Chapter 4 Impossible to Escape the Doom

Horrible, it was really horrible. This shocking change happened in a sudden. Even the most capable expert could not notice it. It was impossible to prevent it.

It seemed that this mysterious vase was a treasure of Black Killer to absorb souls. The souls of Wind-riding Monsters and Tortoise Fairies who were guarding by the hole, and the souls of "walking dead" who were busy outside the hole were all absorbed into it.

Pitiful, it was really pitiful. Even though Zhang Yunyan was so careful, her soul was absorbed in an instant. It was unexpected and shocking.

This change was too fast and she even had no time to be panic, but unconsciously turned into a walking dead with no soul. She would be abused by Black Killer and driven to do labor. In the end, she would become material in the alchemy furnace and die.

She had no idea whether she still existed or not. It seemed that she was in the midst of life...

Sad, it was really sad. Zhang Yunyan originally wanted to find a way to live before Black Killer came back. She had not expected that she "dedicated" her precious soul before the Black Bear Demon killed her.

It seemed that the mysterious big mouse was really the minion of Black Killer or transferred by Black Bear Demon's evil method, specifically to seduce the outsiders and absorbed their souls.

Once these outsiders were led into the Tongtian Hole, they would be attracted by the magical and beautiful things and would inevitably become walking deads with no souls. After then, they would be driven or killed directly by their new master, Black Killer.

In the mysterious Tongtian Hole, it was silent. There was filled of ferocity and bloodiness, which could consume people's minds. Scary bottle, poor lives, and the mysterious cave were all extremely horrible, exposing its viciousness and venting the demon monsters'ferocity and embarrassment.

Zhang Yunyan's soul had been absorbed and turned into a walking dead with no memory, no pains, no sense of mission, and on the concept of life and death...

She had no consciousness of being and no feelings and emotions. She did not know she would be ruthlessly abused by Black Killer and would be obedient. She did not know she would die in the alchemy furnace.

Yunyan was like a puppet without a soul, acting in the mysterious Tongtian Hole.

She seemed to have an interest in the mysterious pattern. Then, she climbed on the finely-cut large disc and observed it. She touched it with her hands with a sluggish and lost expression on her face.

At this moment, did Zhang Yunyan still have a little feeling?

No, she was just a self-acting "puppet", doing things in a casual way. She did not know what she was doing and what the thing was in front of her.

She kept climbing and touching while looking at it. Though she still had the senses, but was unaware of what she was doing.

When she was climbing and touching, Zhang Yunyan reached to a big flower, touching a piece of crystal clear petals.

The sweet floral fragrance entered her body, but did not call back her lost soul and did not make her numb body awake.

She was touching it while looking at it. She did not know what it was or what she was doing.

Since she lost her soul, she had no feelings, no desires, and no emotions. She just moved her body in a stunned manner without any consciousness.

Zhang Yunyan looked at it and touched it blankly. She even touched each beautiful and fragrant petal and tried again.

The flowers did not change and she did not have any response.

Yunyan's hands followed the straight stamen and touched it from the top to the bottom. Her eyes were dumb and she looked at the stamen when she touched it. Then, she continued to repeat her ignorant behaviors and actions.

Her hands were rising along the straight stamen, while her body was slowly stood up. Then, she went to accomplish the undone "work".

Her hands moved to the flat tray, following with her dumb eyesights. She found the shining vase, where her soul was stored.

Yunyan looked at the delicate vase and the fascinating patterns on it. She did not feel magical or horrible, but her eyes did not leave the vase and a longing expression showed up in her eyes.

It seemed that her look had some changes and there was a yearning move in the sluggishness.

Zhang Yunyan wanted to take the vase down. Before her hands could touch the vase, a crisp and loud sound of "crack" alarmed the whole cave.

At the same time, the vase flashed a dazzling light, pushing Zhang Yunyan who dare to touch it to a far distance at the time of eye blinking. She fell down on the ground with patterns.

She straightened up and looked at that vase. Then, she stood up and rushed towards it, continuing her undone "work".

It seemed that there was a piece of eager and longing in her dumb eyes. She seemed to have an interest in that vase. She did not know how powerful and horrible this treasure was and she did not have the ability to move it.

Zhang Yunyan was a dead body without soul and could not feel anything. What kind of power it would be to make her have this incredible change and take this purposeful behavior?

It was the soul. It could only be her soul. The soul which was absorbed in the vase was attracting her.

Perhaps, this was an unknown sensory. No one could hear this kind of calling, but an attraction from the soul to her body. They were trying to become a unity.

The flesh and the soul were intimate and inseparable. When they came close, there must be a feeling of mutual needs and the call of the family bond.

The soul had been confined by the vase. Under the invisible attraction, her flesh unconsciously walked towards it and tried to become a unity with the soul, even though she was in a dumb condition.

Of course, this was just a guess. No one could tell clearly what the reason was.

This matter was really weird, suspicious, and unexplained.

Since this weird thing was not clear, there was no need to explore the reasons. It might be considered that this hypothesis was true.

Under the control of this invisible force, Zhang Yunyan came to the middle of the disc and looked at the flashing vase with a dull look. The unconscious hands purposefully stretched out under the invisible power.

Before she could touch the vase, a crisp crack roared again. She was throwing away by the dazzling light instantly and fell onto the large disc with patterns.

Zhang Yunyan knew nothing about what happened. A flesh without soul had no idea what the danger was and had no pain.

Under the attraction between the soul and the flesh, she approached the vase again and again, but was thrown away every time when she got close to it. Then, she still did this useless "work" again.

Yunyan was a walking dead with no soul, but tried to contact with her soul.

She did not know that she had no ability to recall her soul to the flesh and recovered to her original state. She could only "stubbornly" try to approach the vase and be thrown back by the mighty light.

Though she was repelled again and again, Zhang Yunyan still repeated this useless "work".

This cave was mysterious and horrible. The continuous sound of crack made the Tongtian Hole more terrifying.

This soulless body was not shocked by the crack and could not wake her numb nerves. In order to allow the body and soul to combine together, she had to constantly "working", and naturally it was useless.

If there was no extra force to interrupt her action, Yunyan would not stop before she got badly hurt and could not stand up; or else, she was taken away by Black Killer and added into the ranks of the "walking dead".

Outside the Tongtian Hole, there was a soul still guarding there, which was right the mysterious mouse.

The mouse did not leave after completing his task, and it was a little restless and worried.

With the sound of crack roaring in the Tongtian Hole, it was shocked again and again, somehow.

The mouse stayed close and looked through the hole from time to time, but did not step into. It could only see the rock wall and the flash.

It was very concerned about the situation in Tongtian Hole, but it could hear nothing except the horrible crack.

It looked anxious and annoyed, but did not know what happened. It walked around and made a sigh.

It hoped to know what had happened in the hole, but did not want to get inside to see its "masterpiece", or maybe, it dared not.

This mouse was indeed mysterious. It tried its best to seduce Zhang Yunyan into Tongtian Hole, but it did not want to get inside. It did not want to leave, either. It was really suspicious.

The hunting object had been trapped in the trap, but it was not relaxed. It still paid attention to the situation inside the hole and was anxious and uneasy somehow.

It seemed that this mouse was waiting for something uncertain; or seemed to do its uncertain and undone job. There seemed what kind of danger would happen.
