Lia walked awkwardly, without any intention of following Prince Aerus. The purpose of her movement was exactly to avoid him. Lia's heartbeat and the sweep of enchantment that almost broke her defenses were able to be controlled by her. Now she had become the normal Lia, who always looked down in front of Prince Aerus and only loved Neil, a man she had only met a few times.
Tucking her hair in the wind, standing with a slightly odd side, Lia said, "You don't have to take me." The alley in front of them came into view, behind a gap in an old rusty gate. The gate always hurt Lia's eyes when she wanted to look for beautiful scenery, but there was nothing she could do about it.
Lia thought that was enough to make Prince Aerus understand that she wanted to go to work alone. She didn't want to be around Prince Aerus' superiority. But as her footsteps accelerated, and a hand gripped her arm, Lia knew she needed more than one reason to escape.
She still didn't know about the peak time of the mating season for the Elfagoses. So she wasn't too aware of the danger of Prince Aerus' wildness which might explode at any moment. Lia looked up slowly, blinking gently as if she was an obedient girl.
"Why shouldn't I take you? I need a strong reason that I can understand." And that was how Prince Aerus always was. He was very dominant, very assertive, and sometimes did not want to be argued. But slowly he suppressed all his ego, because of the various things he needed to explore the reasons for and some things he wanted to get back. Maybe because he wanted to repeat the moment when he was in the middle of Lia's grip so badly, he missed that moment.
Lia cleared her throat, making her voice as natural as possible so it wouldn't look like she was lying. "You…. you will… uh." Eyes bounced wildly to various sides, various nooks, and crannies that were sometimes not exposed. In every direction, Lia wanted to seek her luck. "You will attract a lot of attention. I mean look at your glittering golden hair, and also how extravagant you look."
Lia glared, slowly getting up her courage to peek at Prince Aerus's face, which was now twitching with a blushing smile. Lia seemed to know that compliment could melt Prince Aerus' stubbornness for a little. So Lia immediately said back, "You are also very handsome. I've never seen a man as handsome as you.
"Your body is also very tall, you are so proportional. Your skin is very – very – very clean, and also shiny. You're bathed in diamonds. Especially if you're in the sun. BOOM! You have no comparison.
"And your clothes… er, your clothes are very flashy. You're very attention-grabbing. People will surely adore you when they see you. Your buttons just sparkle like that. Gosh, I don't know what else you'll get along the way. You will be mobbed and you will become very famous. I thought… I thought you didn't want to be seen out in the open. Correct me if I'm wrong." Lia glanced back, biting her lip and pinning a lot of hope.
She couldn't remember when she complimented someone excessively because every time she intended to compliment someone the person would look away in disgust as if Lia was a piece of dirt that needed to be exterminated. After that, there was a sense of relief, and also a strange feeling that Lia had never felt. It was the first time that someone had truly appreciated her compliment, and that person was Prince Aerus. Should Lia be happy? Maybe, because that way she could make his life easier.
Lia took her chance again. She leaned forward and raised her thumbs in the air, right in front of her frail face. "You are the best, you are number one. No one can compare with you."
Prince Aerus smiled again, wider than before. The wind was blowing fresher than before, like bringing joy from heaven that was shed. His golden hair again crunched gently, very handsome.
Lia thought that she had succeeded in tricking Prince Aerus. She waited for a while until she finally had the right time to leave. "Okay, I'll go first. Umm, bye!"
Lia turned around with the lighter leg. The blush on her cheeks was now starting to show under the very light makeup she was wearing. Her steps moved swiftly, and she almost hummed with joy.
She couldn't wait to get to work, so she'd call a friend to come over to her friend's house. Lia would start hiding from Prince Aerus. She took a deep breath and couldn't wait for it.
Until then her footsteps suddenly stopped, because her body was restrained by Prince Aerus' arms that wrapped around her neck and locked Lia's movements even though she didn't choke. Lia gasped in surprise and she looked up reflexively.
Lia almost asked 'what's wrong' but before that Prince Aerus' face was close, perched next to Lia's ear, exhaling seductively. Prince Aerus smirked as Lia pulled her head back to avoid catching his breath. He said, "You think you can fool me? I know that you don't want me to take you to work, so that's why you're talking nonsense to me.
"I know that I'm handsome but in your eyes, I can't attract much of your attention. You still have another man in your heart, in your eyes, and I will not be fooled for that.
"But fine, for this morning I will give you a little space. I'll let you go to work alone, and I won't take you. But don't forget your 'job'." Prince Aerus' breath tickled Lia, as his hand pulled Lia's uniform collar and slowly pulled it aside.
Prince Aerus landed his kiss there, rather long, deep, and intense. The last one was Prince Aerus biting Lia's shoulder lightly, giving her another sign that Lia would not have time to cover up.
Lia closed her eyes, grimaced because she felt a little sore, as well as feeling stung by Prince Aerus' treatment. She clenched her fists, restraining herself from making a sound.
"Did you listen? I'll be waiting for you tonight. Don't try to run away or you will get a very terrible punishment." Prince Aerus lightly kissed Lia's cheek, then on her ear. After a very deep kiss, he let go of Lia.
Frost engulfed Lia as if to bind her because she was too shocked by what she had just felt. She knew that what she got just a moment ago wasn't the worst, because it wasn't the 'main thing''. But still…
Prince Aerus smirked from behind, looking at Lia's figure who was still frozen from something. Unable to stop himself from teasing her, he shouted, "Why are you still standing there? Do you want me to drag you to bed and fuck you right now?"
Prince Aerus chuckled in amusement when he saw Lia say, "No." in a hurry, accompanied by her feet that had been running wildly to leave him.
