Greg watched with bated breath as Brian and Lana shrank like springs and leaped from the edge of a cliff, followed by Nicky and Vicky. His head was completely empty, not a drop of doubt. They can do! They must!
Buggy jumped on the rise, and it felt like they froze in the air. At this moment there seemed to be no sounds around. Everything halted in hope. Greg's head was completely empty, and a feeling of weightlessness made him dizzy as if he forgotten how to breathe. Just one thought was pounding in the temples: "Please! Please! "
Greg didn't remember the moment of the collision. As if through the fog, he saw Lana and Brian land on the other side, wrecking the earth with their claws and pushing forward with sharp jerks, trying to pulling their line onto a saving coast. They were followed by Nicky and Vicky. And then the buggy itself flinched, feeling the stones under the wheels.
The wolves ran a few more meters by inertia, but then the ground became flat, and they began to slow down. Greg clamped the brake lever with his aligned fingers using the last drops of the straight.
When their improvised wagon finally stopped, he instantly collapsed on the floor, or rather, on the roof. His hands were shaking, and the air from the lungs was breaking out with some sort of ragged sobs.
The first sound that Greg heard was Brian's raving, the wolf raged somewhere very close. His roar and snarles were translated by their connection as rather malicious curses. At the same time, the werewolf broadcast to Greg all the torments of hell, which he is ready to arrange for him right now.
For some reason, the image of how Brian tears off Greg's hands and stuffs him in the ass made Greg roll with laughter.
" God! Bro, does Risa know what kind of pervert you really are? It's quite surprising, how nice my ass looks in your imagination." - Greg exclaimed through the laugh, rising and jumping down.
The wolf heard this and halted, still fuming like a hellhound. As soon as Greg took a step forward, Brian snarled again, baring huge fangs, and even snapped them a couple of times, to show how indignant he was.
"Okay, okay. I got that you are outraged. You can relax now." - Greg said indifferently, peering into the cab of their car, and immediately recoiled, literally pushed out by a stream of curses from Maddy. Only after a couple of seconds, the continuous flow of rather indecent words subsided a little, and Greg was able to catch some meaning in it.
"Are you completely insane? I broke my leg, and you decided to finish me off like this? You are nuts! You're damn crazy! God, apparently all the good genes settled on me, you didn't even get a brain! Argh, I'm so angry that I'm ready to beat you with my broken leg." -She continued to scream. Greg sighed sadly and decided to ignore his sister, as he usually did.
Tony looked quite calm at the same time. For some reason, he peered into the distant-looking mirror with interest, not paying much attention to his mad neighbor. Noticing Greg, he turned a slightly blurred look at his friend.
"While I have not wholly digested what has just happened." - He croaked in a torn voice. -" There is only one question interesting me at this moment. Have I turned gray in an elegant, dignified way or ugly, like an old man?"
Greg only grinned back. It seems these two were fine. Moreover, it was hard to become more insane than they already were.
Ignoring Brian's growl, Greg headed for Lana and the children. Those three crowded around as if trying to arrange a group hug. But they couldn't do it as they have paws... Therefore, Greg decided to correct the situation and hug everyone at once. It turned out so-so, like trying to hug three calves simultaneously. But his werewolves apparently understood the idea. Lana buried her muzzle in his shoulder, trying to straighten her still-beating heart, Vicky with a mournful whine hid her nose in his armpit, and Nicky leaned on the other side as if propping up. Somehow it immediately became very warm and cozy. Four hearts simultaneously pounded in his ears, slowing down a little, leveling their paces.
"You did so well, my sweethearts!" - He whispered to them, not holding back and letting all his tenderness and gratitude run in a circle of their connection. And it really turned out to be a circle, since almost immediately the same feelings and even more came back to him. It was so strange and so right. He understood it so clearly at this moment, now his world will never be complete without these three.
