Chapter 216 - 216 October's Warning

October coldly looked at the Park couple. She did not expect that Fu Yung would say those things.

'Bully? How come I did not know that I had bullied Fu Yung?'

"Tch. Stop crying, old hag." Lexus hissed with disgust on his face.

"O-old hag?!" Fu Yung was stunned, making her crying to stop altogether. She was still young at 26 years old to be exact and was praised with her sweet and charming beauty, and yet she was called an "old hag?!" Did this young master Song gone blind?

Fu Yung was so infuriated that she unconsciously tightened her grip on Peizhi's shirt, making it crumpled in her hands.

"Was I asleep when I bullied you, Fu Yung? How am I not aware that I did such thing?" October frowned, looking at Fu Yung quite confused. Bullying was never in her vocabulary years before. But now, she was taught that word and the meaning of that by the person who was accusing her now.

"Well..." Fu Yung was taken aback. SHe did not expect that October would retort her in such a mocking manner. But she does not want to back down now. She's already gone far now.

Tightening her grip on Peizhi's shirt, she bit her lip. She was feeling uneasy and reluctant to tell. After seconds of doubting, she finally opened her mouth, "Lanna, you're going too far. Do I have to record your bullying in a video or something? No, I don't want to record that just to look back into. That...that would be just too painful."

Tears trailed down her cheeks continuously. Peizhi was now breathing heavily as he was fuming in anger. With hatred filling his eyes, he turned to glare at October.

"You...Lan'er! How can you do this to her? Was she not your best friend? Was she not good to you? How can you bully her like so?"

His gaze at her was harsh. It was a gaze filled with immense hatred as if he was gazing at his sworn enemy. He was shrowded in hostility that he did not notice October's cold eyes turning chillier and darker.

As for Lexus, if not because of the hold of October on him, he would have already blew his top and lunged at Peizhi to break his neck.

"Was it because I have never cared about you? Jealousy? Were you that thirsty of my love that you vented your loathing on an innocent person? I knew that you are such a cold person, but I never thought that you were this vicious! How can I have birthed to such a heartless person. You--"

Laughter that was soft yet so distinct that it sent shivers down their spines and into their very core. It was so unearthly, sinister even and yet sounded gentle bells ringing at the same time. This same laughter cut off Peizhi.

"I could not believe that I am hearing something like this, especially from you." October coldly laughed, the same as her heart that has turned to ice.

Lexus turned to look at his wife who's face and eyes were covered in frost. He was dumbfounded before getting worried for her.

October's emotions are easily triggered nowardays. This may also affect her pregnancy. Still, he has to hold himself down and let her continue what she wanted to do. He does not want harm to come to his wife but he wanted her to grow.

Being with her was something he had enjoyed. They had only been together for two months but he can already say that he knew her all too well, just like she did of him.

"The moment you chose to listen to someone else and discarded your own daughter and tossed her out on the streets, not caring of how she would get by, with no clothes and shelter, you have already lost the right to call yourself father."

"Fu Yung is not an outsider. She was already my lover and the mother of my child that time." Peizhi growled. He was not the least bit feeling any guilt in him. To him, what he said was just and October was just spouting nonsense.

"Yes, tha must have been so. But, have you thought that I am also a child of your house?" October squinted her eyes at Peizhi. She could not believe that her mother had fallen in love with this kind of man. But this same man had also left her with a broken heart.

"I guess not. That's just how you are."

"What do you mean by that?" Peizhi snapped.

"No, Lanna. Peizhi truly cares for you but you were just too closed off, the walls around you were too high that he could not break one of your walls. You were the one who pushed him out of your life." Fu Yung butted in. She had to support Peizhi in order for him to appreciate her more, with that, she could have a firmer hold of him. But that's that. The other reason was that she also hated October.

What's wrong with having a relationship with an older man? October should be more accepting and grateful that someone would love her father and that it was Fu Yung, her best friend.

But no! October did not want to accept Fu Yung's relationship with her father. Instead, she was against having Fu Yung marry Peizhi.

"Shut up. Who are you to intervene with our talk?" October glowered coldly at Fu Yung. It was so harsh that Fu Yung was left flabbergasted, disbelief was clear in her wide and clear eyes. She could not believe that October would snarl at her with stormy dark eyes that seemed to glint dangerously at her.

She looked cute but no one in their right minds was there to appreciate her beauty.

"..." Fu Yung wanted to say something but found that she could not let out a single word. Her throat and mouth felt dry and coarse. She did not expect that there would come a time wherein October would inflict her of such fear. She took a step backward, almost losing her balance if not for Peizhi holding her up.

"Now then, where was I." October returned her attention to Peizhi who had visibly flinched at this. He could not even look straight at her; his eyes kept on wandering around the room and could only look at her no longer than a second.

"Right, I was talking about Mr Peizhi talking about me bullying you so-called wife caked with thick make up." She said with clear disgust in her voice. "You said that I was vicious and that I was like my mother. That's quite a compliment coming from you. And honestly, I don't want to be like you. I'm really grateful that I did not look so much like you, else I'll puke from revulsion."

"You--you--" Peizhi was so angry that he could not say anything more other that "you" and pointing at October with great hatred. He could feel his blood rising up to his throat, he could now even taste a metallic and sweet taste on his tongue.

"Yes, me. What about me?" October clicked her tongue in annoyance. She felt quite tired now. She does not want to face these two distasteful people she loathed so much.

'Ah.' October was shocked and paused. This was the first time that she had hated someone like this. Had she always had this kind of feeling? Was it burried deep in her heart? That must be it.

October grew cold because she was left alone with not much warmth to comfort her since her mother's passing. She did have a grandfather, but he was also quite a busy man and she also did not want to leave City D, the city where her mother was burried.

"Hubby, I'm tired." October twisted herself to face Lexus and tilted her head up to look at him straight in the eye. Again, she was reminded that her husband was quite a tall man as she had to strain her head up just to see his handsome face. "Let's go home."

"Okay." Lexus readily agreed at this. With a wide proud smile full of satisfaction, Lexus helped October hold the things for her which did was not much, only a notebook and a photo of October's mother in a picture frame.

"You shameless, ungrateful brat! How can you treat your father like this? There is a limit to shamelessness ah!" Peizhi hollored at October and Lexus who walked past them as if nothing unusual happened just a few seconds ago. They appeared calm and indifferent.

Peizhi shouted again when he noticed that the couple did not pay him no heed. This time, however, October paused in her steps and turned to look at Peizhi with cold and distant gaze as if she was looking at a stranger.

"Let's treat each other as strangers. And don't call me "Lanna." It makes me hate you more. Also, keep your hands off my husband and the whole Song family." October said. Then suddenly, as if she remembered something good, her face lightened up with a small smile on her face. "And about that old man who escorted me on my wedding, that was my biological grandfather, the father of my mother. This is just my warning to you. Don't touch my family or I won't let you be."
