Bailey was infuriated by his stupid daughter who married someone useless. So, he called the bank to freeze her credit cards that the family was paying and cut off a few things. Including her security and VIP access to a few things. He despised her. She's just like her mother who was useless as ever. He just wished that he never had sex with that lowly maid. He wouldn't have that child at all.
Then, here he is in front of his mother and he was so embarrassed in his entire life as he looked at the photo of Katarina with Jason. It should be alright for Katarina and Jason to do such a thing since Victoria was useless, her sister should take that chance to marry someone as rich as them.
"Make sure that this won't come out from the media." She told him.
"Yes, mother." He bowed his head and left. He closed the door and clenched his fist. But maybe it's still good that Victoria isn't here at all. So, his wife wouldn't pretend anymore. She looked happy that Victoria left. Katarina looked happy too. All he had to do is to keep everyone happy, in that way, nothing would make him stressed.
"I can't believe that your daughter married someone useless." His cousin Bryant Parson from his father's side spoke.
"You should watch your mouth, Bryant." He threatened him. "The party is off, you should take your leave."
The man laughed rudely and waved.
"Well, what can I say? She wasn't born to be a Parson at all." He shrugged it off. He glared at his cousin who always got on his nerves.
He kept his head cool as he went down to the great room.

Maverick watched as his best friend cuddled with his wife like she's the best pillow in the world. Or more like, he can't live without her now. She looked drunk and already drowsy although it's just three in the afternoon. Stacey also looked drowsy as she almost tripped many times and he was there to catch her and for her not to get hurt. She has to go to the bathroom many times because of the beer.
"Why won't you sleep first?" Kenzo murmured to his wife's ear. She nodded at him and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Let's go to my room, V! Let's sleep!" Stacey said and waved. Kenzo carried his wife into his arms and took her upstairs.
"Stace! Don't make out with V. She's already married."
"Go and f~ck yourself, Caleb." She exclaimed. Maverick laughed and took out a few bottles and put them on the case.
"Hey, is it okay with you to be a houseboy here? You know, I couldn't ask you yesterday." Caleb asked the dear friend, Maverick.
"It's completely fine with me," Maverick said, happily.
"Don't worry, I'll pay you." Caleb felt bad for making a dear friend be his cousin's houseboy.
"You don't have to," Maverick said and shook his head. "Staying here, with a very elegant room and eating a good meal is enough for me. I can find myself a new job. But, I have to stay here for a while."
"Hmm, okay. But, I'll give you an allowance. I'll also pay for Stacey's electricity. I plan to stay here for a few days since my father and that girl were harassing me." Caleb groaned as he felt so old at the moment.
"I'll serve Lady Stacey well," Maverick promised him. "And I'll do the same to you."
"Geez, you are the best." Caleb raised his thumbs. "What's taking them so long?" He complained. Kenzo came downstairs and approached them. "So, are they making out?"
"Don't be dirty." Kenzo smacked his chest.
"I'm just kidding. Those two are so close to each other like they are real sisters. Somehow, they are like old couples." Caleb said as he swigs the cold beer into his mouth.
"Since the girls are asleep, I have a favor to ask," Kenzo said.
"Yeah, sure," Caleb said.
"I know that I am indebted with you, but I'll pay it all." Kenzo looked at him in the eyes.
"Hey, stop saying that. You two are my only best friends and money isn't a problem. The two of you helped me with business without any exchange."
"That's what friends are for," Maverick said and raised his thumb.
Maverick and Kenzo indeed helped him with the planning although the two didn't completely study business. They were interested in helping him out, so they also helped him study business and other strategies while he would treat them to bars to eat and drink.
"Someone was following my wife," Kenzo spoke. "Last night, there's a car outside our house with binoculars. Then, just recently, we came from their mansion and the same car followed us."
"That's easy," Caleb smirked. He's also planning to run a Detective Agency. Maverick helped him come up with the idea and it's indeed right. It will take years for him to build it since he has to have enough funds. "I know a friend that could help."
"Thank you, Caleb. Don't worry. I'll pay for the expenses, once that I have enough money." Kenzo said gratefully. He could have hugged Caleb at that moment.
"Sure." He winked. Then, he looked at Maverick. "And who were the people after you?" Caleb asked.
"No one…" He shrugged although he knew well who they were.
"It seems that you are in trouble," Kenzo said. He looked up at him.
"They are no one…" Maverick didn't want to tell it. Or else, they will get in trouble too. He didn't want them to get killed by those people. He's powerless at the moment. Soon after he claims his power, he'll protect them.
"So, did you and your wife enjoy your honeymoon?" Caleb asked Kenzo to change the topic.
"Did I already mention that we haven't had sex yet?" Kenzo said. Maverick and Caleb looked at each other and laughed. He shook his head and reached the juice as he frowned at his friends.
"What?" Caleb exclaimed.
"Lots of things came in and she had her period so… that one ruined our honeymoon. But, we'll work it out anytime soon."
"Oh, you should. A girl like Victoria is very rare. Although she had a temper, she's still very kind even though she denies that characteristic." Caleb explained.
"Wow," Maverick commented. "Very down to earth."
"But, if you want to hear all about her, you should ask Stacey. But I have to warn you, Victoria doesn't show how problematic she was unless her mood changes. Stacey always tells me that Victoria has trust issues and now, this happened, her fiance that was now an ex screwed her sister. I think they've been doing it for months." He shrugged. "Her trust in anyone decreases. But this time, you should be watchful over your wife. Parson's aren't really what you think." Caleb warned him like he knew Victoria's family well.
"What do you mean by that?" Kenzo asked.
"Well, they are half royals and commoners. The family wanted to keep their tradition with a clean record. I almost think that there's a big secret in their family." He said in a low voice.
"Like?" Maverick asked. Caleb glanced up at the stairs. He leaned forward.
"Like her father was a narcissist or sadist. I saw him, before my eyes, on how he hurt Victoria when she made a mistake. That's why she's a perfectionist to all lessons and all…" he shrugged.
"How can you say that he's a sadist? It's one of the ways parents lecture their children if they make a mistake." Maverick said.
"Who would hurt a girl with a belt? Well, traditionally, it's part of growing up." Caleb shrugged. "But it looked too much for me. In my opinion, if you want to lecture your children from their mistakes, you have to make them understand that it was a mistake and what to do to correct it."
"You are right," Kenzo said as he thought of his parents. But they are long dead and he didn't remember them vividly. "Then, it's just good that Jason cheated on her and she saw it before it's too late. That man was so high of himself. But I swear, once that I am above him, I will make him pay for every sin that he made to my Jaya."
"You sounded very protective…" Maverick grinned.
"And sexy," Caleb added.
"The two of you should cut it off," Kenzo said. "Let's clean this up and clean the air. So the girls could wake up with a cleanroom."
"Yeah, that's right." Maverick agreed.
Caleb helped out with cleaning but Kenzo and Caleb almost do all of the chores.
