Chapter 152 - The Game Room

Kaisley received another box. It was unknown but there's a seal of Edward. She knew who it came from and when she opened it, her eyes widened at the little tiara with emeralds on it.

"You'll be wearing that on every special ball and any party from the nobles." Prince Philip told her.

"Thank you."

They opened a few more boxes and there were sets of expensive teacups from the Marquess. Stacey and Maverick gave them one box but Stacey already texted Kaisley that the other gift would be later. They guess something sexual and Kaisley only lets the couple. Then, the party went on and they went to the game room.

The boys had their game room and drinks while the girls had their game room. They are currently playing poker in that room and betting using chips. Somehow, Hardin was good at it and his father started speculating that he was gambling all the time. But the second time, the King won, and then, next was the Duke. The Duke kept winning until everyone gave up. Kenzo was the first one to give up and throw all of his chips. Now, he owes them one million.

"Damn this is hard," Caleb grumbled.

"Well, the three of you gave me great-grandchildren instead of money. I have lots of money, so…" The King shrugged, saying it to look cool.

"Oh, please! You need money to feed your great-grandchildren." Prince Philip exclaimed as Lord Hardin and Lord Hansen were chuckling. It's indeed their first time to gamble with the royals. Caleb, Maverick, and Kenzo look drained after gambling with their grandfathers.

"How are the girls doing?" Kenzo wondered.

Meanwhile, in the other room where the girls hang out. The girls are busy planning for Kaisley's wedding that was moved to tomorrow together with her coronation. They want it simple and of course, every noble and people close to them are invited. But she doesn't want it to be grand at all. However, since the coronation and wedding were in one event, Kaisley still wanted to play for their private wedding in five months.

Then, next would be Duke Maverick and Stacey's wedding. However, the Duke will have a grand proposal for her.

"My dear, I know it's a little bit harsh to ask. But is your father invited?" Lady Regina asked.

Kaisley thought for a while and shook her head.

"I hate to say it, but I don't want my father to be there." Kaisley held her hand tightly. "I don't want my relationship with Caleb to go for nothing. We have built our relationship for so long. He doesn't care when Caleb wasn't the heir of their family business. But now that he's on top, I don't want him to ruin our relationship because of business."

"Hmm," Regina nodded. "Sometimes, involving the family in business is quite hard. You know… they are mostly the unexpected traitors. For greed, fame, status, and money, they could do anything."

"You are right, Lady Regina." Kaisley agreed.

"I know that you'll do better here. Also, those old men are happy to have you." Regina said sincerely.

Kaisley nodded and looked at Victoria and Stacey who cheered her up.

"Now, let's check on the boys!"

Kaisley took out the tablet and showed it to the big screen as the King was laughing so loud and throwing the chips. Kenzo, Caleb, and Maverick look devastated like they lost a lot of money. Those three boys don't usually spend money for nothing. They don't even have collections of expensive shits that other rich kids have.

"Oh, geez they haven't changed a lot." Lady Regina said as they looked at her.

"So, the granddads usually gamble?" Victoria asked with creased brows. Her curiosity kills a lot.

"Yes. Back in University. Our pastime is gambling and other luxurious stuff." Regina answered.

"Lady Regina, they are completely different from their grandchildren."

"Yes, they are." Regina chuckled. "On the other hand, those two oldies could do everything to protect their family."

Victoria, Stacey, and Kaisley thought the same thing. They are in a beautiful family. Although some people thought that the Royal Family had lots of flaws and dark secrets, it seemed like they were in good hands. They love their partners and they dote on them like real granddaughters.

"Hey, Lord Hardin. Why aren't you engaged yet?" Kenzo asked who sounded drunk.

"Well, uh~~nothing captures my heart, Duke Kenzo," Hardin said.

"Kenzo is not good at handling alcohol," Kaisley told Victoria. They kept watching on the tablet.

"I never saw him drunk. He mostly let us get drunk." Victoria said as Stacey nodded to agree.

"He's damn straightforward." Kaisley grinned.

They kept spying on the boys as Lord Hansen was laughing.

"Oh. Then, my wife captured your heart?" Kenzo asked straightforwardly. There's a long silence between all of them as Hardin scratched the back of his head.

"Well, momentarily, she does. She's a kind person. She's compassionate. She's beautiful." Hardin said sincerely.

Kenzo frowned.

"Duke Kenzo, you shouldn't ask things that would make you jealous. At this moment, the Duchess is my sister." Hardin said, sounding cool.

"Woah, your brother is so cool!" Stacey exclaimed as Victoria agreed.

"Look at those cute dimples." Victoria complimented.

"I swear if your husband heard you. He'll get extremely jealous. Look at that flushed face now." Harriet told Victoria while Lady Regina and Lady Vivien giggled.

"She is. That's why I love her." Kenzo leaned on his seat, crossed his arms, and bowed his head. He was breathing but they stared at him.

"Oh, is he done?" Prince Philip asked. "Why is this boy's low alcohol tolerance?" He pushed his grandson's left arm and he fell on the right side but Maverick's reflexes were fast and he caught him.

"Damn! Knockout!" The King said aloud and raised his hands. "Now, who's next?" He eyed Caleb who quickly raised his hands.

"Kenzo is so cute," Victoria said while watching the boys laughing. They were also laughing. "Should I pick him up?" She asked.

"Dear, you can't carry that man," Vivien told her. "I'm sure that the boys would take him back here."

"Now take him to the sofa." Prince Philip told the boys.

They were careful with the Duke.

"He better not puke." Prince Philip chuckled.

"My poor hubby." Victoria pouted with creased brows.

Victoria didn't think twice and left their room.

"These old men are a headache." Lady Regina said. "I like watching how they had fun, but poor Kenzo needs to sober up."

"We should get him back to his wife," Maverick said. "He kept mumbling Victoria's name."

"Kenz, you are such a party popper!" Caleb exclaimed.

Then, after a short moment, they watched as Victoria entered to rescue her husband.

Victoria pouted and scolded her grandfather.

"Darling, we are just testing him." The old men laughed. They were completely drunk but hadn't passed out yet. They continue with another set of games.

"Granddads, you shouldn't drink a lot. It's bad for your health." She scolded them.

"Don't worry, dear. I won't drink another glass again. I'll just finish this." Prince Philip said.

"You better be. I'll take Kenzo to our room."

"Okay, go away."

Maverick and Hardin helped together to take Kenzo to his room. Kenzo dove on the bed and Victoria told them that she's going to take care of it.

Now that they are alone, Victoria started with removing his shoes and socks. Next, she removed his top and belt. It's quite tiring since her husband was big and heavy. Once she removed his pants, she tapped his cheeks.

"Love, move to the pillows."

He groaned and reached his arm.

"Jaya." He called.

"Hmm?" She crawled on top of him and kissed his lips. "Come on big boy. Go to the pillows." She moved to his side and helped him.

He searched for it and slowly moved to the pillows. He held his wife's arm again.

"Do you want water?" She asked.

"No." He somehow reached the lace of her dress and caressed it. "I want you."

She stared at him.

"Are you drunk? Or is that your way to leave them and get to me?" She smirked.

"I'm partially drunk. But I want you, my love."

She flushed a little. She never speaks to Kenzo when he was drunk. When Kaisley mentioned that he's super straightforward, her heart started melting with his sweet comfort words.

"Although you always have that doubt in your head, insecurity, anxiety and call it whatever. I still love you. I always want you. I want to protect you so much. I don't care how much it'll cost me. I just want you… to be happy. To be free from those negative thoughts… you are the first woman that I had ever loved, my Jaya Victoria."

"Hmm," She leaned closer and admired his frank words.

"You are always cute even when you are crying. Although most of your tears made my heart hurt so much."

He reached her face. His thumb carefully caressed her lips.

"You were such a sexist mess that night that you asked me to marry you." He grinned. "Now come on, undress, and ride on me until to your heart's content."

"Love, I'm not that horny." She moved closer to him and kissed her lips. "I also don't like the smell of alcohol in you."

"Then, I'll brush my teeth so you can kiss me and ride on me." He sat up and crawled off the bed. He stumbled many times, but he still walked to the bathroom. His wife followed him and helped him.

While he's brushing his teeth, Victoria slid her hand to his boxer shorts and started stroking him.

"You are so handsome." She said softly.

He quickly washed his mouth and wiped it.. Victoria holds him steadily and takes him to bed.
