After that long vacation, Victoria visited her grandmother first in the spring and chatted with her. However, she couldn't tell her what kind of situation that she was in. Whatever it was, her mother always said that she's proud of her and Victoria promised to visit her as if she had time. Her schedules were already set up and it's all over the news that Kaisley Bolton is now Kaisley Etrama, an adopted grandchild of Prince Philip. Everyone is busy in the Grand Hotel, and she became busy too.
At this moment, she's reading documents as the assistant that the Duke hired was helping her with her studies. She knew a lot about history but she had to learn it again. Since she's from a noble family, the few professors aren't that hard to teach her the etiquette a Duchess should have. Also, she won't have social media, it'll be facilitated and checked before she posts anything.
However, Victoria only had a private account where she had only five friends, she also had few followers but mostly, she would only post about the cafe and foods.
There were lots of rules in the Royal Family but the Prince and the King said that she didn't need to follow it all. Everything is already old. One thing that she shouldn't do is to tell the secrets of the royal family. She should follow them and assist the Duke. She could still do things that she wanted if she wanted to add them to her schedule. And her first project is to fund a house for the homeless.
In Great Greivania there were lots of refugees and the country was providing them with food, jobs, and an ID to indicate that they were refugees. Of course, there's a law that they have to still follow the rules. Most of them came from different countries to survive and mostly, refugees are just like other normal people in the country of Great Greivania, to survive and to live.
The King and aristocrats gave them choices. But she doesn't want to get involved in such a thing. Her role is to be the Duke's partner and his wife.
"So, what would you like to do when you were in Westeria, your grace?" Her assistant asked and she smiled.
"I just want to assist my husband." She answered. "But I am sure that I'll provide anything he wants, perfectly." She mumbled.
"Why would you worry about perfection? There's no such thing as perfect, your grace." Assistant Pauline said. Her amber hair was perfectly shiny and healthy and she never saw such beautiful hair.
"Question, do you always go to the salon? Your hair is so beautiful." Victoria complimented as Assistant Pauline flushed.
"No, Madam. I usually use natural ingredients."
"Is that so?" Victoria twisted her lips. "Well, natural ingredients are better than chemicals." She stood and stretched a little bit. "We should go to the cafe for a break. I need some air."
"Yes, Ma'am."
Victoria went to visit Kenzo's office which is just on Kaisley's Presidential floor. The guard let her in and she entered her husband's office. He was busy scribbling on the documents and it's the first time seeing her husband this serious and focused. He didn't even notice her as she approached the table and smiled.
"Kenz," She called and Kenzo looked up and his creased brows relaxed.
"Baby!"
"Well, you shouldn't crease your brows. You'll get wrinkles fast."
He smiled and put down his pen as he extended his hand as she reached it. He gently squeezed it and he stood to bend down to kiss it.
"What can I do for my beautiful wife?"
"Kenz," She pouted at him.
"Well, my Duchess?" He grinned.
"I am off to walk and buy some tea from the Tea House." She told him. "As a normal person. I might not be able to buy my favorite fruit tea if I become a complete Duchess…" She stammered.
"Okay." He let go of her hand as he walked around and hugged her from behind. "But I need to power up first." And kissed her cheeks. They stayed like that for a while and Kenzo turned her around and kissed her lips. "I want the best-iced fruit tea, okay?"
"Sure, my love." She kissed his lips. He finally let her go and waved at her.

Kenzo just realized that sitting for long isn't good for the body. That's why whenever he's reading a document, he would use the treadmill to walk while reading. Sometimes, his secretary reads it for him while he's walking on the treadmill so he won't ruin his shape. But his wife visited him which is the best and lifted his mood. The office should be close to his wife so he could release some stress anytime he wanted. He liked it whenever his wife visited him.
"Lord Kenzo," Kaisley entered the room and delivered the documents by herself. "These are documents that need your signature."
Kenzo nodded.
"Also, we are processing the documents needed for the new project. The Duchess wanted to get involved with it."
"Sure," Kenzo looked up at her. "The Duchess shouldn't be involved in any scandal for a moment. Make her an anonymous donor for a while."
"Yes, sir."
Kenzo already spoke to his wife about this, including to the restaurant for people who are starving. They won't release any names for the donors, although it was facilitated by Kaisley. Victoria agreed to keep as anonymous so it won't stir up any commotions. Who knows what trick anyone would put on the projects?
Victoria wanted to keep it as anonymous as always.
"By the way, does the duchess plan to open up a shop?"
"Not that I know of. But I don't want her to be stressed so much. She can do anything she wants and at the same time do the Duchess's duty."
"Yes, your grace. I think she will go to an orphanage. There were few orphanages from the isolated place."
"Those are the right things," Kenzo mumbled.
"I will be going now. I think I left Lwazi earlier than I expected. Grandpa wanted me to manage the headquarters."
"Hmm," Kenzo sighed. "Alright, I'll see you back there."
Kaisley curtsied and left.
Kenzo reached for the documents and read them. Somehow, he suddenly felt lazy. He looked at the time and the door opened and his wife entered with paper bags.
"Love! They even have a nice tumbler and we can refill it at their store."
She put it over his table and took out an adorable 600ml tumbler with a straw. It was covered in a thermal bag so it'll remain cool.
"600ml, dear?" He was surprised.
"It has lots of fruits." She took it out and reached for the tissue to wipe it.
His eyes widened.
"Is that fruit tea with real fruits around?" he asked.
"Yes,"
"I think I need that." Kenzo smiled at her and she showed another.
"What would you like?"
"I like those kiwis."
She walked around and served it to him with the desserts.
"Since you don't like sweets, I ordered dark chocolate and fruit cake."
"Uh, this is good."
She stood behind him and massaged his shoulders.
"Love, will you be very busy when we move out of this City?" She hugged his neck.
"I will be. There will be meetings with aristocrats and with the King and also with the family business."
"Hmm," She pouted at him.
"I will definitely take you. Unless the place is dangerous." He turned his head and kissed her cheeks. "Let's eat our afternoon snack, quick." He said.
"There were lots of papers." She sighed and unwrapped her arms.
She took the drinks and cakes to the coffee table and set it up. He followed her and sat beside her. He reached the bottle and sipped on it.
"It's not too sweet at all, but fruity!" Kenzo said.
"I will try to make it in the house." She smiled at him. "But I want to visit grandma in the manor for a while and explain to her about our move to the capital."
"Okay," he smiled. "You'll be escorted by bodyguards."
"You don't have to." She smiled at him and started feeding him. His eyes twinkled and chewed on the food. "This will give you a little sugar rush." She giggled. "We can make love tonight if you aren't that tired."
He stopped for a while and nodded vigorously. She giggled and fed him more.
"By the way, is it alright if you went alone inside the mansion?" He asked. "I don't trust your family at all, except grandma."
"Yes," She fed him more.
"Are you sure that you want to leave tomorrow?" he asked again.
"Uh, why?" she asked him. Victoria still has no idea about Kenzo's special day tomorrow. Also, he changed his birthday for next month to cover up his identity.
"Well, I want to relax a bit with you. I'll finish all my work for tomorrow."
Her eyes twinkled and she nodded at him.
"Okay! We still have two weeks here, right?"
"Yes," he smiled and scooped her face.
"Then, what do you want to eat tomorrow? I'll wake up early to prepare breakfast for us!"
"I'll eat anything, love." He reached her chin. "You don't have to try so hard. I love the way you are, my Duchess." He kissed her lips and her cheeks flushed, bright.
"Why do you always say the right words?" She asked and pouted at him.
Sometimes, when you are in love, romantic words just come out naturally. Kenzo didn't need to try hard. He was always sincere to her because every woman deserved to be treated that way.
"Well, you can say that I am just handsome.." Kenzo teased and she laughed, girlishly.
