Gong Yu raised his eyebrows slightly and appeared interested to hear the details. “Oh? What does Mr Stephen think I would be afraid of?”

“Don’t forget that this is the United States!”

“Oh, so what?”

“You are just a Chinese! You do not have any influence here!”

“Haha, if Stephen thinks it is such, we might as well give it a try!”

“Haha, you are too arrogant!”

“I think Mr Stephen is really forgetful. Have you forgotten about Blanc? Or will you only believe after experiencing it personally? If so, I don’t mind repeating it!”

“You’re threatening us!”

“You are obviously the one who is challenging my endurance!” After Gong Yu said that, he stood up. “I believe that both of you still have a lot of things to be busy with. I will not delay your time.”

Gong Yu had already lost his patience with the two of them. He had achieved his goals and there was no need for him to stay on.

However, the moment Gong Yu stood up, Kyle Stephen suddenly pulled out a pistol from the back of his suit and pointed it at Gong Yu. The pitch-black muzzle was aimed directly at Gong Yu’s temples. Kyle Stephen’s mouth curled into a smile of relish. “You’ve underestimated me!”

Gong Yu’s expression showed no signs of fear. Instead, his smile became even more relaxed. He signalled with his eyes, and Second clapped his palms together. Two crisp sounds of clapping could be heard and it appeared to be exceptionally loud and clear, during that quiet moment.

Immediately, a lot of people appeared from all corners of the bar, and even more ran in from outside. The initially spacious bar became packed instantly, and everyone in the room pointed their guns at Kyle Stephen. This made his heart turn cold.

Gong Yu was not hasty or slow. He was calm and collected and did not show any signs of fear. It was as if Kyle Stephen was merely holding a toy pistol.

“Why? It seems that you want to be a target for my men to practice their gunmanship? If you have this intention, I am willing to satisfy your wish.”

Kyle Stephen’s heart felt so aggrieved at this moment. He had never been that passive in recent years. It was only an impulse of the moment of his, to shoot and blow off Gong Yu’s head. However, what he did not expect was that Gong Yu was able to stay calm, because he had sufficient confidence that he would be able to dodge the bullet. It was not even because his intelligence and bravery surpassed others or because he was surrounded by his men.

While Gong Yu appeared to be calm, all the senses in his entire body was on a high degree of alert mode. The moment Kyle pulled the trigger, he was fully prepared to dodge. Thus, he was not the least afraid of Kyle Stephen. Instead, he was even more dangerous than Kyle Stephen. Once he fired his gun, Kyle would truly be like the holes in a sieve at the next moment, when he would be riddled by the bullets.

Kyle Stephen remained silent for a long time, before he finally placed his gun down. Perhaps the higher one’s status, the more timid he was. He found that he was very fearful of death now, and he no longer had the power to fight with his life, like he used to. Eventually, he placed the gun down and looked at Gong Yu in fury and resentment.

Gong Yu turned his eyes and met Kyle Stephen’s eyes with a stern and vicious look. “Mr Stephen, you are making me unhappy now. I’ve changed my mind then. Settle the money now and then you can leave. If you can’t settle it, then… Hah… I will help you to settle it using the fella in my hands.”

No one knew when another gun suddenly appeared in Gong Yu’s hands. This was the model which Murong Ye had custom made for him. Gong Yu played with the gun in his hand. He almost spun a flower pattern out of it, and this confused Kyle Stephen.

Lauren Crane no longer wanted to stay here. He took out a chequebook from his breast pocket, signed the cheque and handed it to Gong Yu.

Gong Yu glanced at it, but did not reach out to accept it. He gave Second a look and Second walked forward to accept the cheque. After he verified the amount and signature, he got everyone to make way for Lauren Crane. Lauren Crane ran from the bar as if he was fleeing for his life.

Of course, he had also incurred hatred from the black Collar Organization today, and there would be more accounts to settle in the future. However, right now, he had no time to care about these. This time round, Gong Yu’s set up had hit him hard, and it was questionable as to whether he could still get back on his feet.

After Lauren Crane left, only Kyle Stephen remained. It seemed that the terms were already laid for him, and he could only move in accordance with the planned set up. His blue eyes were full of complicated emotions at that moment. His body seemed to have been hollowed out, and he no longer had the strength to resist.

He took out his chequebook and wrote a string of numbers. Finally, he paused for a moment before he sighed and signed his name. He then handed it directly to Second, and walked towards the door.

Gong Yu stopped Kyle Stephen, and in a deep voice, said, “Wait!”

Kyle Stephen’s heart tightened. He could not understand what more Gong Yu, wanted and he turned to glare at Gong Yu viciously. “What else do you want?”

Gong Yu waved his hand behind him, and one of his subordinates pushed the man, who was tied up, over.

“Take him away with you!”

After the matter was resolved, Gong Yu returned to his place of residence again. His heart seemed to have emptied all at once. A faint sense of melancholy crept into his heart and caused it to cloud over. Amidst the fog, he could vaguely make a petite and pretty silhouette swaying by. After careful scrutiny, it seemed to be Murong Yunxi, the person whom he worried and cared about most.

While his thoughts were slowly invaded by his longing, there was a knock on the door and then, Lisa walked in.

Gong Yu turned, took one look at Lisa, and his face changed to its usual cold expression.

“Young Master Gong, I have booked the ticket. The flight is scheduled for tonight. A car has been arranged and I will send you off then.”

“Alright, good!” Gong Yu thought about it for a moment before he continued, “Prepare a car for me. I want to go and buy something.”

Lisa acknowledged this softly, then turned and left.

An hour later, Lisa brought Gong Yu to the largest shopping mall and Gong Yu said plainly, “You can just wait for me here!”

Gong Yu got off the car and randomly picked up gifts from the shopping mall. His heart was alive with hope. He looked forward to return to A city, where Murong Yunxi had returned safely and the family could sit down together happily. He carefully selected a gift for everyone, as he harboured such a beautiful fantasy.

Finally, Gong Yu came to a high-end crystal accessories store. Almost all of the accessories in this store were limited editions. A piece of accessory was a work of art that would command a high price outside. However, Gong Yu was not here today to pick an accessory, but to make one personally.

When Gong Yu approached the store, a friendly shop assistant came forward to assist him, but Gong Yu merely said plainly, “The customization, which Mr Gong has scheduled an appointment for.”

This shop assistant was new and did not understand, so she rejected him politely, “I’m sorry, sir. I’m afraid you are mistaken. Our shop never does customization. You can take a look at our accessories. They are all limited editions, and each was designed by a master level designer. Each item is also completely hand-crafted…”

Gong Yu was impatient with the shop assistant’s incessant chatter. He turned to look at a relatively older shop assistant in the store and asked, “Is your store manager here?”

The older shop assistant noted Gong Yu’s extravagance, and was certain that he was an established customer. Thinking that he was dissatisfied with the new shop assistant, she hurried over. “Hello, sir. I am the manager of this store. This is our new staff who just joined us, today. Please forgive us if there is any area where we have not served you well.”

The new shop assistant gave her store manager an aggrieved look. “Store manager, I have been very polite when I was attending to this gentleman, and I also introduced the products well.”

The store manager gave the new shop assistant a look, repulsed by her lack of tact. She turned her head and said to Gong Yu with a smile, “Now, is there anything I can do for you?”

Gong Yu repeated what he said, plainly, “The customization which Mr Gong had scheduled an appointment for.”

When the store manager heard this, she sized Gong Yu up, before it suddenly dawned upon her. When she saw Gong Yu’s extravagance, she was eighty per cent sure that he was the one and only Mr Gong, who was here for the customization.

“You are Mr Gong?” The manager confirmed once again, but in her heart, she already knew the answer.

Gong Yu nodded his head, and there was no change of emotion on his indifferent face.

“Oh, please come with me.” The manager of the store immediately treated Gong Yu with utmost courtesy. Such a VIP was not the usual VIP. He could be considered a VVIP and so, he naturally required absolute and superb service.

The new shop assistant looked at her store manager, with a blank look on her face and asked curiously, “Store manager, didn’t you say that our store only sells limited edition items, and we do not accept private customization?”

The store manager looked at Gong Yu with an ingratiating look, and explained to the new shop assistant, while she fawned on Gong Yu, “Of course there is no private customization in our shop but there are exceptions for special people! Mr Gong is really the first and rare special case we’ve had, since we opened the store. He is the one and only person who can have private customization. This reflects on Mr Gong’s noble status. He is definitely the mysterious VIP of our store.”

The store manager actually did not know Gong Yu’s true identity, and did not also know how Gong Yu managed to get such a special privilege. However, she knew that this was the order from the upper management, and she could not defy it. The only thing she could do now, was to entertain this esteemed guest, size him up further and remember all that, in her heart. If there was a chance to meet him again in the future, there may possibly be opportunities in store.

The store manager brought Gong Yu straight to a VIP reception room behind the store. Because there had never been such precedent, the manager hurriedly called the big boss, and reported that the mysterious Mr Gong had arrived.
