Chapter 101 - Missing Each Other

It's already 11:30 in the evening when Xi Ana reached home since she really did make use of her time today, even her pending works due to her business trip was halved in just a day.

Upon reaching home she did feel for once that it's actually a little bit lonely going home to an empty house, during her married life there might be more days that they were both pretty busy and are out of country due to work but as long as they are both in the city they still go home and see each other at the end of the day.

She was still planning to check on some documents that needs her signature but she can't focus at all, she set aside the documents she is holding and grabbed her phone.

It's as if her feet has their own thought that she didn't even realize that she had already walked towards him. "I'm back."

She didn't reply and waited for him to finally put his shoes on the rack before reaching out and wrapping her arms on his slim waist so tight that she could feel his body temperature even with their clothes on. "You didn't tell me you're coming back earlier."

If she knew she wouldn't have worked until this late and would have personally picked him up from the airport, but she knew nothing at all about him returning a day earlier.

Actually, rather than surprising you it's more like I missed you like crazy so when you told me that you're already done with your business in City M and you're going back home I just felt that I can't wait for another day to see you and just like that I booked an earlier flight."

The man leaned closer and just like that the familiar feeling of his soft lips on hers sent tiny sparks all over body. She grabbed on his clothes to steady herself as she was being pushed slowly until her back is on the wall.

To the both of them, this kiss carried more emotion than the previous ones because this kiss contained the feelings they couldn't express in mere words. Saying 'I miss you' might not be enough to show how much they really missed each other.

On the other hand, the moment Lim Yi Sheng entered the house and saw Xi Ana standing in front of him all he really wanted was to run to her and kiss her.

He tried so hard to control himself because he felt that once he did he might lose control of himself and do something that he might regret later on. He would stick to his promise that he will only move this relationship further once they've both felt the same way.

When he thought he finally calmed himself, Xi Ana hugged him so tight that his earlier resolve vanished in thin air in an instant.

He was just about to react when his wife suddenly chuckled in a teasing tone, "Your blushing face is really cute, my dear."

Xi Ana moved her warm hands from his waist to his cheeks, "I already told you its fine right? You're my husband so why do you have to apologize? Would you rather have someone else do this to me?"

"Of course not."

"Then don't over think about this anymore, alright? For now let's go up and freshen up, it's actually not yet that long when I came back from the company."

Xi Ana helped him remove his coat, "It's already this late and you just came back?"
