As long as he will be able to explain it clearly Xi Ana will really not get mad with something as petty as this, it's just him who doesn't feel right about the whole idea of having Mo Chuxia as his personal secretary after the history that they had.
Lim Yi Sheng massaged the space between his eyebrows trying to calm his nerves, what else could he do? It's not like he can bear to just let her be and it was also because his Grandfather has already accepted this.
As far as his knowledge goes, Mo Chuxia was indeed blacklisted in the fashion industry in America after leaving so suddenly and being branded as a traitor it would be a challenge to find a job in the same industry and the Mo Family is also not in a stable condition financially that's probably the reason why the Elder readily agreed with this set up.
The door opened and Mo Chuxia entered the office. "Yi Sheng.." she spoke mildly as nervousness started growing inside her. It has been a few weeks since she last saw him and thinking back on the embarrassing things she'd said and done she can't help but lower her head on embarrassment.
He raised his head and gazed at the woman, "Ms. Mo, please refrain from addressing me so casually just like what you did. This is after all our workplace and I don't think you can call me that way here." he used such a commanding tone that he usually uses to his subordinates.
Mo Chuxia felt as though she was splashed with cold water, she never thought that Lim Yi Sheng could actually use a such domineering tone with her as if she had never been once a part of his life. The pain inside her lit up once again, if only she didn't leave then it should be her who's with him now and not that woman.
"Why are you being like so cold to me? Just because you're now married you can't even treat me as a friend? Is that how much you hate me?" her voice cracked and she's at the verge of crying.
Meanwhile, seeing her like this is making Lim Yi Sheng very uncomfortable. He doesn't want any misunderstanding to arise that's why he's drawing the line as early as now and yet Mo Chuxia looked at it as if he's doing something really awful to her.
"If you're not comfortable with that then you might as well leave. It's not like I am in a state that I can't work without a secretary I believe you know that very well." he's giving him no mercy at all and she can't even retaliate.
What rights does she have anyway? In the eyes of many she is nothing but a desperate ex-fiancee who can't even compare to the wife. How lowly does she need to become?
"I understand but before I officially start with my post I just want to ask you one thing as a friend." she wasn't able to hide the bitterness in her tone, she was reduced to this state now what more can hiding her bitterness do.
"What is it?" he asked as his beautifully outlined eyebrows creased.
"How much do you know Xi Ana? Do you think she is what she is?" the way she stated her question was full of doubt and it didn't escape Lim Yi Sheng's ears, as if those words weren't empty doubts though there were some truth in her words, he can't admit it in front of her.
After all he had a fair share of things to think about Xi Ana and she doesn't need her to remind him of it, "How much I know about my wife is none of your business."

"President, you have a lunch meeting with CEO Lim today." Xi Ana was surprised with what her ȧssistant said. She doesn't have any knowledge how her schedule works as it was all done by Hannah, her only role is to attend to those schedules.
It's not like Hannah forgot to tell her, it's just that it wasn't originally part of her schedule "No, President I haven't mentioned this to you before because it wasn't really a part of your schedule, this meeting should be attended by the Vice President." hearing Hannah's response she immediately understood.
There was an urgent matter that needs to be addressed at one of their branches overseas and since her hands were full and cannot afford to go out of country she asked the company's Vice President to attend it. In exchange, she will take over the important schedules he had for the next couple of days and this meeting is probably one of those.
"Are they informed about the changes?" she was asking whether Lim Yi Sheng's side knew that instead of the Vice President it will be her who will attend the meeting. If she remembered it clearly, this project is still in its early stages.
Hannah looked at Xi Ana, does she want her to notify them? That's not her style though. Whenever there are changes like this she never wanted to notify the other side as she doesn't want them to change anything just to curry favor her. Well, the CEO must have been an exemption? "Should I notify them?"
"Just tell them that the Vice President will not be able to meet them but instead a representative will go at Lim Corporation to personally meet with the CEO." Xi Ana said as she flipped the documents in her hand.
"Yes, President." Hannah then exited the President's office to make the arrangements.
When she's already alone, Xi Ana can't help but wonder on Fang Wenna's word of yesterday before they parted.
'It's a plausible lead, the most accurate one we've got in years.' is what she said.
There's no doubt, if it is indeed him then she's one step closer in ending her years of torture. It's been years of suffering from him, any more than this will kill her so it has to stop, it must be stopped. That was the only way she could truly move on with her life.
