Kian slapped her hand away and Tinsley did no effort to hold it back out for him.
"I was...I was at least in peace back then... than now!"
Kian let out, and it stroke hard Tinsley, coming to know that he was in peace with Serena but not her.
"You were in peace with her?"
She asked him back to confirm. He rolled his eyes at her, still sitting on the floor.
"The happy days...fuck the happy days!! Did not those happy days fucked up my whole life??"
Kian spat out, referring to their childhood memories. Those, Tinsley would often narrate to him...running around the huge field, watching the sunset together...the mango tree.
Tinsley stooped low, bent down and leaned forward, cupping his face in between her palms, making him look up at her.
"Tell me...tell me what would give you peace?"
She wanted to know...know the fact that would put her so tense husband in peace. She was ready to give it to him at any cost.
"If you had fucked off from my life long ago!"
He whispered those words out to her, on her face. She did not drop her hold from his face.
He needed to be out from anywhere she was close. He needed to stay close yet not too close to her.
He had come to a point of not knowing what exactly he wanted or desired for. Tinsley leaned in and dropped a sweet kiss on his forehead.

Marshally laid down on the bed after Max tied up his belt, bolting his zipper upwards.
"Tell me...tell me what would give you peace, Max?"
She asked that question, looking up at the ceiling. Tinsley was in the other room, listening to the noises coming out from the other side, placing her ears on the wall.
"If you had fucked off from my life!"
Her father had answered, picking his coat up and walking out of the hotel room.
Tinsley watched the entire scene unfold before her eyes through the keyhole of the door as her mother chose to stay still...not giving up.

"Anything for your sanity and peace!"
She said and stood up, turning around, getting ready to leave.
She was not going to be her mother...she was not going to lay on that bed till her deathbed.
Kian was taken aback by her behaviour and did not understand how she could just stand up and leave only because she had asked her of that??
Jealousy rushed in him...speeding through his alcohol reeked blood vessels as he was reminded of where exactly his wife had spent the night.
And perhaps she was going back...going back to be with that bastard now that everything was out in the air.
She had nothing to say...nothing anymore. Not make him try to force listen to her side of the story or cry her eyes out that she had not done it...she had not and he was ready to believe her.
He would have...he really would have. Because no matter, how many times he had thought of a solution to the problem...a possible escape from this disaster...there was none.
He could not punish her...not when she was just a teenager like him for doing what she had done...the past could not bring him back his mother and the past he could not go back and un marry her...the woman who became the sole reason for his mother's death...separating him from her.
"So go back to him...that is what best you could do...just fucking go...you bitch!!"
Tinsley did not turn back as she kept walking forward. She knew that they both needed time...time to heal from all these new revelations.
"Be in peace, Kian!"
She whispered, closing the door behind her. The sound of only her beating heart could be heard.

Three days had gone by and she had hoped that he was in some peace as she was trying to find her peace.
Sitting in the garden, the green grass brushing over her legs. The warm breeze was so soothing.
Madison walked towards her with mugs of coffee for the both of them. She sat right beside Tinsley, handing her the mug.
"So what next?"
Tinsley asked, not having any clue for herself as to what she should do next after reciting everything to Madi, two days ago.
"I cheated!"
It was an abrupt, all of a sudden confession. When something had been kept hidden underneath your heart for too long, it was bound to come out in the most strange of time or situation.
Tinsley tilted her neck to look at Madison, shocked and astonished. She was not expecting to hear that at all.
Madison waited for Tinsley to say anything or react, knowing that she would be the only one to listen to her without any judgement.
"I could not control myself...be it lust, an irresistible attraction for each other...I gave in, not just once. I have been seeing him for a week now. I lied to Lana to be with him..."
Madison guiltily let out everything. Every time she talked with Lana over the phone, she felt like drowning herself in the river of fire.
"Who is it??"
Tinsley asked, wanting to know who the man was. Never in her wildest dreams, she could think of Madison cheating on Lana.
Yet it had happened. Madison had cheated on Lana, her true love. And Kian had confessed that he found peace with Serena and not her.
"John...John Krasinski!"
Madison whispered the name out, looking down at the grass, biting on her lips.
Tinsley's eyes widened to their length, a gasp passed out of her mouth. She could not reckon the fact seriously.
Was love even there?? Or do people lie about being in love??
Do they even love or love was just in the head of the people??
Madison's confession only had made Tinsley to see everything in a different light.
"Please, say something!"
Madison requested, wanting to hear anything...even the sound of a bitter slap clapped against her cheeks. She needed it to realize the blunder...the kind of a mistake she had committed...or was the worst part that she did not feel guilty.
"What do you even want me to say, Madi?? "
Tinsley questioned as both of their eyes interlocked. Madi's were full of guilt, remorse and Tinsley's were broken...the hope that love was real had long gone...bid farewell.
"What you did...do you know the intensity of your action?? Your action will grow a girl to have a hard time trusting in love again... every time someone else in the future would say 'I love you!' to her...she won't believe, not right away...not the way she had trusted you..."
Tears spurted out from Madi's eyes as she did not dare to part her eyes from Tinsley's firey ones, spitting fire at her way.
"Yet you will continue to do it because of what love means for others...it does not for you...if love for someone is their whole life, it does not matter to you because love you have starting to feel with someone else....no matter how much she tries to give you your peace...you just can't find solace in her peace...you find it in someone else's arms..."
Tinsley went out with her feeling both at the disappointment of her failed marriage...her love life.
"You are no different than Kian or Josh or my father.."
And a hand clap was heard against Tinsley's cheeks. Madison had slapped her, for daring to compare her as in the same line as those men...
Tinsley slapped Madison back. There was a silence as Madi hit Tin back and Tin repeated the action.
"We have failed...failed miserably, Madi!!"
Tinsley broke down and so did Madison and she pulled Tin in her arms, hugging her body to herself.
They both cried together for ruining such a beautiful thing, they had dreamt of living through their life.
As the days passed, Tinsley and Madison did not speak about what had happened in the garden anymore.
Lana delayed her return to home from her modelling trip and Madison felt guilty about finding relaxation on that thought.
She knew that she had to come clean but when she had no idea. Tinsley knew that she needed an ultimatum from her husband if anything was left at all...
