Chapter 130 - Secret Plots!

Kalki is seated on one of the chairs placed beside the huge table in his chamber. He has been staring Maya's unconscious image while the Royal Doctors are treating her 'properly'. 

Even though Maya had treated her injuries with right medicines, that would not do any better than the doctors of The Royal Infirmary. 

Kalki is constantly tracing every motions of the people in his chamber. He can't be ignorant of anything. The years of war aleady made him so alert and never missed to note any single thing happening in front of his eyes. But everything took him by surprise while he felt the same weird sensation from his past.

Even though he remains so calm, his mind had an another state. He can't believe and digest any of these things which he saw and discovered today.

After the incident with that strange and Majestic lion, he had been in search of anwers to his questions about his Magical powers.

But he couldn't help feel spellbounded by the astonishing coincidences that happened so far!

'How can I feel the pain of her injuries?! If it is due to my powers then how could I only sense Hers?! Is this because I married- But ?.We were never married! How could this happen?'.

His eyes didn't forget to steal some glances of someone's sleeping image once in a while.

"What is happening here?!".

A shocked gasp interrupted everyone in the silent chamber.

Kalki states "Helping to treat her injuries". He tilts his head looking at anxious Xavier who was watching Maya getting treated in horror.

Xavier asks in disbelief "Helping her?! How did she get hurt in the first place?! She was fine till she entered your chamber!-".

Kalki's eyes turned stern at his statement and stares at the doctors who were already stopped treating Maya. They are looking at their both Princes in shock as Xavier's accusing tone startled them!

Kalki gestures his hand at them to leave and asks still with the stern face "Why are you anxious?".

Xavier growls "How did this happen to her?! I know no one can harm her in your presence!".

'Who could even touch her when she was with Xander?!'.

Xavier was anxious while he heard that Maya was taken to Kalki's chamber. Even though he didn't felt anything right, he remained quiet. He decided to talk about the complicated situation with Kalki once Maya leaves his chamber. He wanted to put an end to the drama that Kalki and Maya has started but he was shocked when he got the message that The Royal doctors were summoned!

He couldn't wait anymore and he decided to not leave Maya alone with Kalki.

'She might have said something to irk Xander! And he might have..No.. What am I even thinking?! How can Xander hurt Maya?! But I can't trust her too! She might have said something!'.

Kalki states keeping his calm "Watch your words, Xavier".

Xavier declares with equal calmness "I am and I need an answer!".

Both are right in their view. Xavier couldn't take the fact that a Royal member got hurt in the Royal Palace and in presence of Xander! How could that even happen?! What would happen if people get to know about this?!

Kalki doesn't want Xavier to act like this in front of anyone, as rumours don't carry the truth always! People might think anything hearing Kalki and Xavier's strange bickering!

Kalki sighs inwardly and looks at the sack on the table boringly "Get them yourself".

Xavier finds his clue and frowns opening the sack "The Royal Bow?". He takes out the quiver and asks examining them keenly "Is this..".

Kalki ends his question with an answer "Hers".

Xavier frown deepened when he found a sword and an another small knife stained with dried blood. He asks looking at Kalki in suspiscion "What does this mean, Xander?".

Kalki states with some deep thought "I found them in the forest near the Countryside Pavilion".

Xavier doesn't need any other explanation from Kalki anymore and asks in disbelief "And it's been a week?!".

He looks back at Maya in astonishment and gasps "How did she even walk with that?! She even stood in the Court till the proceedings ended! How did she even do this?!".

Kalki frowns and thinks about the answers. Every thoughts ended up igniting his curiosity more and more.

Xavier grits his teeth in rage and asks "Did you find them?! Who were they?!".

"Dead already".

Of course Kalki would never tell what he has seen there that day! The Cursed water which turned the the statue back into human with his one touch! However, he made everything to be taken care of already.

I wonder how....

Xavier lets out a deep breath hearing Kalki and still stares at the blood stained sword and knife with worry. He couldn't do anything other than sighing defeated.

'When will she stop being impulsive? Why did she even end up in front of the enemies? Did she lose her way?! Why did she even go to the forest?!'.

Kalki takes the Royal Bow from Xavier's hand and asks "Any news from The Southern Country?".

Xavier's mind gets back from Maya instantly and nods "We have to wait till the Southern Country funds to build the Dam across the river. Till then our battalion of soldiers would be sent in the disguise of workers slowly".

Kalki's eyes shone mysteriously and a smirk appears on the edges of his lips as he thought of his secret plots.

After few hours of sleep, Maya wakes from her deep slumber. She stares the ceiling of the chamber blankly for few moments until she realizes something odd with them.

'How did the floral carvings turned into these strange ones? Why does it look very big now?-'.

She darts her eyes seriously as the memory of her deeds came rushing into her mind!

'Heavens!! What have I done?! Did I stab This Country's Crown Prince?! I might be imprisoned or killed for this crime!!'.
