38 Meeting

All of the students returned to their classrooms. Only the teachers were left as they stared at the handsome man.

"Um, Sir Principal?" Zhou Lei looked behind him. He didn't remember the principal's name at all...

"Hmm... oh! Uh... what?" The principal was startled. He was thinking about various things when Zhou Lei suddenly called out to him.

"What do you need me for?" Zhou Lei asked nicely. He was very nervous about the principal's answer. If he said that he would be expelled, he would have to plead.

"Ah, that... well..." The principal scratched his head. He didn't have the guts to tell him the reason why he was dragging him somewhere.

Zhou Lei interrupted the principal. He fell down to his knees and pleaded. "Please... please don't expel me!"

He thought that the principal was embarrassed to say it to his face. Of course, who wouldn't be?

The principal was dumbfounded. In the long and quiet hallway, the sound of the handsome man's voice reverberated on the walls.

"E-expel? Why would I expel you?"

"Huh?" Zhou Lei didn't expect this response from the principal. "If you aren't going to expel me, what are going to do?"

"It's like this..." To clear up the misunderstanding, the principal explained to the handsome man his plan.

"Oh! I see... you should've just told me." Zhou Lei nodded as he spoke. He was very relieved to learn that the principal wasn't going to expel him.

"Okay, come with me now." The principal beckoned the handsome man to follow him.

Zhou Lei and the principal resumed walking.

The students were unnaturally quiet. Only the sounds of footsteps could be heard.

The two finally arrived at the teacher's meeting room. The giant mob of teachers following them frowned as soon as they saw the sign.

"A meeting?" Wen Hui was oblivious to all this, so she asked the teacher beside her.

"Ah, yes. We were supposed to fetch you." Ruan Juan answered.

Ruan Juan and Wen Hui always and a bad relationship, due to the matter of Chen Chen. However, both of them now reconciliated since Ruan Juan wasn't in love with Chen Chen anymore.

"You. Go back to your classroom, quietly." The principal sneakily shooed the handsome man away to return to his classroom while the teachers were distracted.

"Ah, yes." Zhou Lei had no problem with it. He just followed the principal, and so he escaped the gazes of the teachers.

"Hmm? Where is the young man?" One teacher pointed out.

"Ah, you're right, he's gone." Another teacher replied with a sad tone of voice.

"Let's go look for him!" Chen Chen suggested to the crowd.

"No!" With the principal's temperament, it was a wonder he could last until right now before he shouted.

All of the teachers were startled. They looked at the angered principal and shuddered.

In the end, they could only frown as they walked inside the meeting room.

Once they were all inside, the principal spoke. "Okay-"

Ring! Ring!

The bell suddenly rang, interrupting the principal. The teachers instinctively stood up and walked towards the door.

"Hey, what are you lot doing?!" The principal hurriedly ran towards the door to block the teachers.

"But it's break time." Wen Hui responded.

"That's for the students!" The principal answered angrily.

"Oh, yeah, that's right..." The teachers sat back down.
