Viscount Erickson Residence
Ten men had gathered after they heard that the Duchess of Westeria, Crown Princess of Great Greivania, was sick for days. They started discussing the upcoming events that the Duchess should attend but they also discussed that the Duchess also got sick when she was in Spania.
"If the Duchess couldn't give heirs to Etrama, I think it's better if we suggested a concubine to the Crown Prince." Count Belmont said. A lot of them agreed to it.
"That's right, my daughter was one of the candidates for the Prince's partner and just after he was gone, he came back suddenly with a wife." Viscount Erickson nearly spat it. After they heard that Crown Prince Kenzo came back and married, they were having doubts about it. Now that the wife continues being sick, it only means that she's not capable of giving birth. They also found out that she was infertile.
"Let's suggest concubines to the Duke, then.. It's nearly a year after he got married. She should be pregnant by now." Viscount Reed said. As other ministers agreed.
It was half of the ministers who came to Viscount Erickson's residence to discuss something. It may sound like treason but none of them would record or tell as if it was a secret meeting or rather a small dinner party.
Their main goal was to get one of their daughters to be the Crown Prince's lover and if they have offspring, it will be their chance to get higher rank and to be a Royal. They were smirking inside their heads rather than being concerned about the royal family.
Lady Valerie served the fruits to them and her father and other men were laughing about some joke. But she smiled when her father was praising her in front of those gentlemen. It's time to boost their family. She went out and smiled at her mother.
"The herbs are ready to give to the Duchess." Viscountess Valentina holds her daughter's hand. "You know what to do, right? Kenzo was after all your childhood friend and the Graces linked you to him."
"I know, mother." Valerie smiled charmingly. "I shall comfort the Duke."
They went to Valerie's room to get her ready. They even have her long dress tailored and her coat. She was so beautiful as she looked at herself in the mirror. She's sure that she's more beautiful than the sick wife. The Duke must be lonely. She just knows how to comfort Kenzo even back when they were kids.
She got ready as she left their house earlier. Her residence in Westeria was also ready. It was an hour's drive and she wanted to go there late just to comfort the Duke. The guards hold her momentarily and it takes ten minutes until they let her into the castle. It's nine in the evening when she entered. The first thing she met was the handmaiden of the Duchess.
She heard laughing from the wall. Laughing of the Duke and the Duchess. She was stunned seeing the beautiful Duchess wearing a long beautiful tailored robe while she's holding the Duke's hand. They seemed to be laughing over something and she never expected that the Duchess looked so well although she lost weight.
The couple stopped and looked at her. She quickly curtsied to them.
"I apologize for coming late, your graces. I was passing by when I heard about your health."
"Who are you?" Victoria asked. She was again surprised and at the same time a little annoyed.
"I'm Lady Valerie, daughter of Viscount Erickson." She said softly.
"What brought you here?" Kenzo spoke and she lifted her eyes to the handsome Duke.
"I~I heard about the Duchess's health."
"It's late, Lady Erickson," Kenzo said. Was that the only reason that you thought of?"
Victoria smacked her husband.
"My mother has a tonic to help the Duchess." She looked at her handmaiden who was holding the tonic and kept her head down.
"Thank you, Lady Erickson," Victoria said softly. She approached the Lady. "I'm sorry if my husband was a little rude. But it's indeed late."
Victoria looked at her handmaiden who reached the tonic.
"Thank you for your gift and care. Please send my regards to your mother."
"Ye~Yes, your grace. Thank you." She was even more surprised that the Duchess was kind but she knew that it was just a façade like she was doing.
"Thank you for bothering me so much, Lady Erickson. Please have a safe trip." Victoria smiled as she turned back and reached her husband's hand.
Kenzo's mood has been spoiled and so, Victoria tapped his arm not to do such faces. The couple walked away.
Lady Erickson dashed off the castle, annoyed and angry. She has never been humiliated in her life like this. Their family was decent and reputable. She hated to disappoint her mother or her father. It seemed that the Duke hated her because she's the daughter of Viscount Erickson. She thought that it was personal.

Victoria lay on her husband's naked chest and caressed his soft abdominal. She looked up at him and he seemed to be thinking deep while staring at the ceiling of their four-poster bed.
"Love," She called softly. He and he continued caressing her hair.
"Hmm?"
"Why are you rude toward her?"
He looked down at her and kissed her forehead.
"Love, trust me. I have every right to be rude to her and her family."
Victoria still doesn't understand. If her husband felt that to the Erickson family, then she just brushed it off and kissed her husband's nipples. He grinned and held her head.
"Darling, the doctor said that you can't do something extreme." He said and caressed her hair.
"I know." She sighed and snuggled to him more and squeezed him a little. "You are so irresistible!" She pouted at him. "I love you so much."
He chuckled as he stared down at her beautiful face.
"I love you, too much." He answered back. "Maybe after a week if you don't get sick again, we can do that thing that you always thought."
"Let's do something crazy, like a role play. I need it in my manuscript."
"Are you going to wear something leather? Or shiny?" he shrugged. She burst into laughter and covered her mouth.
"Maybe." She sighed. "But I was thinking of medieval times. I want to make sexy medieval stuff."
She kept caressing his hard abdomen and slid her hand under the duvet to reach his manhood.
"Love," He shook his head. "I don't want to ram on you."
She giggled and rubbed it up and down.
"I think we need something slippery to make this work."
She sat up and went through the drawer as she took the lubricant. Victoria, a good wife, wanted to spoil her husband with so much love. She used both of her hands to do it and Kenzo was having that beautiful sexy expression. She can't use her mouth even if she wanted to. But since I was sick yesterday, she doesn't want to give him a bigger problem.
"Victoria," he scooped her face. "You are a tease." He growled and lay back down and made those adorable sexy sounds that turned her on. After he came he relaxed while she cleaned up his mess. He then grabbed her down and opened her robe. He started becoming a little aggressive on removing her underwear and she tried to stop him.
"Kenz," She giggled. "We can't do it."
"But I can do it." He winked at her as he shoved his face between her legs.
Victoria was surprised by his move. But then, she loves every part of it. She loves every millisecond of it.
After Victoria fell asleep, Kenzo carefully slipped off from the bed and covered her enough with the duvet to make her warm. He kissed her head as he went to his study room. He sat down, turned on his laptop. He put his earpiece on and listened to the report of the meeting of the ministers with Viscount Erickson. He already thought about this. He had a maid planted there and he was listening to the last conversation that led to treason. They want to dethrone his wife because she's infertile.
She might be infertile but there's a big chance that she can normalize her hormones and become fertile again. He will do everything to make his wife happy and if she says that she wanted babies, she would have it. He will have the best doctors checked on her. He will have to wait until they suggest he has lovers so those concubines would conceive his bastards.
He removed his earpiece in anger after hearing their conversation. He leaned on his seat and shook his head.
"Assholes, how dare you say such a thing to my wife." He grumbled. He called the Doctor even though it's late. The doctor answered right away. "Bring an obstetrician. The best one in our country by tomorrow. My wife needs to be checked."
"Yes~Yes your grace."
"Thank you." He hung up and exhaled softly. He still feels betrayed by the people whom he thought would help him protect the people of their country.
