Chapter 204 - 204 Longwei Run Away

Saturday morning with the sun shining gently on the sky, Longwei was sitting in the room with his hands holding his tablet. It would look to others as if he was looking at his tablet but his eyes were unfocused and dull. No matter what he say and do, he felt that it did not matter for his parents would just only nod or smile at him but never spend some time with him.

In the huge mansion he was living and bodyguards and maids for his beck and call. His father arranged them for him while his mother would go out with the excuse of buying toys for him. However, no matter how many people surrounding him and toys to play with, he still felt lonely and empty inside.

"Boring." He muttered under his breath and tilted his head slightly and eyes drooped down to look at his tablet. As he searched the internet randomly, from food recipes to gossips online, he had already scrolled over that.

At this time, a picture caught his attention. Longwei's eyes showed a hint of brightness. Suddenly, he had the urge to go meet the person on the picture.

Longwei then carefully scanned his surrounding and only saw three maids and one bodyguard close to him. He became thoughtful.

'If it's only them, I can easily shake them off.' He thought and a look of determination and cunningness flashed across his face.

Under the watchful eyes of the maids and bodyguard, they saw their young master abruptly standing up to walk toward the door. Instantly, they became alert and rushed to follow him out.

"I'm going out."

"Yes, young master. Would you prefer to go to the garden or the gazebo?" One maid asked respectfully.

"Mall." Longwei replied without any fluctuation in his voice. However, the childish tone was still there, reminding everyone that he was still a little child of five years old.

"M-mall? But young master, the master and madam are out  and never mentioned of you going out today." The bodyguard worriedly asked as he was not sure of what he would do.

Longwei did not look back and still continued to make his way outside. "Yes. I just received a message that mother would like me to go meet her at the restaurant located inside the shopping mall in D' district. However, I only want the bodyguard to go with me. I don't want to go around the shopping center with maids tailing behind my back."

'Just my luck.' The bodyguard smiled bitterly to himself. He looked at his young master's small back and felt a pang in his heart. 'Aiyoh. That small back that seemed m.a.t.u.r.e yet lonely. How can his parents just left him here all alone by himself while they were out to have fun?'

"Prepare the car." He talked to his earpiece before catching up to his young master.

The bodyguard trust that his young master was someone who was so m.a.t.u.r.e for his age. With that, he knew that what his young master said was the truth. However, as soon as he realized that something was wrong, it was already too late to turn back now.

'F*ck! I'm screwed. I'm definitely going to get myself killed by this if the master and the madam, especially, will know of this.' The bodyguard felt like he had just swallowed a bird's poop. His face immediately turned white and sweated.

"Please come in. We have already informed the young madam." A kind-looking grandpa who seemed to be the head butler of the mansion said smilingly down at Longwei. He then stepped aside and gestured for Longwei to get inside. "The young madam is already waiting for you in the back garden."

Longwei did not say anything as he followed the butler inside the mansion and his face was blank, devoid of emotions. However, somewheere in his heart, it was beating faster than usual and his little cute face turned slightly pink for a moment before it returned to it's natural milky white skin.

October sat leisurely in the garden with a teacup near her small petal-like lips. She closed her eyes slightly to smell the lemon fragrance of the tea. She then slowly sipped it and the citrusy taste filled her senses.

It was at this moment that she noticed the small animal looking curiosly at her with his bright eyes. She too was looking at him with interest in her eyes.

On one look, they don't resemble at all. However, the shape of their face and their temperament was almost completely identical: calm and cold with a lack of emotions.

"Sit." She said calmly and set her teacup down.

Longwei then sat on the seat that was offered to him. He shifted on his seat for a while before settling himself comfortably.

Longwei and October stared at each other in silence. Both did not show any panic or awkwardness, only the curiosity toward each other. It was as if the two have a tacit understanding in the silent conversation they have using their eyes.

October sighed before pouring tea on another cup and pushed it toward Longwei. After that, she pushed the macarons and a slice of strawberry tart she placed on another plate.

"You..." October paused as she looked at her little brother before continuing to say, "Did you run away from home?"

"!" Longwei's eyes widened in surprise. He did not expect that this was the first question that his sister would ask him. Howeverm this was soon replaced with a bright and sparkling look on his eyes and a toothy smile.

October shook her head in helplessness. But despite that, a small smile was on her face as she looked at his little brother gently. "Eat first."

"Thank you, big sister." Longwei nodded and started to pick up his fork to eat his tart which he gratefully received from his big sister.

October also continued to drink her lemon tea. No matter how much she disliked Fu Yung and her bastard of a father, Longwei was innocent. He was still his brother in blood.

"What's your name?" She asked.

Longwei looked at his sister for a moment before replying cleverly, "I am Longwei Park, big sister Lanna."

October wryly smiled before saying, "Just call me October."

For Lanna was already a name she does not have any more good feelings with.

"Then, can I just call you big sister?"

"You can." She replied, not caring much about it. With regard to Longwei, although she does not hate the kid, she was also not fond of him. "So, to my question, why?"

Why did you run away from home?

"I did not run away." He replied, looking away from October. "But big sister, how can you ask that?"

"Hmmm...so you did run away." She said.

"Urk!" He flinched and looked down on his l.a.p feeling guilty. "I'm sorry."

October's eyes softened. 'How cute.'

"Why?"

"I...I was always alone with no one to talk to." He stammered as he took quick peeks at his sister's face.

"How did you get here?" She asked yet another question, feeling skeptical of how the little child made his way toward her home. Her brow raised at him. "Also, look at me when answering."

Longwei straightened his posture immediately and looked at his big sister's calm and green eyes. At this, he noticed that his sister was really such a stunning beauty with eyes really pretty and fairy-like as if he was staring at a forest.

But then his brows furrowed in frustration. He noticed that they don't have much similarities which made him frown deeply.

"I tricked him." He replied while looking straight at hi big sister's eyes for a moment before pointing his finger toward the bodyguard who was standing not far away together with maids and the old butler in a distance.

"Right." She looked at him doubtfully. But who wouldn't? For she knew that his little brother just turned five years old so she was really could not believe that a little child could do something like that to an a.d.u.l.t.

Yet she did not say anything about it.

"Yes. Uhmm..." Longwei started to fidget again, looking really cute and adorable as his face turned pink and feeling shy. "Can--can I come visit you here again?"
