Chapter 26 - Over Protective Hubby

Kenzo put his boxers on as he went downstairs to get her tumbler from the fridge. He couldn't help but smile like crazy as he thought about what he and his wife just did. Her sweet moans and cries were recorded in his mind and it felt like it's still ringing in his ears. He took their couple tumbler. Then, he went upstairs and found her phone making a crazy sound of notification. He frowned and approached the bed. She sat up and took the bottle from him and took a sip.

"What's that?"

"Must be Rose." She said.

"Is he bothering you?" He asked in a low sound.

"Hmm?" She asked.

"That phone has been vibrating while we are making love."

She didn't notice that it was vibrating like crazy.

"Love, report it." He demanded. Harassment was something serious and Kenzo won't tolerate such a thing. Now that his wife was one of the victims, he will surely insist on involving authority.

"I will. He's apologizing, and I'll report him."

"Good." He picked her see-through dress and put it on her. Then, he snuggled beside her and turned off the lights. She took her phone and scrolled the spam messages from Jacob with saying sorry and it won't happen again. She then turned off the notification. He took her phone and put it away. She lay on his chest and put her palm over it. He held it and kissed her forehead.

Kenzo promised to protect her. She might have been harassed many times since she started working at a young age. He pulled the duvet to make sure that she won't get cold.

In the morning, Kenzo noticed 60 messages from her phone. He gritted his teeth and creased his brows. He's angry now. He unlocked her phone since she gave him access to the lock of her phone. He checked the messages and it was spam or sorry and asked her if she's awake. Greeting her good night and that he'll see her tomorrow. He also called her beautiful and said sweet things.

He gets through her contacts and transfers the number to his phone. He blocked his number and put her phone back on the side table. He pulled the duvet to cover it over her shoulder, then, he decided to take his phone and went downstairs to cook for breakfast.

He turned on the music and started cooking a macaroni soup, then sunny-side-up egg, rice, and bacon. It didn't take time for him to cook egg and bacon. He turned on the coffee maker and went upstairs. He turned off the air conditioner, opened the curtains and window to let out the smell of the room.

"Love, wake up." He called. She sat up like a zombie. He took her robe and put it on her.

"What time is it?"

"It's already seven-thirty." He answered as caressed her disheveled hair.

"Oh, shit!"

"It's too early."

"I have a meeting at eight-thirty!"

"Hmm, okay. I'll drive you there. It's easier with a scooter."

"You are my lifesaver."

"Go downstairs and I'll just ready our clothes."

"I already did that." She smiled at him sweetly.

"Oh," Kenzo couldn't be any happier. "Then, I'll prepare the bath."

She chose to wear jeans and a coat. Then, Kenzo helped her put the gears on as he locked the house after pulling out the plugs. Then, he locked the house. He drove his scooter to her office and she's already there ten minutes later. He helped her remove the gears and the helmet. He received a kiss on the lips as she entered the building.

He watched her get in then, he noticed the man who harassed her who also entered the building like he's waiting for her or something. Then, a familiar woman with short hair came out from the taxi. He approached her and she looked surprised.

"Hi," He greeted.

"Hi~~" She looked at both of her sides. He took out her phone.

"Uhm, my wife had a little problem yesterday."

"Wife?" She creased his brows. He removed his riding gloves and extended his right hand.

"I'm Kenzo, Victoria's husband."

Rose shook his hand and nodded.

"I'm sorry to stop you in this part. But, call me if there's an emergency. Victoria would rarely call me if there's a problem. She will think that she's a bother to me. But, call me if something bad happened. Just in case."

"Sure."

He showed his phone to her as she typed her number.

"I'm Rose, by the way."

"Okay." He called her number and Rose's phone rang.

"There," he smiled. "Thank you, Rose."

He bowed his head and quickly went to his scooter and left. He soon reached his office and found the same officer from yesterday just across the road. It seemed like the police didn't notice him or maybe turned away. He suddenly felt nervous by thinking that his killer from years ago found him.

In Victoria's office that she shared with her co-worker. She started setting up for the meeting in the conference, taking the tablet and her notes. Rose approached her.

"Well, I didn't know that you are married," Rose said. Victoria smiled and lifted her left hand where two rings were. Rose reached her hand and creased her brows. "Wait, where's that diamond ring?"

"I sell it." She grinned.

"You are savage!" Rose exclaimed. "But in fairness, your husband now was more good-looking, suaver, and taller than Jason."

Victoria couldn't help but bite her lips as she thought of what happened last night.

"You also looked blooming." Rose teased.

"I'll tell you the details later."

They went to the conference room and put bottles of water on each seat. Then, they sat down as the officers sat down waiting for the boss. Victoria kept her eye on the monitor although she felt that Jacob kept looking at her. Rose turned her to face her.

"Let's go out for a bar tonight," Rose suggested.

"I can't." Victoria declined with a pout.

"You can bring him." Rose teased. She only chuckled.

Their boss entered and the meeting started.

After their meeting, Victoria went to the cafeteria with Rose, and Jacob was following them and even joined them to eat. She didn't eat a lot this time. Then, she waited for Rose to finish. Soon, they went back to their office and Victoria locked the door of her office once Rose was inside.

"So, what are you going to tell me?"

She showed Rose the messages and told them everything that happened yesterday.

"Oh, damn!" Rose crossed her arms, feeling disgusting after reading the messages and listening to her story.

"So, I am going to complain." She decided.

"We should get Dexter here," Rose told. She pulled out her phone to call Dexter. But before even the call, someone knocked on the door. They stopped and Victoria calmed herself as Rose opened it.

"Why is it locked?" Dexter asked with a creased brow. "Are you guys doing something, crazy?" he asked. They chuckled and shook their heads. Rose unlocked the door and peeked outside.

Victoria showed Dexter the messages and he gaped.

"What the fuck?" Dexter exclaimed. Rose and Dexter were her only friends in the office. She's with friends with other teams, but she recognized how two-faced they were when it comes to position and allowances. "I heard that there's an issue with him from the other Plantation. Where his wife came scandalously since he's flirting with one employee."

She crossed her arms.

"I can't believe it."

"We need a drink tonight for that," Dexter said it too.

"Ah~~Okay. But I have to tell my husband first."

Dexter creased his brows and covered his mouth like he's too shocked.

"I thought you broke up with your fiance?"

"No," She chuckled. "I married someone from the bar that night." She chuckled nervously. Rose and Dexter crossed their arms in front of her. "Okay, let's talk about this complaint."

"It'll be the first time that someone would complain. The last content editor had an issue with another officer." Dexter chuckled.

"Hey, she's your friend too." Victoria smacked him.

"But, it's a big scandal." She mumbled. "She said it right into my face that her account has been hacked."

"Yes, and she still had access to it." Rose laughed.

"Damn… they are so caught up," Victoria said. "I should write a complaint right now."

"But, if you write a complaint right now, he'll be terminated. Remember, that man has three kids and his wife doesn't have a work…"

Victoria also felt a little uncomfortable with it if she would write the sexual harassment that has been made. She bit her lip. She shuddered at the thought of another man touching her beside her husband.

"You write too brutal," Rose said. "You can't do that. He'll be poor or something." She shrugged. "But it's your decision."

She had two supportive friends and she hasn't told Stacey. But this is an office matter, she needed to solve it.

"Did he stop texting you?" Dexter asked.

"Well, I told him to stop. He did stop. I think he won't do it again." She shrugged.

"Well, if he does it again, tell the boss," Rose said. "He did mention you to report it to him if anything else happened, right?"

Victoria nodded her head.
