Zhou Lei went home with jittering feet, going straight to his bedroom to change his clothes.
He wiped the sweat off his whole body before wearing a sweater.
"Ah, I just remembered... I need to update my novel." Zhou Lei walked to the computer room, opened the computer, and started typing. The sounds of the keys being tapped filled the room.
After about an hour, he finished typing, and stood up. He stretched his limbs, but his feet felt sore, and he went back to sitting down.
"Hmm, about 60 chapters. Is this good?"
.....
Monday.
Walking to school, Zhou Lei attracted attention from all kinds of people.
As this happened in a daily basis, he was already used to this situation. He ate the sandwich he had made as breakfast, but his face scrunched up in disgust.
Why does this sandwich have so little taste?
As such, before he headed out, he woke his sister up to cook for him. Even though she felt baffled, she still gave him a sandwich.
Zhou Lei stared at the two sandwiches on both of his hands. One had a small bite, while one was inside a lunch box.
"...I'm not hungry anymore." Zhou Lei threw the sandwich with the small bite away, proceeding to walk to school with a slow pace.
The sandwich hit the ground.
A pair of eyes stared at it.
Making sure that Zhou Lei was gone, a homeless person picked the sandwich up and swiped the dust off of it. Although there was still a small bit of dust on the bread, the homeless person was satisfied and walked away.
She took a bite.
.....
Zhou Lei laid his head on his desk, the bustle of his class not present unlike in the past.
The silence started when he opened the door to the classroom. Everyone closed their mouths shut as he walked towards his desk.
It had been five minutes since then. Why are you guys so silent?
Zhou Lei stared outside the window, not daring to make eye contact with anyone.
After all, he had been given a full makeover last time he was at school. He was too embarrassed to look at any of them in the eye.
In truth, everyone, aside from a select few, stared at Zhou Lei's firm back, saliva nearly dripping out of their mouths.
"..."
Suddenly, the door opened, with a familiar teacher entering the classroom.
It was Wen Hui.
Even without the mysterious little child's makeover, she was still a stunning beauty to behold.
Wen Hui held a laptop and some envelopes on her chest as she walked in. She laid those few items on her desk before clearing her throat deliberately.
The students snapped out of their dazes as they noticed that their teacher was already here.
They stood up and greeted their teacher, Zhou Lei included.
"Good morning, Miss Wen." Zhou Lei's voice stood out the most.
After the greeting, a smile appeared on almost everyone's faces. Wen Hui was not an exception.
She looked at Zhou Lei suspiciously after. What happened last Friday? Why did he not continue with his plan?
In any case, Wen Hui felt both relieved and disappointed.
She discussed class prospects for an hour before discussing lessons for another. After which, the bell rang, indicating that it was lunchtime.
