Murong Ye, Gu Yuxuan, and Murong Xu looked at each other, feeling confused. Then, they got up and ran after Niannian.

If Mommy is looking at the star at this moment, it will deliver my yearning to Mommy. Then, she will come back after receiving it.”

Niannian’s voice was crisp and clear, but also sounded a little sad.

Murong Ye held Niannian into his arms and comforted her in a low voice, “Well, since Niannian’s words are so sincere, the star will transmit the signal to your Mommy. Thereafter, she will return as soon as she receives it!”

Niannian nodded obediently and snuggled into Murong Ye’s arms. Holding Niannian and looking at the brightest star, Murong Ye muttered in his heart, “Xiao Xi, did you hear that? Can you feel our yearning? Come back soon! We are waiting for you!”

Murong Xu put his arm around Gu Yuxuan’s shoulders. Looking at the two of them snuggled together, they felt moved.

Murong Yunxi opened the folder, and pulled out a stack of documents. She looked at it carefully, and then her brows knitted in a frown.

Lu Yang patiently waited for Murong Yunxi to read through the files, one by one. He did not say anything until she finished the last page. “What do you think of it?”

Murong Yunxi put the documents back into the folder. “It’s true.”

Lu Yang frowned, looked at Murong Yunxi, and his face darkened. “What’s your opinion?”

Pondering for a while, Murong Yunxi answered faintly, “Wait for the change.”

Lu Yang suddenly understood that Murong Yunxi must have her own ideas on this issue, so he looked at her, and waited for her to explain further.

Glancing at the little girl who was watching cartoons beside them, she said slowly, “We should wait for them to take action. Now, they are starting to panic. If we keep quiet and wait, they will be more anxious.”

“I know it may seem be a little bit merciless to refuse you, but love can’t be forced. I believe that all of you will find your true love!” Murong Yunxi’s words were pertinent and sincere. Her eyes were as clear as water, and seemed to have the effect of purifying human minds.

“Xiao Xi, are you happy now?” Lu Yang did not know what his state of mind was. He was neither calm nor embarrassed, but just felt a little bit complicated.
