Chapter 104 - "DO NOT GIVE UP 'COZ WHEN YOU DO ITS OVER! "

Name:The Ceo And Me! Author:
Anna Maria and Tinsley started their cooking lesson.

Anna Maria was well aware of her knowledge of the kitchen so she started from the very basics.

Tinsley gave her full attention, learning every technique from cutting to chopping onions.

One time she got a small cut on the middle finger while chopping the onions.

Nevertheless, it was not anything major so they both continued with the lesson after Anna Maria attended to her wound and put a bandaid on it.

She was happy that she was finally learning something. She eyed Anna Maria's every move with wide-open eyes and even tried to remember a few of her secrets about how to make the food tastier, a few shortcuts too.

Tinsley learned to cook her favourite paella and she could not be any more delighted.

She almost forgot about the incident in the morning until Anna Maria mentioned about him.

"Now when you go home, tonight, cook him this."

She almost forgot that this day was about to end and he would be here anytime then to pick her up.

This place had been like her safe zone, making her forget about all the bad memories and finally doing something productive instead of thinking all day long.

Regardless, Tinsley smiled in Anna Maria's way and then both the ladies headed out to start talking about anything else other than cooking since they had been doing only that since the morning.

Anna Maria had agreed to be her mentor in cooking and to teach her every single day and that made Tinsley jump up and down in happiness.

She was going to meet this amazing lady every day with the excuse of learning cooking just like in the olden times.

Anna Maria accompanied her everywhere, stayed by her side, everywhere she went and to be with her again after these long months of separation had bought her immense joy.

Both of them enjoyed each other's company over a cup of hot coffee, sitting outside on the porch as Tinsley waited for her ride back home, unwillingly.

"You are late, Miss Maria."

John said, standing up when Madison walked up to him, eyeing him a mild apology.

"I had an issue with my full stomach...sorry!!"

She apologised and took her seat. John did the same. The cafe was almost empty. She could tell he had reserved all of the place for themselves.

Typical rich people! She thought. As if everyone was interested in them.

"Any refreshments, Miss Maria??"

He asked. Madison shook her head in negative. She had eaten a lot for the day.

"No thanks, John and please call me, Madison. Maria is my nana's middle name."

She said, awkwardly smiling. John nodded in positive.

"My sources say you are unemployed, Madison."

"I m, John. At the moment, I m."

Madison confided and it was nothing new for everyone trying to hire her back because she had a good record of ten years almost working with the successful Wilson heir.

"May I ask why??"

John implored. He always had an eye for her. Even in the official gatherings to the fundraising parties, he could not take his eyes off of her.

"Well...I just like working with only one boss and that is Kian. "

Madison chuckled. She had no major other reason for not working with someone else.

And she knew that she was not going to remain unemployed for long. Kian would find a way and she did not mind it at all however long it took.

"Do you guys are close??"

"What do you think, John??"

John smiled and soon after both started talking about business. Madison was trying to gather for investors in Kian's new company.

The time he took to think about what their new firm would be about, Madison spent it looking out for investors.

It was hard with the recent news and almost everyone came under the influence of Valeria Wilson. She was playing dirty.

But Madison did not give up and went on booking appointments with the state millionaires and billionaires.

Most of the time, they ignored but a few with whom she met, they showed their disinterest and there was nothing more she could do about it.

They asked for her to contact them whenever they came up with the idea. Madison would keep notes.

With John Kravinsky, she was really looking up to seal at least one confirmed investor.

Kian had no idea that Madison was doing all of these. She knew that he would reject it right away and she could tell he would do it the other way but there was no more time to waste.

When John agreed, it took her by shock. But it came with a price and that was a date with him.

"So what do you say??"

Madison watched him dumbfounded, not knowing how to answer that. Perhaps he did not know that she was not into guys, not many did anyway.

"Just one date and if it does not goes well, I will never ask for another one."

He offered. She saw it as a golden chance to secure at least one good investor.

Anyway, one date would not hurt. It had been long since she went on one so she agreed and it made John very happy.

He gave a kiss on her right cheek, looking forward to their date. His secretary would contact her with the details, he told her, standing up to leave.

Finding an off time in the life of a billionaire was a hard job. Madison very well understood that and she knew that she was only going to waste his time but she was desperate so stuck to lying about her real identity.

When Madison reached home in a cheering mood, she saw Tinsley still there, conversing with her nana.

It was then she remembered that she forgot to drop her back home on time. Kian had asked her to do since he was busy coding.

"Tinsley, I m so sorry, Kian asked me to drop you home and I got late. Let's go now."

She said, again picking up her keys and Tinsley nodded, getting up to leave not before hugging Anna Maria. She had the most amazing day today.

Driving silently on the road, Madison looked sideways to see Tinsley deep in thoughts, watching the cars outside through the window.

"What did you guys fight about?"

She asked, chewing her gum. Tinsley tilted her head to look back at Madison. She had no idea how to tell Madison about it...about what happened.

"This and that."

She lied, looking away. Madison could tell that she was avoiding the talk and so did not press harder.

"Fights are inevitable in a marriage you know..."

Madison muttered, driving, eyes straight on the road. Tinsley listened in silence.

"At least it's very common in relationships. There was not one moment, I had not to fight with her...."

She continued as if talking to herself. It had been long ago but the memories were very clear and vivid in her mind.

"Especially when the person is stubborn, rich and bratty...fights are more likely to happen, you know..."

She said, looking at Tinsley who gave her a weird look of not having any idea what she was blurring out about.

All she could hear was the part where she mentioned 'her'. Did that mean Madison was gay??

"Of course, I m. Did you not listen to the albums I had in the Range Rover??"

Madison confirmed her suspicion. Tinsley was thinking out loud and blushed about being caught.

"I did ask Kian but he shrugged it off."

She let out. Madison chuckled.

"Don't you think, I would have hit on him if I were straight?? "

It made sense then why they were both so professional to Tinsley. Madison went on about how so many people thought she and Kian being in a relationship and it made them laugh behind the closed door.

She had asked Kian not to tell anyone and he had kept it like that for years and she was glad about that.

"So who is her??"

Tinsley questioned. It pricked her interest to know what kind of girl Madison liked.

"Her name is Lana Del...a model."

Tinsley smiled and Madison's cheeks got painted red. Even though it had been a long time, still her name made her blush and giddy.

"What happened?? Clearly, you like this girl from your looks."

"We dated secretly. She was not ready to come out and well we both decided to give up...those times were frustrating with work and her, trying to keep us as only a secret...I did not see any reason to keep going on and now, I know, how wrong I was...or I m..."

Madison let out in a deep sigh. It was hard to see her on the cover page of every modelling magazine.

When they reached Tinsley's home, she parked it before it.

"Do not give up, Tinsley because when you do, it's just over."

Madison mumbled, holding onto her hand.
