20 Still Look Handsome Anyway

Arya had a very peaceful and a straight sleep last night. "Did he come last night?' She thought inwardly when she saw her empty side as she woke up.

Then she heard a click on the door, it was Ryu wearing a shades. "Let's have breakfast here at the balcony. I ordered a room service," he said smiling. He was on his casual outfit already and was looking as handsome as ever. But, the shades seem inappropriate at this hour inside her room.

Arya's forehead wrinkled. "Why are you wearing shades early in the morning? And didn't you sleep here last night?" she asked while she rose up from the bed and tied her hair up in a bun. Then she did some stretching.

Ryu did not answer and just watched her behind his shades. Arya frowned and asked again, "Hey I said what's with the shades?"

Ryu finally smiled at her and said, "I got hit by a sleeping log last night."

He was embarrassed to even tell Arya that she was the one responsible for him wearing shades. Last night, he actually crawled on her but was pushed out by her strong arms followed by a flying kick that landed to his face and had caused a bruise below his right eye.

But he did still sleep beside her, it was just he was practically restless the whole night where Arya will move suddenly and laid her arm heavily on him followed by her legs. Not that he was complaining though but he felt that he was like beaten up or mistreated the whole night with her various and extreme movements and re-positioning.

Arya walked towards him and removed his shades. "I did that?" she asked casually. She knew that she was a boisterous sleeper especially when tired or in a good night sleeps. Most of her classmates whom she had slept with during an overnight group projects or sleepovers will complain about her on that.

She laughed seeing Ryu's bruise. "Sorry I forgot to tell you about my sleeping habits but I'm not always like that, maybe seldom only." Then she winked at him.

She leaned closer and give his bruise a quick peck kiss and said, "There, accept my apology. You still look handsome anyway." Then she smiled and quickly kissed him once more on his lips before turning around from him.

Ryu's heart was melting at her simple and sweet gesture. He was not moving at all as he stared lovingly to Arya who walked towards the restroom.

'Being kicked was not that bad anyway.' He thought inwardly as he walked to the door when he heard the door bell which was probably the room service.

Arya had a rehearsal this morning while he was free all day. He just dropped her off to the rehearsal venue.

"Go to Mr. Yamato's house." He instructed to his driver afterwards.

Mr. Yamato was a good and close family friend. He was finalizing a deal with him pertaining with his company.

"Oh you are alone this time, where's your tamer?" Mr. Yamato asked jokingly. He had known Ryu since his childhood and had witnessed how the man had grown up.

Ryu was a good person but he considered him as a cold person with an expressionless face as always that was why he was so surprise to see how caring he can be for the first time with a woman.

He even reprimanded her daughter for pestering him to set her up with Ryu because he thought that Ryu's type will not be someone who was capable for being a family oriented person. His daughter was still young and was probably deceived by Ryu's handsome appearance.

He just obliged to his daughter on convincing Ryu but he was actually thankful Ryu was refusing him. He was not judging Ryu, but he had witnessed his aloofness at most of the times.

"Why are you still here? I thought your flight was today morning?" he asked casually as he instructed his servant to serve them tea.

"I just dropped Arya on her rehearsal and your home was just near so I decided to visit you for a chat." Ryu answered simply. He liked Mr. Yamato who was an easy person to deal with.

Supposedly, it was his flight back home but he decided to extend his stay to accompany Arya until her check-out and had booked the same flight as hers. Arya was on a business class flight and he had it upgraded for the VIP class, the same as his.

The airline was owned by his family so it was an easy arrangement. Arya was not even informed with the upgrade of her seat yet and he just intended to surprise her on that day with his unexpected presence.

Then, he laughed suddenly on his naughty thought. Mr. Yamato who saw that shook his head. Love was really a powerful thing that can change a person easily. He was happy that Ryu had found his match to thaw that coldness in him.

"What happened to your face?" his thought was interrupted when Ryu took off the shades and he saw his bruise.

"I was kicked for being a pervert." Ryu answered smiling.

'He can even drop jokes now?' Mr. Yamato thought inwardly still in awe with Ryu's sudden change.
