Maya stares at Bhommi slowly and grits her teeth hearing her words. She orders glaring her "You can leave".
Bhommi gasps stunned "But Sister-".
Before Bhommi could finish her sentence, she disappears in thin air. Maya's command made her to leave and let her alone.
Kalki silently observes Maya's every moves as if he was learning many things about her powers 'So she can make that girl disappear. ..' and waits for Maya's reaction. After all she is left alone with him.
'Everytime she is left alone with me, she ends up crying or What if she ends up breaking down this time? She might kneel and cry her life out!'.
But he really did not expect her only magical saviour to disappear. She should have asked Bhommi to save her from him instead.
Maya who was unaware of his expectations, walks back towards the chamber door slowly and ignores his presence completely.
"Now you are ungrateful too".
She stops hearing him and creases her eyebrows while her eyes focused on the floor. But her head was upright yet. She wouldn't dare to hang her head down in front of this arrogant man.
Kalki soeajs walking around his wooden table carelessly "I gave you everything. I took you from the streets and made your greedy dreams true! You must have over fantasized about your status here but you can't go or do anywhere without my permission now".
Maya's eyes try to betray her but she wouldn't even dare to cry hearing him. She felt sick. As he was true.
He continues approaching towards her languidly "Not every pauper can become The Queen here. My father's edict might have brought you till here. If you want to go further on, I am right in front of you. You can never survive next day without me. Now fortunately and unfortunately you have a purpose and need me more than ever...After all you can't even find your Power Element without my help!".
Every words from Kalki really shook Maya's pride and made her question herself. But she was so tongue-tied as Kalki's words sounded completely true!
Kalki frowns(finally some reaction) "Do you still want to be stupid enough to be ungrateful?".
He couldn't help grunt displeased "Speak woman!".
Maya takes a deep breath and speaks in a faint voice "I still don't regret saving your brother. I am grateful enough to appreciate one person, who really helped me".
Kalki "..."
'Did she ...just...call me ungrateful?!'
Maya's words which came in extremely weak and hoarse voice sounded like a full blown slap for Kalki. He didn't expect this! He didn't expect her to even stand and speak in front of him after what he had done to her few moments ago!
He forgot that Xavier was saved only with her help!
'She is....not that stupid..She knows when to use her tongue right ...'
Indeed. Nothing could be equal to his brother's life. Not even the Queen's title. Not even the Throne of whole Four Realms!
Maya walks out of the chamber with great struggle in grabbing her drenched skirts leaving astonished Kalki behind with his own thoughts.
She only felt weak. She couldn't take any of his words out of her head.
'He was true! I was greedy enough to fall in this trap! Was I really greedy and fell for his title?! Would I have followed him if he was a mere commoner?'.
She ignores the confused and shocked faces of the soldiers guarding the Royal Palace. She steps down from the corridors to avoid them and starts walking away randonly escaping the people. She can escape from people. Can she escape from her own thoughts?
'He was true...My father's name might be a reason but wasn't I really happy after hearing his marriage proposal? When I agreed him and followed him blindly, I must have looked like a stupid pauper who grabbed a golden edict to climb myself towards the Royality! Every single word from him is true! I allowed him to do this to me! Everything is my sole fault!'.
Her tears escapes from her eyes. She is already walking in the Royal garden, which was endlessly spread in front of her. May be it ends somewhere buy she didn't see any end...from here. Her eyes were so tired to see anything for her.
She walks ahead wiping her tears away roughly and didn't mind the environment. She felt ashamed. She felt the place around her is too extravagant now. She never felt so inferior.
'May be that's the truth. I don't belong here. Nobody wants me. The one who brought me here doesn't want me. He only needs me as a Royal Servant or a servant with a Royal title?! Didn't he say I was merely a Puppet Queen?! Was I really that? Did I look like that while talking in front of him? Was I really behaving the way he wanted me to act for the whole time?! Was I played by his plans?'.
She felt humiliated.
'It didn't hurt this much when he rejected me on the first day.. It did hurt that day.. I cried..yes..But..today...He crushed me..He crushed my self esteem! He smeared the shame on my face! He pointed that stupid and greedy face of mine!'.
Soon Maya finds herself in the woods and doesn't know where she is anymore or how to return. That wasn't her worry though at this moment.
A simple sentence itched her mind again and again. It starts haunting her mind.
'I shouldn't have come here....'
'Even if I should have come here anyhow...but not with him...'.
She felt her knees failing to stand and shivers in coldness around her. She starts muffling her sobs.
'Why is it fire when I wanted mine to be Water?! Why isn't it Prince Xavier? Why it has to be him?! How different everything would have been..if it was Prince Xavier. ..Why it has to end like this?!'
