Chapter 163 - Where is it?!

Maya gasps seeing his lips turning blue "Bhommi!"

"Sister Maya, we have to carry him to the humans there. They might help him to cure".

Eros speaks walking to and fro around Xavier "I can carry His Highness fast".

Maya asks hurriedly grabbing Xavier's hand "Can they save him? Won't that be too late? He looks so pale already!".

Bhommi speaks "I can put a spell to slow his death" and starts chanting something inaudibly before touching his forehead.

Maya's face lost it's life "Death?!".

She shivers at that thought and tears a layer of her gown to clean Xavier's injured hand. She ties the rest on his upper arm hurriedly.

Bhommi speaks awkwardly noticing Maya's actions "Sister Maya! That would only help for snakes bite!"

Maya snaps frustrated "I don't care! He will not die!" and places Xavier's hand over her shoulder trying to carry him.

Seeing Bhommi simply staring her, Maya asks viciously "Will you help me or should I hurt myself to get the strength to lift him?!".

Bhommi "...." She looks evil!

Bhommi makes use of her powers and lifts Xavier towards Eros.

"Xavier!".

HEAVY FOOTSTEPS OF HORSE!

Maya freezes "..."

Bhommi "...."

Eros neighs happily "Your Majesty!".

Kalki arrives on his horse and glares at Bhommi who was frozen as statue under Kalki's presence.

While Maya.... don't even ask.

Kalki grabs Xavier's floating body and shoves him on Eros with no efforts.

Maya flinches at the harsh throw as she could have held Xavier softer than his brother.

Still no words spoken.

He pats Eros and mutters so that Eros hears clearly "I don't care what you do. You must be at Infirmary before I reach there!".

Eros immediately ran in its insane speed startling both Bhommi and Maya. Eros knows how fast Kalki can ride!

Kalki too grabs the reins of his horse and leaves the place.

FOOTSTEPS OF HORSES FADING.

Maya blinks twice in disbelief and gulps before uttering three words "What just happened?".

Bhommi too was in shock as she never thought that man could be so fast in saving his brother!

The Royal Infirmary.

As soon as Kalki reaches the Infirmary, he sighs satisfied as Xavier has already been taken into the sick chamber.

He pats Eros face in appreciation before sprinting inside the sick chamber.

Eros just sniffs and neighs after receiving his Master's soft pats. Eros completely forgot about Maya at this point as he was floating in delight!

Eros only needs his Master's appreciation, doesn't it?! His Prince Xavier is in pathetic state for heaven's sake!

Well, let's move on to the sick chamber, shall we?

Kalki watches the three doctors trying to treat Xavier. He notices every single one's face to read their mind and understand the situation.

No matter how ruthlessly he kills his enemies in every wars, it still makes him weak to see Xavier in danger.

At this moment he felt, he is frozen as ice. He can sense the upcoming catastrophe if anything happens apart from his desired thoughts.

"Your Highness...".

Kalki locks his cold eyes with one of the doctor who was hesitating to speak.

"Speak! If you don't want to die".

The man shivers at this menacing voice and stutters "W-We couldn't find the poison which caused this-".

Kalki's whole demeanour turns even colder and declares "You dare to say that".

The man gulps bowing "I need His Highness's permission to cut Prince Xavier's arm. To remove the poison's blood out of his arm. B-Before it spreads further".

Kalki nods subtly without even any second thought.

'I want my brother back'

The man goes and grabs a knife.

Kalki tilts his head in suspicion as the man's hand starts to shiver.

He hisses frustrated "What is it?"

The doctor says still nervously "The cut...has to be large enough..to drain all the poisoned blood".

Kalki stops thinking for a moment as he realizes that this could be fatal. His face turned hard and yells harshly "He might die loosing the blood loss!".

'How could I not know this?! I have been fighting this illness for years! How would someone know better than I?!'.

The doctor gulps "He still will if we don't remove the poisonous blood till we try to find a cure".

Kalki feels his head starts throbbing as the doctor's shivering head is worrying him. He walks ahead and pushes the doctor aside roughly.

He snatches the knife and takes a deep breath 'If this is it...I will delay this. As for the blood loss...'.

He indeed can be too cruel to save his brother

He frowns thinking something and tears Xavier's outer robes hurriedly as he wants to check something important before hurting Xavier. He wants to cut open his skin too before the poison spreads.

Kalki's hands freeze in midway as soon as he saw Xavier's bare chest. He gasps in shock "Where is it?!".

The doctors looks at each other blankly. Everyone is oblivion of Kalki's question.

'What is he searching for?!'

"Your Highness?".

Kalki's face turns hard and his jaw clenches. The whole room is filled with his menacing roar in the next moment.

"Where is it?!".

The doctor is completely drenched in his cold sweats "Your Highness. ..W-What are you asking for?".

Kalki feels himself loosing control over his anger and storms out of the sick chamber.

The doctors stood there bewildered without any idea of what their Crown Prince was searching for.

Fortunately Kalki finds Jonathan waiting outside the chamber and growls impatiently "Find Xavier's Royal chain with Cross pendant! At once! Every other things can wait. Send every single Royal servant for the search! I need it in no time!".

Jonathan was initially startled but sprints out as soon as Kalki finished his words.

Kalki walks inside the sick chamber again making the doctors panic more. He rubs his face and senses his own cold sweats.

He is scared!

He looks the knife in his hand and walks towards Xavier with his heavy footsteps.
