After four days in the hospital, she was finally discharged, Victoria had sort symptoms. She vomits three times a day and has a massive headache. However, she gets through it and there's no blood clotting at the back of her head. Vivien even escorted her to the penthouse in the Golden Palace Hotel. Although she was injured, she was still happy. So happy that she got to mix fruit teas with Vivien and she even taught her sort of things.
This time, Caleb and Stacey visit her since she's leaving Lwazi with Kenzo tomorrow. That's why everyone is here. Later, she'll have to visit her grandmother.
Back in the hospital the time that her grandmother visited her, she told her everything. From the very start.
Her grandmother was crying in front of her as she told her that the maid who always makes her tea was a young girl. She's at the age of eighteen when she started working for their family. She's kind, gentle, and beautiful. The way that her grandmother spoke about her biological mother was full of longing and regrets. Her father raped her mother almost every night and every time he got drunk.
And during her mother's off day, she was locked somewhere in the mansion to use her all over again. Until two months later, she got pregnant and cried in front of Lady Regina. Victoria's heart felt like it's been stabbed many times whenever her grandmother would say sorry. She only wanted to save both of them from embarrassment. The truth was, her mother wasn't a seductress. She was molested by her father. If only Katarina knew about it, she knew that she still won't feel sorry for what she did. Katarina would side with the lie because what she believes in is what matters.
Regina mentioned that she gave her mother enough money to start a new life away and soon, she could meet her in a good life. But, ironically, she knew all of it because of what Katarina did. Also, she had known her mother in a bad way. But she believed Regina that her mother wanted to take her and begged not to take Victoria. She wanted to meet her mother after what Regina told her. She wanted to feel her embrace too.
"Where's Kenzo?" She suddenly asked and looked around.
"Kenzo said to you that he has to check something on the other city," Vivien said and she damn forgot about it.
"Oh, right." Victoria giggled. She's overthinking so much that she forgot that her husband spoke to her an hour ago.
"Do you feel pain?" Stacey asked and hugged Victoria.
"A little bit. It feels like my brain is shaking." Victoria smiled awkwardly.
"Then, you should sleep," Stacey said. "Soon, we will be in Marduque, very much close to Westeria and I'll visit you. I was quite busy with few things and with Cal's project that's why."
"Project?" She asked and sipped on the chamomile tea that Lady Vivien.
"I am animating the presentation and I am sure that it'll be a big surprise to everyone!" Stacey said enthusiastically.
"That's great!" She nodded at her.

Parson Mansion
Kenzo wore his usual office work outfit without the badges and casual shoes. At the moment, he remained casual and simple as always. He first greeted Lady Regina and promised her that he won't give her a headache. He only came to give her gifts, massager, and tea for her health. Victoria was worried about her and since his wife was too tired and always had a headache, plus she had a trauma in the mansion, he didn't take her with him.
"Are you sure about that?" Regina asked.
"Yes, grandma. You don't have to worry about me. I will just speak to my father about what he did to Victoria. Besides, we are family after all."
"Thank you so much, Kenzo. It is right that my granddaughter married you."
Kenzo smiled as he was escorted by the mansion's security to the guest house as his two professional bulky bodyguards tag along. At the time that they reached the guest house, security opened it. It indeed felt like they were in prison. They can't go out and the security are around to make sure that no one can get out. However, the guest house was still grand but not as grand as the mansion. There's no maids or butlers around and their food was served three times a day.
Dana was serving her husband when suddenly they all stopped and turned their heads to Kenzo. His bodyguards stayed at the door and Kenzo stared at Bailey.
"What a surprise?" Bailey scoffed. "After what you've done, you still have the gut to show up."
"After what you've done to my wife, you still have the guts to be sarcastic," Kenzo said calmly that made Bailey shut up. He crossed his legs and waved off Dana.
"What do you want?"
"I want you to sign a few papers. Like not showing up in front of my wife; tricking her by using Lady Regina; touching her, and the most important thing is hurting her physically and emotionally. That also goes for your wife and your daughter."
Bailey's brows creased, his wrinkles were more visible.
"What do you mean?" Bailey stood.
"Jaya Victoria is my wife. I am her legal guardian now." He said aloud. "I won't tolerate anyone bullying my wife. I don't care if you said harsh words toward me. But not to my wife. You see, my wife was tortured by you even at a young age. Is it because you missed torturing her biological mother?" Kenzo smirked as horror showed in the couple's face. Even Dana nearly dropped the teapot. "Yes, I know everything." He smirked. "Grandmother tells everything to Victoria too. That you raped the maid, locked her up… and then, your wife showed up that she seduced you to save your face. Even your narcissistic daughter did."
"You!" Bailey's hands had been shaking as he heard those words in his head. "How dare you accuse me!"
"I know that you are a smart man, Lord Bailey. But you are fool enough not to accept your mistakes. My wife has been suffering from trauma, every day and every night. Now, I want to make your days and nights a little traumatic. But it's not enough on what you did to her." Then, he glared at Dana. "Including you, Dana. If you hurt my wife again, that also goes for you, Katarina." He glanced at Katarina coldly who was standing in the middle of the staircase. "I won't think twice of revealing every single dirty thing in your lives."
Bailey couldn't take the anger in his head. It was boiling like crazy, like a pot on the stove, whistling in heat. But before he could even touch Kenzo, an inch away, Bailey was pushed by Kenzo's bodyguard.
Kenzo scoffed.
"This house arrest is not enough from what you did to Victoria. I'll give you a gift that would make you even crazier…" Then he glanced at Dana. "A gift that would shake your world." He turned back as his bodyguard opened the door for him.
Back to Golden Palace Hotel.
Kenzo quickly approached his wife who looked tired and in pain. He kissed her and mumbled a few love words.
"Alright, we are going to leave," Stacey said and reached for her purse. "I know that you can't use any phone because of radiation, but ask your assistant to message me that you arrived well and safe."
"Yes, Stace. Thank you." Victoria smiled sweetly. Caleb hugged Victoria lightly and Vivien also said goodbye as she needed to pack up for tomorrow.
"I'll be with you tomorrow, dear," Vivien said softly and kissed her forehead.
"Okay," She smiled at them and Kenzo led them outside to thank them.
Kenzo quickly came back and carried her back to their bedroom.
"I'm going to the bathroom." She said softly. He helped her and escorted her to the bathroom. Then, he went to the closet to change his clothes and prepare one for her. The time that she came out, nearly stumbling because of a headache, Kenzo was quick when he caught her. She smiled at him and he carried her to bed. "I'm sorry, love. Am I a burden?" She asked.
"No. Never. I could carry you every day and every night until we grow old." He kissed her forehead. Then, he carefully removed her dress to change it.
His chest felt heavy and so his eyes. He hates seeing her like this. However, he could get through anything for her. But asking him if she was a burden was even more painful. His wife was selfless, she would always think of others before herself. That's why he must give everything to her. Although she would say that it's enough, for him, giving her the world is not even enough. Both of them are not flawless. But Kenzo loved her perfectly and without any doubt.
"I like dressing you up like this." He grinned. She giggled at him.
"I just wish that it was in a different scenario. Maybe when I am drunk?"
"That would be even better?" he kissed her lips passionately. "Then, maybe after rough passionate sex. Damn, I might be able to get enough of it."
She laughed but then stopped and winced.
"Okay, time to sleep, baby."
"Kenz, where did you go today?" She asked. He carefully tucked her in before answering.
"I visit grandma to give her massager and tea."
"Thank you for looking over grandma."
"Of course," he kissed her lips.. "I would do everything for you."
