58 A New Day

Lu Yi Feng felt like dying! The first half of the sleep was the best sleep of his life, but then it turned into a nightmare! He never knew that sleeping together with a kid was pure torture. The little girl didn't stop moving all night. If she didn't kick his back, then she almost punched his face. He had to dodge all night because of that.

If that punch landed on his face, then his face would be bruised --- not only that, his face would be full of red dots! It would be horrifying! The result of his sleepless night was the prominent eye bags under his eyes and also his bad mood.

He decided that it was better for him to hit the gym rather than stayed with them any longer. Lu Yi Feng threw away the winter gears that he wore and finally he was able to breathe freely. Geez! With this kind of torture, he wondered if there would be a day, a woman would be able to accept him fully including all of his flaws.

He had fulfilled his promise and there should be no complaints from the little devil. His gym room was specifically designed under the stairs that led to his room, so it would save up some spaces.

By the time Feng Xiao Qing woke up, she found out that Lu Yi Feng had been gone. She knocked her own head softly. She promised herself to stay awake all night, but it seemed like she fell asleep because of her tiredness. Fortunately, Lu Yi Feng was indeed a nice man --- just like the one in her memories. Remembering that, her mouth curled up for a little bit.

She looked the sleeping girl in front of her and kissed her cheek, before taking Feng-Feng from the floor and put it near Xiao Xi Xi --- just in case, she woke up and cried because she couldn't find Feng-Feng.

Feng Xiao Qing twisted her hair and turned it into a bun, preparing herself to make breakfast. Yesterday, when she arrived in this apartment, she wasn't able to find any foods in the refrigerator. She realized that Lu Yi Feng had been living an unhealthy life and she couldn't let Xiao Xi Xi follow his example. She decided to take charge of the cooking duty.

When Lu Yi Feng went out of the gym room, the fragrant and delicious smell of the foods attacked his nostrils. He was quite surprised and felt that having a woman in his life would make a nice difference. Feng Xiao Qing prepared Xiao Xi Xo who already woke up and they sat together at the dining room. They ate together and the way they behaved it was like an everyday routine.

Lu Yi Feng brought them to the company together and Feng Xiao Qing kept wearing her mask and cap, so no one would know her identity. This was Lu Yi Feng's plan all along. He would like people to find out that he had a woman by his side and let them guess her identity. Lu Yi Feng intended to protect Feng Xiao Qing's identity until she debuted, by then people would know that they had been in a relationship for a long time and it would remove his cut-sleeve scandal. As to how he would protect Feng Xiao Qing's image if someone said she debuted because of connection, he already planned ahead.

When they arrived at the company, Lu Yi Feng used his private elevator to his office. Feng Xiao Qing and Xiao Xi Xi followed him obediently.

"We are going to have a meeting in my office regarding your schedule. I will assign someone to take care of Xiao Xi Xi in our company's daycare. Will you be okay, Xi Xi?" Lu Yi Feng asked.

"Yes, Uncle," Xiao Xi Xi answered obediently.

Lu Yi Feng nodded in satisfaction. He forgot his own restriction and because of his impulsiveness, he almost patted Xiao Xi Xi's head with his hand. However, he remembered halfway and his hand stopped midway. His hand trembled for a little bit and he quickly retracted his hand back. All of his movements were seen by Feng Xiao Qing's keen eyes, but she tactfully didn't say anything about it. However, she took note of his weird movement. Why did he tremble when he was going to touch XIao Xi Xi?

They had a long meeting and it contained Feng Xiao Qing's whole career. There would be a lot of lessons that she had to attend --- dancing, singing, public relation skill, to be precise, everything. Feng Xiao Qing was given the best manager in the company, An Ran. An Ran was quite surprised because it seemed like all of the best resources were given to this newbie. It seemed like Feng Xiao Qing's relationship with his boss wasn't that simple.

"You need to work hard. I'm a picky person and I won't hesitate to criticize you. Even if Boss is the one who assigned you to me if I'm not satisfied with you... I'm going to drop you," An Ran said.

An Ran was the best among the best managers and because of that, her words held a lot of importance in their company. Lu Yi Feng also respected her decision and believed in her insight.

Feng Xiao Qing nodded, "I will do my best."

"Good... your image will be decided by me and there will be a lot of matters that I need to talk to you about. Before that, we have to arrange your schedule first," An Ran explained.

Before Feng Xiao Qing could answer, her cellphone was ringing. She saw that it was an unknown number and she was going to ignore it. However, Lu Yi Feng gave her an order, "Answer the call first. It's probably important."

Feng Xiao QIng nodded and answered her cellphone. "Hello..."

"Hello, is this Miss Feng Xiao Qing?"

"Yes. Who is this?" Feng Xiao Qing asked.

"This is the Beijing Police Department..."
