Chapter 104 - Reciprocated Feelings (3)

The next morning, the couple woke up a little later than usual. Lim Yi Sheng opened his eyes and he saw the sleeping visage of Xi Ana who is lying peacefully in his arms. Up until now he still can't believe that Xi Ana finally accepted him.

He traced the contours of her face up until her bȧrė white shoulders. Its milky white complexion and its texture as smooth as the finest quality jade made it tempting enough that he wanted to bite on it.

When he felt unsatisfied with just ċȧrėssing, he leaned and nibbled on it for a while causing Xi Ana to wake up with a groan.

"You should sleep some more." he saw that his wife has already woken up, he wanted her to sleep some more. They did use a lot of energy last night.

Xi Ana opened her eyes slowly and glared at him, he was on top of her and so his face is the first thing she saw the moment she opened her eyes. "How could I continue to sleep peacefully if there is a beast nibbling on my bȧrė shoulder early in the morning."

Lim Yi Sheng chuckled at Xi Ana's reaction, although she is supposed to be angry she looked rather cute in his eyes and so he acted like a spoiled child and snuggled on her even more. "I just wanted to confirm whether what happened last night was real or just another dream of mine."

"Lim Yi Sheng, how could you be so shameless as to say that in front of me?" he received yet another glare from his beautiful wife but still he felt happy or maybe 'happy' is not enough to describe what he's feeling right now.

"It's okay, I only dream of you anyway."

"That's not the point. Anyway just get up, we still have to work." hearing her say 'work' made him a little bit frustrated, in her heart is his weight the same as her work?

"You're always working already. Can we just not go to work today? I want to cuddle with you a bit more."

"Lim Yi Sheng, are you serious? You're even jealous of my work now?"

He sighed, "Yes, I am! I can now sympathize with your ȧssistant, I've always known that you're workaholic but this is really too much. Matters aside, don't you feel uncomfortable?"

Unexpectedly, he received another glare from Xi Ana. "Don't you feel embarrassed asking me that?"

"I'm not?" isn't it normal to ask that? Or not?

"If you're not, well then I am embarrassed being asked that. Although I'm not a teenager anymore and I did with my husband it is still embarrassing, so don't ask anymore. Now my dear husband we're already late so get up."

Lim Yi Sheng still refused to do so. "Then can we just go to work after lunch? Let's have a brunch at home, it's been a while since we last ate together."

Xi Ana stared at him for a while before finally giving in, "Fine, we'll leave after eating. Is that enough?"

"I still have another request."

Xi Ana frowned a little, "Do you have a split personality?"

"What is that question suppose to mean?"he thought for a while but still didn't get the logic behind that question.

"You know, you're not only shameless, you're even spoiled and acts like a child at times but if I told other people about it I would only be branded as a liar."

"I only act like this in front of you anyway."

"Well, that's how it should be. If you have the guts to act like this in front of other women you can do so but expect to receive the divorce papers with my stamp on it the very next day." those words were accompanied by yet another glare from her.

Being monopolized by her might not be a bad thing, "That would never happen, you don't have to worry."

"I'm not worried though. From the looks of it you're head over heels for me."

"You're not wrong but is that really obvious?"

He just spoke what was on his mind then suddenly Xi Ana laughed which made him rather confused, "What is it?"

"You're not even shy to proclaim that you're head over heels for me?"

"Why would I be? You're my wife so it is normal that I am in love with you although that is not always the case in the families like ours. Furthermore, you are the dream wife of all the bachelors in City A how could I be shy in telling that I'm very much in love with you."

"Who's words is that?"

"Lu Nai He."

Lu Nai He would always mention that thing which made him remember it.

"It seems like you've somehow learned how to be shameless because of him."

"I only learned what shameless means when I married you."

Xi Ana laughed, "You're the only person I know who is shameless enough to call himself shameless. Anyway, what was your request?"

"I want you to cook for me, since were both busy its rare for you to cook ."

"If it's only that then it's alright."

Xi Ana sat while holding the blanket over her ċhėst, he was still lying on the bed but then he felt Xi Ana shuddered a little which made him alarmed, "Why?"

"Oh, it's nothing. The headboard was colder than I expected."

Lim Yi Sheng sat, grabbed a pillow and place it on her back before reaching out for his robe.

"I'll get you some clothes." after saying that he wore his robe and went to their walk-in closet.

He changed into fresh set of clothes also took Xi Ana's.

What happened the other night was a proof that the two of them are now different from when they got married. Now it is not only the papers that bind them together but as well as the feelings they have for each other.

This time, the progress on their relationship was not a mere step but rather a leap.
