Days passed and she lost a friend because she didn't know she was Maverick's ex - one of the girls he played with to be exact - lasted for a week. They were becoming close them she found out that she's dating Maverick, and boom!Friendship over! Her classmates were even betting how long she'd last with Maverick, that's how he was in everyone's eyes - a player, a Casanova, a heartbreaker who changes women like they're clothes, except Queshia, she always thought that people change - that he could change for her, so she kept hanging on even at times when she's already receiving a cold shoulder. She didn't know what she's done wrong, she tried to confront him, she waited at the bench outside his room that day.

Maverick had been fighting with his own feelings that week and knows that he was bound to explain why he's been treating Queshia badly. The fault was all on him but he can't accept it, so he tried to blame it on her.

"Hey...is there a problem?...did I do something wrong?...can you please talk to me?" Queshia pleaded

"I know I told you I won't change you, especially towards your friends, but I know one of your friends like you, can't you avoid them for me?"

"Ok...I will...just please don't be mad? I don't like it when you're like that...belated happy Valentine's by the way..."

"Ok...let's go to the park later after your classes are all over alright? I'll see you later...oh wait, why are you here? don't you have class?

"I skipped class so I could talk to you...I know you've been kind of avoiding me...people are even asking me if we're over...I wanted to clarify it to you...can you also stay away from other girls?"

Maverick was shocked to hear that she skipped class because of him, he felt a little guilty, he replied "Oh, I'm sorry...sure ok...I better get to class...you should too."

"Ok...I love you...bye..."

After classes, she was shocked to see Maverick waiting outside their room. Even her classmates were surprised, especially those that thought they were over.

"Hey there!...you didn't have to wait for me here..." Queshia said shyly

"Silly...you're my girlfriend, of course I'd wait for you anywhere...let's go!"

As they were walking to the park, being a jerk as he is, he deliberately compared her to Lenny, that Lenny was a little taller. And she got hurt, who would want to be compared to an ex - specifically the longest relationship he had with! She became a lot quieter during their walk. Actually, he was aiming for her to cry and tell him all her pain during the time he didn't talk to her. And that's what happened at the park, they sat on the grass, the stars coming out from the sky, and talked heart to heart, he told her all that happened between him and his exes, why he became the way he is, and she told him how painful she felt when she was being ignored and being compared especially to his ex, and they became closer that night, happier, felt more relived, and that's how they spent their post Valentine's day.

Days went by their feelings and bond were becoming stronger than before. One day when he told her he'd walk her home, but suddenly can't, she was with her friend Kei, and he was with his friend, Ryan.

"Are you mad?" Maverick asked

"Yes! Of course I am! You'd rather go to a bar than to be with me, what's not to be mad about?" Queshia answered infront of Ryan and Kei.

"Well that was straightforward..." he whispered to Ryan, but was actually impressed, because he was hoping for her to say that in order for him to have a reason not to go out with his friends, thus the reason why Ryan was with him - to be a witness that he had an alibi not to go to the bar.

"Ok, you heard that Ryan right? Tell them I can't come...I'll be with Queshia..." he told Ryan as he held Queshia's hand to walk away not giving him a chance to reply.

As the trio walked away, they just roamed around the mall for a while and then Kei left, now it's only the two of them. They were talking near the railings when she scratched her ear - was just freshly pierced, so it bled, making Maverick panic, and Queshia laugh at his expression.

He pulled out his hanky to stop the bleeding and said, "I'm not a nurse or anything, but I could be all that for you..."

Her heart melted and replied "Aww so sweet...thanks...sorry for making you worry...I won't die you know...it's just a simple piercing..."

"You shouldn't have made another piercing on your ears..."

They then walked hand in hand going to Queshia's house, but just as they were near, she suddenly saw her dad on the other side of the road and quickly let go of Maverick's hand. She then explained and pointed that she saw her dad and that she can't have any boyfriends until she's already graduated from college.

The next day, she invited Maverick and his friends, together with her friends at her house. She didn't know that her parents won't be home until late at night, she was planning to introduce Maverick to them, as a friend.

Some went swimming, some went to the mini gym, and some were at her room, including her and Maverick. Zian was playing at the computer, Charlie and Josh were watching TV and Queshia and Maverick were joking with each other and became a tickling game - which Queshia will never win against Maverick, cause she's very...I mean veeeery ticklish, but then, Maverick got tickled where the sun don't shine - he got a boner, and he didn't expect that to happen just because he was tickling Queshia...well that's a first. He tried to hide it though, good thing Zian was going home so they stopped and she walked Zian out. While she was away, Charlie and Josh were teasing Maverick.

"Dude! You f*cking have a boner! Just because you were so close and tickling her!" Charlie said laughing so hard he started to roll over.

"I can't f*cking believe it!!! The almighty Maverick! Got a boner! With a simple closeness with Queshia!!! When even your ex Callie tried so hard to seduce you, hump you, and all, you didn't get a boner?!" Josh said laughing hysterically

"Shut the f*ck up!!! Quiet down she might be here any second..." Both quieted down and continued watching.

"Hey! I'm back! Want some?" Queshia asked offering chips and drinks.

They ate and continued what they were doing, and Queshia and Maverick were just chatting, he then had the urge to kiss her passionately, just a few seconds later, something is poking her down there...they stopped and Maverick ran to the comfort room.

"F*ck this boner" Maverick said to himself thinking why he can't seem to control the poking devil.

A little while later, her parents came home and she introduced them as her friends - even Maverick.
