Caleb sets up the table with the pizza over it while he's waiting for her. He even gave her the pajamas that he bought for her back when they were together. He brought it from his house where he always takes care of it. She came out with wet hair and she looked too frail in the pajamas. She was thin and tall. Back then, she had healthy flesh that he sometimes teased her for having a little fat. But now, she looked too different.
He pulled a chair for her.
"Sorry, I didn't bring any hairdryer." He pulled a chair for her. She gave him a tight smile as she sat down. He reached the towel and wiped her hair carefully. Her body was stiffened but she relaxed when she remembered that he used to do it. "Let's just wring your hair."
He then sat down after she's comfortable with it. The two eat their pizza that brings back the old times. The two watched the favorite series that they were watching before they broke up. There were new releases of the comedy-action series and they were watching it.
"I can't believe that they are still together." She mumbled as she sipped on her diet soda. "But it's good that the crime was solved."
"Yup." He nodded and looked at her for a while as a smile drew across his lips. She seemed to be enjoying it.
"I haven't watched the new series since they were released." She told him. "I was too busy with work."
"So, you were leveled up as an acting Chairperson?"
"Yes. The Duke was called by the King. You know, he's the Prince. But after his son was killed and after he sent away his grandson, he took over the position of the Duke. That's why he needs someone to be in the position of Chairperson."
"Why not Secretary Bryan?"
"He has more important things to do. And I think it's tracking the heir of the Duke."
"Which is Kenzo?" Caleb asked.
"Yes." She nodded.
"I never thought that I would be friends with the big time. The Duke of Etrama. Not to mention that he was the Crown Prince when he was young."
"Indeed." She shrugged. "I never thought that the Duke was searching for him all these years."
"And why did Victoria didn't know about him?"
"He's not ready to tell her but he already gave her so much hint. Didn't he?"
"Uh, yeah." He nodded. "Including that unlimited card."

Kenzo was tired from work but he managed to make love to his wife two times in a night. The last time was even more pleasurable. Although he wanted to sleep, he couldn't. He was busy watching his wife sleep and cuddled to his chest. He noticed the rings that she's wearing. Cheap ones. He reached her left and stared at the ring. He just wished that he could give it to her. But it's not ready yet and he's searching for a very perfect gem.
"Hubby," She turned to him. "You need to sleep. You know that I am a light sleeper."
"Sorry," he kissed her temple and hugged her. "Good night."
"Good night."
"I love you." He grinned.
"I love you." She mumbled.
"You are sexy." He said again and she rubbed her but to his crotch.
"Seriously, you have to sleep. You said that you have lots of things to do tomorrow. Right?"
"Yeah, I do." He kissed shoulders. "Now, stop teasing me. Or else, we won't sleep."
She stopped teasing and turned to him instead. Then, she kissed his lips.
"You know love, you have lots of things to do tomorrow after the mess you make."
He chuckled, utterly amused by his wife. He fell asleep after and somehow, he's dreaming of his wedding with her. It's grand and there his parents were alive. They were happy too. The music started and seeing her bride wearing the most beautiful ball gown made his heart flutter. The man who was beside her looked familiar. He frowned seeing a handgun with a silencer. The man was laughing and he suddenly shot his wife right in the head.
He gasped, more like he got startled when he woke up.
"Hubby?" Victoria comes out of the walk-in closet holding his suite. "Are you alright?"
"Y-yeah." He nodded as he groaned a bit.
"Love, why won't you hit the gym a little bit?" She asked him. "I still have to prepare our breakfast."
"Yes, that would be lovely." He slipped off from the bed and kissed his wife's forehead. Then, he went to the bathroom.
His wife was as sweet as ever. She even made him a smoothie to boost his energy for today. When he reached his office, there was lots of paperwork piled on his table. Even Secretary Bryan was busy. But they had to handle it while Kaisley was getting ready for her interview. However, he didn't expect his grandfather and the King to be in his office in the Hotel.
"G-grandpas?" He asked and then he bowed at them.
"I think he got that handsome look from me." The King mumbled from his older brother.
Kenzo laughed as his grandfather Duke Philip shook his head.
"No, brother. He got it from his handsome father, which came from me." Duke Philip told his brother, King Edgar.
The King stood and spread his arms. Kenzo hugged the old man.
"I missed you Uncle Grandpa."
"I know you do." He patted his head. "Kenzo, I won't live long and my doctors said that I won't be able to have any kids because of some dysfunction."
Kenzo gently pushed him.
"I think you aren't that in love with anyone for now." He said as the old men laughed.
"Well, whatever it is. The Etrama family should live. And I need to see your wife."
"She doesn't know yet about my position in the family. But I'll tell her. Just give me a little time or else, she'll hate me."
"Oh, too bad." The old men chuckled. "Well, good luck with that. And I like the show that you made."
"Yes," He nodded as he looked at the television. "I had gathered a few more of it from Kaisley itself."
"What a smart girl? But it's not that smart to get beaten for years by that man." The Duke said.
"Well, grandpa, she was afraid to get disowned by her father. Now, everything will backfire on them." Kenzo sat down and sipped on his smoothie.
"And you didn't bring us a smoothie?" The old man asked him with a frown. Kenzo looked at his smoothie.
"Alright, I'll tell someone to pick up my wife so she can meet you." He pulled out her phone and called his wife. It was ringing and after three rings his wife answered.
"Yes, hubby? You missed me that much?"
"I do. But I have two old men here who wanted some smoothies. I don't have ingredients~~"
"I can make it. Give me their favorite fruits and I'll see what to do."
"Sure, sure. Are you working out?"
"Yes, I am just finishing my yoga."
"Oh, great. Get back to you later love. And I'll send out drivers to pick you up."
"Don't be silly."
"I insist. I'll see you later. Bye."
"Bye."
He looked at the old men who were grinning ear to ear.
"What?" Kenzo asked them.
"Well, you are grown up. You looked like a teenager while speaking to your wife." Edgar said with a loud laugh. Then, the old men were talking about their old days in high school.
The door opened as Kaisley entered followed by Caleb. She was wearing a very conservative dress. She curtsied to them as Caleb bowed.
"Well, darling. It seems like you have the battle to fight." The King said as Kaisley bowed her head. "Kick their asses. They've been causing a lot of trouble in the community, including that spoiled brat which turned out to be your husband."
Kaisley was puzzled as she stared at the King.
"Pardon me, your majesty?"
"Their family was one of the biggest asses in the community. They took poor people's land by threatening them and buying it after." The King told. "I've been attentive to those people and it seemed like my grandson needed to do some cleaning."
"So, I've been married to a scam family all these years?" Kaisley asked.
"Uh, yes," Kenzo said. "Sorry, Kaisley." Kenzo shrugged.
"Well, then." She shrugged back. "Let's just pull them down."
Kenzo knew that Kaisley had enough with how they treated her and he's doing it for his friend Caleb. He looked at Caleb as his best friend looked back at him.
"My friend Cal will help with that." He told them.
Kaisley felt a little uncomfortable but then Caleb smiled.
"We are doing our best to make sure that all of the proof that we have is probable and not fabricated."
"That's what I like about you! Fair and square!" The Duke complimented Caleb.
"Thank you, your grace."
"Now, let's start the show?" Kenzo asked Kaisley who nodded.. She curtsied as Caleb bowed.
