50% 100K for 1%]

[From 50% to 75% 1M for 1%]

[From 75% to 90% 100M for 1%]

[From 90% to 99% 10 B for 1%]

[From 99% to 100% ???]

'The prices are ridiculous...'

[Don't complain, most of the bloodlines are giving special traits and unique powers. The system allows you to get bloodlines to high purity as you were born with them. Bloodlines artificially fused into the body are weaker and the host doesn't need to worry about this.]

'Both of my bloodlines are pathetically low. I don't doubt weakness of this body. Tossing away weaker children is normal for many specimens as they wouldn't survive in a harsh world.' Aron could understand decision of his father. He wouldn't be able to survive in the world of nobles, having protect him was too bothersome.
