Murong Ye still had no inention of compromising. In fact, he did not feel afraid, as he knew that Murong Haotian would dare not die. He was really afraid of death. All he needed to do was drain Murong Haotian’s patience.

All of them went back to the car, realizing that Murong Qingtian was unconscious. Lu Yang felt happy to see Murong Yunxi come back safely but also felt somewhat embarrassed to meet Gong Yu over there.

Murong Yunxi had no time to share her yearning with Gong Yu and Murong Ye. However, she was worried about Murong Qingtian’s state. She felt nervous while she stared at Murong Qingtian’s pale face. She blamed herself for not taking good care of him.

They took Murong Qingtian to the hospital. This reunion should have been a happy moment, yet nobody could smile. The doctor said that Murong Qingtian’s situation was serious and required immediate surgery.

They were nervous while standing in front of the operating room. Murong Yunxi leaned her head on Gong Yu’s shoulder, showing her exhaustion. She did not fall into sleep, as she could not feel relieved before Murong Qingtian got out of the operating room.

Murong Ye behaved relatively calmly. While looking at Murong Yunxi, he asked, “Xiao Xi, what, what happened to you during these days? Why did we hear that you were dead?”

Gong Yu, who was also curious, turned to Murong Yunxi and waited for her answer.

While glancing at Lu Yang, Murong Yunxi shared the experience with them. That day, she had been walking on the pedestrian zone of C city, wanting to drink a cup of milk tea. She had asked Fourth to leave and waited for the tea herself. Suddenly, the earthquake had taken place and she had found a little girl around Niannian’s age. Later, Lu Yang told them that his army had been performing the military maneuver nearby. They had been sent to support the city after the earthquake, so he had saved Murong Yunxi by accident. He had taken her to the military hospital, but she had not regained her consciousness for a long time. He also explained why he had transferred her to another hospital and found out that someone had been scheming to kill her.

Of course, Lu Yang did not tell them about his selfish motives, as he had tried to keep Murong Yunxi with him all this time.

Murong Ye and Gong Yu focused their attention on how Lu Yang had traced Murong Haotian’s plot. Murong Haotian had sent killers to hurt Murong Yunxi after releasing her news, so they had not noticed Lu Yang’s motives and thoughts.
